Like sometime this century?
I feel like it could happen, I've been seeing a lot of vegan burgers and food in stores lately... And I've also seen a huge rise of millitant vegans and people becoming vegans on YouTube.. they are trying to take over and ban all animal products

Farmers need animal slurry because using permanently artificial fertilizer is bad for soil and microorganisms in it. If we in first world stop eating meat, farmers reduce live stock population massively , this will lead to less sully and manure > we start to eat more vegetables > soil degrades even more due extensive artificial fertilizer use > less crop > higher market prices > bad things will happen in countries which have to import food.
By the way, artificial fertilizer production needs a lot of oil, gas, energy and mineral which need to be transported. Replacing animal fertilizer with artificial one will increase CO2 output massively.

No because meat is required by a lot of people, fish is very healthy and a source of major vitamins etc.

So far there is nothing that is a real substitute for meat for Everyone.

As technology improves, we may see changes to how our diet changes but I can’t see it happening.

Also we would be making huge numbers of animal types and breeds extinct.

we only have them as we eat them.

Um I don't think it will. I already don't eat meat because I'm a pescatarian. They can blab on and on about veganism all they want. Eating meat is not illegal
