Because the Chinese and Russians who are blackmailing his family told him to. So they can backward engineer it and exploit a weakness.
Sadly this is really true. Just think, if they were blackmailing Biden and wanted him to weaken our country what would they tell him to do? Answer, everything he has done since day one in the oval office.
Stopped the wall which was paid for. Now he is paying the contractors more money to not build as MILLIONS come across the border.
He stopped our pipeline which we were energy independent thanks to Trump. Then he let Russia finish their pipeline into Europe giving Russia lots of money and control of energy in Europe.
As gas prices have risen %50 he asked OPEC to pump more. They told him no.
This just goes on, and on. You can't make this up.
He is compromised.

It does not matter if we are talking about medieval warfare, WW 1/2 or wars in the future, no withdrawal will ever be perfect. Even for the side of a given conflict that won. The truth is that no conflict and any aspect of it will ever be perfect. Because a conflicts are fought by humans and we are far from perfect.
Also questions like this are a good example of why I never participated in politics. Because people can get so wrapped up on their political beliefs that they can only see thing on a narrow path in front of them and many people refuse to see the full picture.00 Reply

+1 yCost and time. It's cheaper and quicker to just put them out of use and leave them. The reason America lost the war in the first places is it's not financially practical a to keep sending billion dollar equipment over plus millions for transport, maintenance, admid etc just to bomb a few tents to help a country no one really gives a shit about

But they weren't put out of use. The Taliban now has more black hawk helicopters than Australia.

No one will really ever know why Biden did so much stupid shit for this withdrawal. Virtually NOTHING he did made any sense in the way it was done or handled. Our military was forced to handle a major problem with not enough time to complete it properly. Biden told the Taliban we'd be gone by 31 Aug, and then basically transmitted our operations plans directly to our enemy.
He should be taken out and shot for treason! Then follow up with the VP, the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff in DoD, the head of the State Dept, and the chiefs of our alphabet soup groups (CIA, NSA, FBI, and others). Not one of them raised holy living hell against Biden for his asinine plan.
You don't bow to the enemy. You dictate what YOUR terms will be (for a withdrawal) and NEVER give them a firm date. Biden has caused irreparable damage to America's standing, not to mention the damage he's inflicted on our relationships with our allies.10 Reply 8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Some of it seems to have ended up in Iran already, and probably some other places we wouldn't want it to be.
Biden's puppeteers must have wanted it to end up there and of course Biden didn't want to make it look like he gifted it to our enemies.00 Reply3.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because he’s a moron who think a terrorist grouping like the Taliban should have assault rifles tanks humVs and helicopters but not American citizens. At this point he has committed treason against the United States and everyone who still supports him is guilty as well

+1 yFor the Taliban government can use it in a war. What other purpose would it be?
Besides the point its old and used up equipment in comparison to what the U. S. military creates in new weaponry and artillery.012 Reply- +1 y
Unusable in accordance to the U. S. standards. The equipment is old and beat up.
- +1 y
Try harder. 300,000 assault weapons were left for the terrorists. 22,000 Humvees. Military drones. 23 of the best fighter jets in the world. China and Russia are scrambling to get their hands on this technology and study it.
Trump wanted to blow it all up with explosives, but Slow Joe did what China told him to do. - +1 y
@KimmyKimmy: Girl, a assault rifle, tanks, jets etc are only as good as the person capable of using it properly.
The artillery and weaponry left behind is probably 5 to 7 years old of use and beat up, probably not well maintained in the last months or years and needs heavy repairs etc.
A 2015 Lamborghini is still good, but it's not to be compared to the 2021 more advanced model.
U. S. weaponry and artillery is the best in the world in technology and the U. S. has better and improved technology to work with, not with some artillery of 5 to 7 years old.
Old and outdated weaponry isn't needed so it's left behind. - +1 y
I told you in comparison to what the military has new and updated in storage now, the artillery in Afghanistan is outdated. We have better and more advanced artillery. No need for the old weaponry.
- +1 y
Sell it for what? Peanuts. Do Afgan forces even have the money to buy it? Besides the point even selling it won't be for much.
It's used and old artillery, no military force is going buy used up artillery, but rather buy something new and modern. - +1 y
The entire world disagrees with you, but if you need to be the good liberal you are, then believe it. Those rifles last for decades, and instead of destroying them like Trump suggested, Joey gave them to the terrorists. Oh, and I'm sure you're not smart enough to know that China and Russia are studying and reverse-engineering our drones and fighter jets that Joey gifted the terrorists.
Nice try. - +1 y

No, you do NOT leave 23 of the best fighter jets in the world for the enemy. You load them with C-4 and blow them to bits. I wish you Trump haters could up your game. This is getting embarrassing.
Joey left the terrorists 22,000 Humvees.![Why did biden leave 85 billion dollars of US military equipment behind in Afghanistan?]()
Biden did this because his boss told him to. 90 generals have came forward and asked Joey to step down and resign as commander in chief.

and i make it clear that despite the fact i often agree with them... that's as far as it goes for me.
