I think to a small extent, the father does have a say in the abortion matter.
As for vaccine, yes, people should know better. If they don't want it, there's no need to force. Let them die.
PS. I'm yet to be vaccinated.

I didn't realize a baby's body also counts as a mothers body. The biggest flaw in the pro choice argument.
Well, yes, it's a clump of cells that is growing inside a woman. When a child is born the woman makes the decisions up until they can make their own (16-18 ish) so of course she will make decisions about abortion whilst it's still a fetus.

@LeeannaDD My point was that you made decisions on what happens to your child up until that age, weather they be a baby, 7 years old, 14 years old, or a foetus. That decision is obviously not the childs are they are unable to unless they are classed as an adult

This is an invalid comparison because abortion is about killing the babies body. So the correct comparison is are you allowed to kill yourself, and the answer is yes.

Very long answer, too lazy to think and type it all.
Here's my answer to why they're the same:
-Both involve someone making a choice about their body
-Both are medical procedures in order to save lives (in abortion's case, many are needed to save the mother's life/livelyhood)
-Getting rid of doing both safely will end up in suffering (women will get unsafe abortions while getting rid of vaccines will make infectious diseases live longer)
@lakotabebebe the one thing you and @asker are forgetting is that covid and not getting the vaccine can affect everyone around them including themselves. Abortions ONLY affect the mother. Its entirely different. No comparison at all

The other involves the life of the human being created inside the mother
And the mother’s life in emergency situations.
The vast majority of abortions are not done to save the mother’s life or even livelihood.

I don't think these compare well especially if you put my wallet my choice next to it for child support, just ends up exposing everyone in the debate to be a worthless hypocrite.
Because of how biology works, what one does with one's own body often has an affect on others. This is why the government has and should have the authority to require certain things and ban others.
Have always felt it is the woman's right to make that choice. I may not agree with the choice but that is my issue not yours. Even if you have a good reason not to, it is still your choice. I do not want anyone telling what to do with my body.
The people saying "my body my choice" is literally to point out the hypocrisy of leftists who will immediately abandon that logic when it not longer serves them. This is a right wing argument, it seems to have gone over your head.
One is actively killing a human life.
The other is a vaccine that doesn't show proof of even being effective and is know to have side effects that might be life threatening to a virus that has around a 97% survival rate.
There's plenty of evidence to suggest that the corona vaccine is highly efficacious.
There's also no comparison betweem the risks of the vaccine and the risks of the virus. There is no life threatening side effects of the vaccine. Contracting the virus forces many people to be hospitalised, filling up spaces and putting major strains on hospitals, as well as causing significant health problems to people such as damaging the respiratory system whether or not they actually die. And older people do have a higher chance of dying from it. Furthermore, you're contributing to the imposition of restrictions which severely affect people's mental health, education, work, etc.
Refusing the vaccine on grounds outside of personal health is the most selfish thing a person can do.

Nope. Women aren’t God and don’t get to determine if their unborn child is killed. Let women chose what to do with their bodies, not the unborn child’s body.

If you want to push the issue of being able to murder your unborn child and call it good and right and just then I suppose that’s your business. Just remember all of us will stand before Christ one day. Some will be rewarded and some will be punished. Jesus won’t excuse this on grounds it was perceived to limit women’s rights. God doesn’t excuse things he defines as sin, with the exception of repentance and saving faith. Jesus must be the Lord and savior of each person. Since he is Lord, how will anyone be excused for deliberately and willfully disobeying him until the day their life on earth ends? How will anyone who aligns themselves against his will on any issue without repenting think they won’t face his wrath? Will you also decide God’s opinion on this is invalid? One may think they can overrule and ignore God in this life but scripture is replete with warnings about the fate of those who do so.

You make a good argument. I am pro choice but I would argue that the fetus does not have a voice in what happens to his/her body.
The baby is a different body. You don't naturally have 4 arms or legs nor 20 fingers on each and feet
A fetus doesn't have arms & legs until later on during the pregnancy, not in the early stages. Its just stem cells that dont know what they are yet.
So getting rid of a developing baby is alright but cracking accidentally an eagle egg grants you a 100 grand fine? Valuing animals is more important than valuing your own species?
The fact that we are grossly a larger species, yes, our species should have a limit on procreation. Yep, that 1/1000 birds is more important than a 1/7.6billion people

You are as much a clump of cells as an unborn child, more so really. You most likely an inconvenience to someone, can they kill you for that also?
