I do have to turn this around on the pro-vaxxers as well (I have already had both my vaccines in March for full disclosure). Should we have to force someone to willfully not put themselves at risk?
I know your next thought is about those who can't get the shot themselves and trust me, I am with you on that. The next thought after that is, "yeah but Bri, one is ending the life of one before it begins and the spreading of a pandemic has killed millions". Again I agree with you.
So why would I be defending anti-vaxxers/mask people? Well simply put, we can't have it both ways. If we want autonomy of our bodies to allow for our own choices in pregnancy or termination of one, then we have to allow them to make their own choices as well.
My only real problem is their inability to return the same courtesy. Their mindset of "Free speech for me, but not for thee" is maddening.

A woman can just get pregnant the once (yes im fully aware of the rare times a woman technically gets pregnant twice and has two different baby fathers at the same time). I doubt a lot of volunteers will step forward to give up sex so, if they are OK with a woman going through a medical procedure to ensure birth control, they should need to go through it too.

Sure does, but guys are always expecting women to be on birth control. Also, the costs are roughly the same for an iud insertion and removal. Reversal rates are around 95% effective. Meanwhile women clock in at around an 83% success rate of getting pregnant within the first year.
I'm interested in seeing the replies. I'm personally pro choice, though I advocate for more proper sex education and birth control tools to prevent as many abortions as possible. It's dumb that people claim they want body autonomy on vaccines (something NEEDED to rpevent illnessess) but won't let a woman make an already tough choice. No woman WANTS to have an abortion, it's a choice they usually NEED to make.
People are 'my body my choice' when it comes to the vaccine, in response to those who are 'my body my choice' when it comes to abortion.
The latter tend to be a bunch of hypocrites and have no problem with circumcising a baby boy, because 'my body my choice' doesn't apply to them and combine that with pulling out the victim card and that makes for a great argument.

If people can do what they want to their own body, then they have every right to choice not to get vaccinated for a 'deadly' disease that has crazy high recovery rate and I mean what's going to happen, is a none-vaccinated person going to pass it onto someone who's already vaccinated 😂, yeah, that'll kill them, which would defeat the entire purpose of the vaccine, which doesn't even stop you from passing it on to people.

Completely missing the point. First off the argument is reversed, the left says her body her choice until it comes to the vaccine at which point to hell with the persons body and choice only the left gets to determine what you do with it. That is what the argument is. Second my body my choice doesn't apply to abortions because its quite literally NOT YOUR BODY. Thats like a mother murdering her ten year old child and saying its her body her choice, no one in their right mind would think that was rational. A fetus isn't your body, you chose to get pregnant (because in this day and age yes its a choice), you chose to have sex you chose to have sex with out a condom you chose not to have him pull out, you chose to get pregnant, now some one else exists and you dont get to murder them because you find their existence inconvient for you. So its not even an applicable argument to abortion. Completely separate genetic code from the mother equals not her body.

Second, this is still completely unrelated because I did not create that virus, I did not create that life through a series of personal choices and then decide to murder others like abortion. So to compare it, its not a risk to others (again, its not dangerous statistically speaking and only those who are unvaccinated risk getting corona) like abortion is. Also if we are going to make a proper analogue it would be me choosing not to get the vaccine and feeling so put out by it that I go and murder every one who is at risk so that I don't have to take it i. e. the argument is stupid.

Your also not allowed to drink because some people drink and drive and that puts others at risk so we have to get rid of everything that could possibly be a threat. If you claim that actions have consequences that could affect others as you are arguing, then your arguing that NO ONE is allowed to make an action or choice because their will always be a risk of affecting some one else. The problem is that is a risk that comes with existing, abortion however is an active choice, to provide a comparable analogue its the difference between not getting a vaccine (perfectly reasonable) to actively infecting people with the virus and denying them medical aid and making sure they die from it (the equivalent of abortion). Those are two different things and your trying to equate them together and that makes for a poor argument.
@hellionthesagereborn You not taking the vaccine is going to put people who have taken the vaccine at risk too. Just because you took the vaccine, it does not mean that you can't get covid. According to the CDC, the world's covid risk can only be minimized to the highest extent if everyone takes the vaccine. So yes, if you chose to not take the vaccine, other people's lives will still be in your hands.
And secondly, just because the baby is a separate being from the mother, it does not mean that this baby's life will not be impacted in a severely negative way.
Have you ever considered what kind of childhood this baby will have? Both parents treat him like shit because they wished he was never born? Or a subpar childhood with adoptive parents where he's seen just like every other kid on the street?
Do you realize that adopted kids understand that the adopted parents' love for their kids is not the same as a biological parent's love for their kids? Adopted kids know that they do not belong anywhere and that they are not entitled to anyone's love.
Biological kids have the privilege of complaining about not having enough attention time with their divorced father. Adopted kids will be happy at least if someone can provide them any kind of food and shelter.
Adopted kids will also need to spend the rest of their lives knowing that their mothers and fathers (the most important people in their lives) chose to abandon them. Trust me, its not a good feeling. They will just lead a life feeling inadequate in themselves.
I think that if you're not gonna provide a kid with a decent childhood, the child does not need to be born. No child deserves to be born into a world where nobody wants them or to have a subpar childhood. Most foster homes are complete crap.
Its not only about the morality of "killing". You also need to consider the morality of forcing a kid into a terrible subpar childhood where he does not get the love, attention that he needs to grow up into a successful adult.

Also according to the CDC (since you've clearly read their data), covid has a.3% mortality rate and for many demographics its as low as.007%. That is lower then most everything else i. e. car accident deaths.

@Ayanna240 Let me tell you about my life, my first memory is of my mothers boyfriend beating me then fucking my face. The second oldest memory is of him trying to suffocate me to death. The third is of me being stabbed in the head and being left on the floor to die there. The fourth was of when I went into foster care and ate so much I threw up because I had been starved to the point where my skin was nearly transparent. I would wait until no one was around and run into the bathroom an shove my head under the faucet to drink what I could because getting water would result in a beating by my biological mother and her boyfriend. I was then put into a foster home where I was eventually adopted, however my step mother was emotionally abusive, treated me like I was going to be a monster simply because I was beaten and raped and starve as a child. I could not do anything that normal children did without being accused of alterior motives, if my brother hit me and I hit him back I would be punished and accused of wanting "to make him bleed" by her. I was kicked out of the house and slept outside on more then one occasion.
Would you like to know what else? the rape, the starvation, the beatings, the torture, the being stabbed in the head, the never being loved as a child, the constant accusations of wrong doing when I did nothing wrong, and the constant alluding to me growing up to be a bad person simply because I was a victim. . . was far far fucking better then being dead. What kind of arrogant piece of shit thinks they are so much better and wiser then others that they should have the right to decide when a person wants to live or not rather then leaving it up to the individual? As for overpopulation, their is no overpopulation. Almost every developed nation is seeing a DECLINE in birth rates. In fact most nations can't even replace their population they have now, the exception being predominantly africa. This is why immigration is such a big deal, its the only way to keep the society going because people are not having enough kids so they need to get immigrants to come in and fill the void. Overpopulation theory was debunked in the early 1900s, not sure why people keep bringing it up as if it was legitimate.

But lets get back to your antiscience narrative. Herd immunity has already been reached this is a proven fact and cannot be debated (declining rates show this to be true). Vaccines work by triggering a persons immune response by injecting the person with a part of the pathogen in question, either a dead one or parts of the viral protein sheath. This triggers the body to find enzymes that dissolve those protein sheaths or cell walls of bacterial pathogens, destroying their ability to replicate and the macrophages clean up the rest. This gives the body a memory of that enzyme for that particular disease so that when it comes in contact with it again it knows which one to use to destroying it quickly and effectively.
@Ayanna240 In short if you take the vaccine you cannot be reinfected as per all scientific literature (out of the entire world of those who got the virus, we have two cases of reinfection and data suggests the second one was a misdiagnosis). This also applies to vaccines. The idea that every one needs to get it to magically work is unscientific, what exactly would that do? Well, nothing because either the vaccine works and those who got it will not be reinfected or two the vaccine doesn't work in which case it is worthless and we shouldn't take it because its needless. Either way you have no argument based upon scientific data and logic.

@hellionthesagereborn I think most people would agree that its better not to be born than to be born and neglected, unloved, maybe even grow up into living a criminal or unsuccessful life. A bad upbringing can really fuck up someone's life.
An unloved daughter will only grow up to date the wrong men , because she is desperate for someone's love and affection. She will only float from guy to next guy to next guy. This is where Sluts are made. Sluts are usually that way because they lacked love and affection during their upbringing.
An abused child will grow up with mental issues of trauma, severe anxiety, issues interacting with the public, OR EVEN BECOME ABUSIVE PEOPLE THEMSELVES. Its been proven that abusive parents are people who have been abused as kids. Trauma has so many terrible lingering effects on one's mental psyche. Its not even a joke.
And every child needs a parent who is willing to pay for their college education. But not every adopting family will pay for an orphan's college education.
Because the reality is, burger flippers, maids, waiter jobs are gonna be automated within the next 15 years. Without a parent who is willing to pay for a child's advanced education, this kid is doomed to become homeless for life.

Personal experience, again, proves to me that they can be necessary. I got my ex-fiance preggers once and, although we were hoping to keep it, her Dr. told her that, if she was going to keep it, she'd have to spend the rest of the 9 months in bed and, there's was a very good chance the kid would be another stillborn (she'd already had one with her ex-hubby before me and it REALLY freaked her out because, it was too far along to abort when it died so, she walked around in a daze for the last few months knowing she had a dead baby inside of her!!). Well, she didn't want to risk THAT again so, she had to abort. There was also a chance she would've died just having the baby. I certainly would've loved having a kid, especially with her but, I don't blame her at all for what she had to do!! The kid would've been 26 or 27 by now.

Not all married copulas who want to adopt should be given children, since its very easy for these strangers to abuse kids that is not theirs due to lack of blood relation.
This is why adoption agencies are so strict when it comes to giving kids to married couples. They want to select the best people to raise these kids. You can't just say stuff any random kid into some stranger's arms. It doesn't work that way.
You keep saying its immoral to kill a life. So why aren't you concerned about the immorality of just forcing a kid into some random stranger's house? there's no guarantee that the adopted kid will be taken care of as well as biological kids.
A biological parent would starve for days , just to feed her children. An adopted parent probably wouldn't starve for days just to feed their adopted children. She might feed herself first. A biological parent would stay up awake all night to tutor her child ebcause she is so consumed with worry that her child is not doing well in school. I've seen an adopted girl claim that she can "borrow someone else's parents" to help her do something. The rest of her classmates told her "do you realize you can't just borrow someone else's parents?"
She just couldn't understand the bond between biological parent and kids. Its a very special bond. She never experienced that kind of deep bond which is why she has no idea why she can't just borrow someone else's parents.
Many adopted kids also know that they have no where else to go , nobody to care for them , if its not for their adopting mothers. They see their caretakers as "saviors".
Meanwhile every other kid has a cozy happy place to belong with pure unconditional love.
This stuff is not fun to play around with. Adoption should really be the last resort. Its not cool to just put a kid out into this world, lost, dump him to any random stranger, put him in a sub par childhood, let him fend for himself on his own.

-Both involve someone making a choice about their body
-Both are medical procedures in order to save lives (in abortion's case, many are needed to save the mother's life/livelyhood)

Contracting the virus forces many people to be hospitalised, filling up spaces and putting major strains on hospitals, as well as causing significant health problems to people such as damaging the respiratory system whether or not they actually die. And older people do have a higher chance of dying from it. Furthermore, you're contributing to the imposition of restrictions which severely affect people's mental health, education, work, etc.
Refusing the vaccine on grounds outside of personal health is the most selfish thing a person can do.

Nope. Women aren’t God and don’t get to determine if their unborn child is killed. Let women chose what to do with their bodies, not the unborn child’s body.
If you want to push the issue of being able to murder your unborn child and call it good and right and just then I suppose that’s your business. Just remember all of us will stand before Christ one day. Some will be rewarded and some will be punished. Jesus won’t excuse this on grounds it was perceived to limit women’s rights. God doesn’t excuse things he defines as sin, with the exception of repentance and saving faith. Jesus must be the Lord and savior of each person. Since he is Lord, how will anyone be excused for deliberately and willfully disobeying him until the day their life on earth ends? How will anyone who aligns themselves against his will on any issue without repenting think they won’t face his wrath? Will you also decide God’s opinion on this is invalid? One may think they can overrule and ignore God in this life but scripture is replete with warnings about the fate of those who do so.

A fetus doesn't have arms & legs until later on during the pregnancy, not in the early stages. Its just stem cells that dont know what they are yet.

Im an atheist & its my belief that a fetus isn't a "baby" until a heartbeat & brain function develope. I support my fellow women in the difficult decision that it takes to abort their fetus. But no, i thankfully have never had to make the difficult choice to abort a fetus or not, but i do know women who have made the choice, & i believe other women SHOULD HAVE the option available for consideration.
