Why do people this days like to blame inanimate objects for their problems but they don't blame guns when gun violence occur?

Just like blaming the internet, social medias, tiktok or whatever when people are getting depressed, also causing the rise of stupidity or other issues. But when it comes to people being anti guns, you can hear everyone is like "guns don't kill people but people kill people" so how come nobody has ever thought of "the internet doesn't make people stupid but people make people stupid" or anything like that? Is that like an excuse to avoid responsibilities when using it?

People that blame inanimate objects for their problems are idiots that can’t own up to their bad choices. If you put a killer a victim and a gun in a room together the killer is going to kill the victim now take the gun out of the room and the killer is still going to kill the victim now take the killer out of the room and nobody gets killed hell take the victim out of the room and the killer is going to find someone somewhere to kill. Guns are not making people kill people and killers don’t need guns to kill

It’s like when parents were flipping out about heavy metal back in the day I think they were mostly tripping on kiss anyways everyone is looking for a scape goat. I also don’t have tick tock or even really know anything about tick tock but it’s not video games or heavy metal it’s the government sending subliminal messages run for your life

I think what they are saying is if people can’t kill each other with guns they will use knives or fists instead, meaning people have to control the criminal behaviour with intervention and jail time and not the accessibility to weapons but I agree, homicides would be lower with gun bans but only for those who do not have the connections to purchase firearms illegally the way gangs do.

With social media, I think the facility is the problem because the impersonal nature of online communication and migratory nature of personal expression, undervalues the naturalism associated with daily conversation

Social medias and internet don't move if you don't do anything to it. So those online communications don't happen without anyone controlling it. The internet itself doesn't roast you unless a human person did it behind the internet so it involves the same principle.
