It's sad that a very bland sign triggered you. Perhaps therapy may help.

It's a cautionary sign, that all recognize. If the signs were changed to persons at work, it would cease to have the ready, visceral intent and direction, that the sign is meant to give.

When you say to people " how are u guys doing?"
Is that sexists? U were triggered by this? What if a guy flashes his dick at you? Will you turn to dust?

To avoid this problem we should just outlaw "work" in general.

Although I'm a feminist, I am not at all "triggered" because of that sign, the sign says "men at work", if you check who's working, it's actually men.

No. I really don't think its a big deal. It's just a sign to make others aware of other people's presence.

No because men are more likely to be slapdash in health and safety, if it was women at work the sign would be more like "caution, women at work"

I've accidentally totaled a Ford Focus by landing on it coming back from my lunch break. I don't come with warning lights. When I work, the world trembles, hence the sign.

Yes and No. It depends on your perspective. lets say the place is a strictly men work area then it would make sense to just have one gender. On the other hand it should not just say one gender. I suggest to not worry about it.

It used to be that people read "men" in literature, people construed it to mean both men and women. So, "Men At Work" would mean both men and women. But I don't think that applies today.

Women and men nowdays are getting offended by EVERYTHING. I call it "crystal generation", they are so senstive about everything taht relates to gender, or sex. Take a look recently as to why some cartoon studios are stop broadcasting some tv cartoons that were old cartoons from the 80`s because some character disrespected a woman or they use bad language in those old cartoons. So now to please these crystal generation that get offended by everything , those old harmless cartoons back in taht time, are not longer on TV.
