Twitch streamer Destiny makes a good point about why it attracts mentally ill viewers?

Basically this man said the reason why twitchTV attracts many mentally ill viewers is because it feels like the streamer is connecting with them. You have mentally ill people and very lonely guys out there. Twitch calls out to them... and takes their money.

For example if you ever watched a girl streamer many of them put on a fake voice, pretty themselves up and speak in such a way that it feels like they are bonding with you. They won't directly call you by name but instead use the word chat. You start copying other chat users and then sooner or later you feel like a part of the group. Now when she says sup chat it feels like she's talking to you.

It you start donating money she'll even start directly using your user name. This right here is calling being an oiler. Oilers on twitch are wealthy men that keep donating to female streamers. The more oilers you have the more income you get. So how do you get oilers? Be pretty and understand the twitch survival game.

If you donate enough you may even get to met your streamer in person. He donated $40,000
