If your vaccine status was actually PPI, which it isn't, you'd be right. Since it isn't, they legally can. It's like how kids can't go to school without being vaccinated against certain things, unless there's a religious exemption.
Some countries in Europe are using a digital certification. Is equal for everyone on the country and simple states that you are vaccinated. You have it on your phone, show it at the entrance for them to validate and you get in.
I say we should just make it easier to identify the unvaccinated, like have them wear a symbol, like a gold star on their lapel.
I seem to recall Germany doing something like that a while back.

As for new COVID cases, who cares? Case count is far and away the least useful metric to measure COVID severity. As for vaccinations, blacks and Latinos lag far behind whites in vaccination rates.

Case counts are nearly meaningless because they give virtually zero useful information. How about we look at death rates? Los Angeles County, with ten million people, has a seven day rolling average of 10 deaths, litterally one in a million. Nationally, the seven day rolling average is approximately 450. These are not panic numbers, especially since the data suggests that the end of August or early September should see case counts coming down pretty quickly.
I know you've been told to be in a constant state of fear and to bow to all government dictates but those of us who think for ourselves can see there is no reason to be concerned.

As of 5 minutes ago, the official death count in the US is just shy of 627,000 and we know with certainly that number is inflated,, likely by a significant amount. Where you're getting 4.7 million is a mystery to me, but I'd suggest laying off the fake news.
And no, those ten deaths in LA and the 450 nationwide are not avoidable. Zero COVID is not an achievable goal, people are going to catch it and people are going to die from it, just like people die from nearly everything else every single day. There is more to life than just not dying.

The number of deaths will always be higher if nothing is done. That much is certain. In my country for example. Vaccination is being embraced by the population and studies show around 17 thousand new infections avoided and 40 times less chances of a person getting infected. And we are not the only county with similar data proving they work.

There’d have to be IDs of some type. Every vaxxed person already has a vax card with an individual number assigned.
There is an vaccine card, The thing is businesses aren’t allowed to ask you for it if you are a customer, Technically if your trying to get a job at business X or Y they can ask you for it. However if you’re going into Walmart to buy shampoo they cannot legally ask you for your vaccination record. It’s like having A service animal they’re not allowed to ask you if your animal is a service animal or not. The whole idea is that we trust our fellow Americans if we don’t have that level of trust we really don’t have a country
