Is it time to ban the very hungry caterpillar?

The author of the very hungry caterpillar has just died but is it time to ban the book. I believe it is responsible for the obesity crisis we're facing. My evidence? Look at photos of people pre-caterpillar days and they're all fit and healthy. Children raised in the 70s and 80s reading the book grew up with an "eat everything in sight" attitude and are now fat adults passing on their gluttonous habits to their fat kids.

Worse still in the book he becomes a beautiful butterfly. Now we have fatties swanning around with a "we're all beautiful" attitude.

Thanks to obesity related conditions like diabetes and heart disease the hungry caterpillar is responsible for more deaths than mein kampf.
