That’s supposedly military aid to the Afghan government, but since the Afghan military was too cowardly and corrupt to actually USE the equipment, it now belongs to the Taliban. That military aid and money should have NEVER been given Afghans in the first place, but I guess the military contractors made their billions on it, so that makes it all worth it, right?

Going into Afghanistan we knew that the ANF (Afghan National Army) would be as potent as our puppet troops in Iraq- nothing but a bunch of useless cowards unwilling to fight, so we left nothing behind of actual military value.

Since the the Tailband have no clue what is involved supporting and repairing a Blackhawk helicopter- and because they have no access to parts, they will sell them. Fine.

Remember that we had a sailor destroy a $2 billion dollar Wasp-class amphibious assault ship in San Diego. Big deal. We have seven others. In point of fact it was an obsolete class any way, so who cares?

We're not talking abut a nation where a the loss of a single ship or a few helicopters is a catastrophe. We simply build new ones and move on.

Although hopeful, there is no one who imagined that the ANF would put up any sort of a fight. The ANF puppet troops , who were more interested in looking at porn than fighting, were recognized as being useless from day one. This is why getting out of Afghanistan is not a disaster, it's blessing. The Soviets realized the same thing back in 1989. The Afghans are worthless fighters whose loyalties go where ever the prevailing wind directs them. Worthless remains the best way to describe troops who won't fight to defend woman and children.

One of the greatest challenges in Afghanistan was logistics.

Those black hawks will need avionics faults fixed, replacing various electronics kit, unless direct support from manufacturer it will not get repaired.

That 85 billion will have included the support for the platforms, without support, those platforms become expensive ‘Christmas trees’.
