No, we're not. The Democratic Party is practically the only political party in America that actually addresses issues that Black people face. As for the Democratic Party supposedly keeping people as slaves, that's not entirely true. While the pro-slavery party of the past was definitely Democratic, before the Fifth Party System occurred during the Great Depression era, pro-slavery Democrats had conservative right-wing views, not unlike the Republicans of today. In other words, the Republicans of today were pretty much the slave-owners of the past. The only thing that changed was basically a name switch during the Great Depression. In addition, no political party pushed drugs into the Black community. Drugs were an issue in all communities and still are, but they simply were more profitable in the Black community because many Black people unfortunately found more profit in crime and selling drugs because of high rates of discrimination, something that the Republican Party constantly denies.
Thus, if Black people were represented more equally in the employment sector throughout history, then the drugs wouldn't have been as profitable. As for the welfare programs, ironically, they were introduced by Democrats and turned out to be useful for the Black community because they served as great fallbacks for Black people during Republican-led recessions and a good support alternative after being discriminated against, especially in the 60s. The media and Democrats simply attempt to appeal to young Black voters by using rappers and athletes. Republicans attempt to do the same thing as well when they try to win Blacks by using Republican entertainers such as little Wayne and Kanye West.
Nothing is wrong with looking up to entertainers and athletes. It has nothing to do with convincing Black people that they can't be successful without rap and sports. However, such professions are perhaps the only ones where Black people can't be racially discriminated against. Rap was created by Black people and sports such as basketball practically can't exist for long without Black athletes because Blacks are often the best athletes. Yet, plenty Black people still excel academically and land high-paying jobs when given the chance. Thus, I'm not convinced that Black people are fools for supporting Democrats. While the Democratic Party isn't perfect, they actually address Black issues.
Republicans don't address the fact that Black people are victims of hate crimes at the highest rates, are unlikely to receive callbacks for job interviews if they have a "Black sounding name," are more likely to be shot by police when unarmed at higher rates, are more likely to be denied to rent or purchase a home in certain neighborhoods, and so on. Democrats address these issues and attempt to solve them, but because it's often moderate Democrats that tend to get elected into office, or Democrats almost never having the majority in Congress, they are hardly given the chance to achieve their goals because of Republicans that regularly deny their issues. If anything, Blacks definitely would be fools for supporting Republicans.
As for Black Lives Matter, people always looked down on the Black community long before Black Lives Matter even existed. Thus, it's not BLM's fault that people look down on Blacks. That's the fault of their own prejudice and flawed reasoning. However, Black Lives Matter exists because it addresses the fact that Black people are killed by cops at higher rates, especially when unarmed, and police officers are very rarely convicted of it. The Republican Party definitely denies these facts, but Democrats tend to support the message. Also, many of the people that do the rioting and looting in the name of Black Lives Matter are mostly White. That picture you posted doesn't represent all the riots and looting.
