I think there are gray areas.
Also, I would love to see a discussion about consent when it comes to the other parts of relationships.
E. g. lots of women are extremely clingy with guys they have only just met, constantly texting or wanting to talk. Lots of women become extremely controlling in relationships, gradually reducing a guy's freedom to have a life outside of the relationship.
And women in general, like, take video games. Women have really taken up video gaming in recent decades, but along with that, they have brought all sorts of non-negotiable demands, like e. g. female characters can't be overly sexualized.
Imagine if men started pouring into some female space - let's say romance novels - and came up with all sorts of ultimatums, like "no billionaires, and no sixpacks on the cover". Then when women got mad, the men accused them of sexism.
What I am saying is that women overstep men's boundaries all the damn time with zero consequences. And they sure as hell do it sexually too, from time to time.
And no one cares about that.
One of my friends killed someone. One person, in cold blood, years before I met him. He hasn't done shit since, got out on a stroke of luck with some program and turned around, been doing okay since.
We became friends bc at the time I was trying to get control of my temper, so was he and reached out, and we were able to talk about it, hold each other accountable for progress and shit like that.
I believe anyone can change and be better, if they put in the work to do it. And I believe anyone is capable of doing horrible things as well, under the right circumstances. So I try not to judge based solely on their past, more on how they are at present.
Rape is a conscious decision, while i dont think it should follow them forever, & they must be on the registration for the allotted time. One crime shouldn't make you ineligible to live your life if youve learned your lesson.
Monsters. I don’t care if it was a one time accident, and you’re otherwise borderline pure of heart. They deserve to die.
I know this is late but what do you mean I’m otherwise borderline pure of heart?

It is such a minor matter. Per Dr. Mary Koss, feminist and rape expert, rape is having sex with a women when she really didn't want to because you were persistent and also it is having sex with a woman after she had alcohol or drugs based on the fact that according to Ms. Koss, after a woman has a drink of alcohol, etc., she is not competent to give consent.
Those are two of the definition she used to claim that 25% of college girls are raped and what mainstream media continues to post as fact. Those percentages are quite a contrast from the FBI statistics, using the more traditionally definition of rape, that one college girl for every two colleges per year is raped.
Anyone who could commit such a vile, disgusting act is a monster, plain and simple.
It doesn't matter if it's one time, or a thousand times. There is no redemption for such a person, just because it only happened once. It's not a mistake. They may be able move on, but the person they raped will always remember.
There are some things that you just cannot do and call it a mistake, even once. It's an unforgivable crime and one that there was no need to commit and no excuse to commit. I'm not talking about false accusations of rape, or those convicted who were not guilty. I'm talking about those who are guilty. They knew what they were doing and they did it anyway.
Monsters for violent rapists anyway. For the guy who persuades a girl saying he loves her or whatnot, then ditches her, well, I think he's the desperate loser. Girls define rape in such loose terms these days. If a girl doesn't reject firmly, that's not rape.
The only mistake was that the rapist is A still alive and B has all his body parts.
I wonder with one of those skin graft razors, just how many slices it would take to hit bone.
I think it could take a while and a few gins,
You're a monster and should get the death sentence or locked up in a mental ward. If you can't control yourself then you don't need to be out in society. Especially child rapists, thank God convicts usually kill them before they even get released.
I don't think this issue is open for discussion.. Monsters.
Rape isn’t ever an “accident”. So people who commit rape know exactly what they are doing.
Sounds like we got a man who posts Anonymous who raped a woman and wants some idea on redemption. Well here is a perspective. Turn around, get on your knee's. *cocking click* BANG! Painless quick and easy.
Hm, not very nice to assume but ok.
@Agape93 not worth my time
Actual rape is almost always pre-mediated. Pre-mediated crimes are given harsher punishments because they're not just "heat of the moment" mistakes.
Depends on the crime and intent.
Some are acquitted, and some go on to commit other crimes. Rape is rarely a solitary crime and there is usually a lot of background going on.
I don't really understand how you can mistakenly rape someone.
Did you rape someone in self defense or something? Like I just don't get it.
Actual rape is a pretty big crime to commit in my opinion.
"One time" is still more than enough to ruin the victim's life. Rape isn't a mistake, it's a choice.
Any person capable of committing rape is a monster. If you’re capable of rape, you’re probably capable of murder too. It’s a little more than a mistake. A mistake is more along the lines of a DUI or something.
Rape is not really a mistake it’s something you have to work pretty hard and consciously to do
If they choose to NEVER do it again, mistake. If they keep doing it, monster.
These people are mentally ill. They will never change and need to be locked up.
Depends man. Rape has somewhat of a complicated definition when you include drunk women who might not remember consenting
If they did commit rape they are a monster. If they were falsely accused and jailed for rape without doing it then they are not.
