Honestly, I find people who get so worked up over politics to be very un-chill and unattractive.
I get that people have political views, I have some myself and I stand by them, but I don't get worked up over them, I don't wage flame wars online over them, I don't get angry or upset if my views are being more and more hated and obsolete.
I have my political views and I'll only talk about them when asked, after all, what's the point in talking about them if nobody asked other than wasting everyone's time and energy?

A first date? Yeah. I don't even care if I 100% agree with her views. That's not what I wanna focus on. I wanna focus on having the most fun on the first date. Political discussions can be stimulating sometimes but not my idea of fun, just like I don't want to talk algorithms on a first date.
I don't mind talking politics but on a first date I'd like to think that the other person wants to get to know me and vice versa. Talking politics can come at a later date!
I'd give him 10 min and then if he doesn't change the topic on his own accord, we're probably not having a second date.
Outrage is for later, not for first dates.

Yes it would be because these matters owe great importance to me and I will never in my life date a labour/liberal voter. I'm a hard right wing, openly neo-fascist person and believe in being ultra conservative. These people are hypocrites that want their opinions to be agreed with but scrutinize the others for having their own. I believe it's time we take the negative past out of fascism and make it a clean ideology. In a democracy each wing has equal right to raise their opinions but in the modern world it's a joke. Tyrranical in fact.
Better the first date, so I can dump her ranting ass without wasting a lot of time and money!
Nope that's perfect. I can find out if there morals don't line up with mine. Then leave or not.
Yeah on first dates, things like religion, politics etc is really off the table.
if someone brought it up in a fanatical way, irrespective of what it was, it’s time to get my coat.Yeah, I don’t want to discuss politics on a first date, and that was even the case when I lived in DC.
I don't recommend it to anyone of either side of the political spectrum. You could turn the other person off before the food even arrives. Even if they agree with me it is not what I want to start out discussing with her.
It's an excellent way to get to know them and I personally find it a lot of fun to talk about politics.
As long as they can agree to disagree if need be and are respectful, let's have at it.Even if I agree with their views I don’t like it. More because I don’t need that type of shit around friends.
The mention of Trumps name is a trigger for some lefties. Just watch cable "news". I'm surprised none of those idiots has popped an artery in his brain.
nope , i love it , we have same interest to talk about
I dont wanna date someone interested in politics
I don't think so , indifferent.
Only if they were a liberal.
