I agree. He's not the one putting his body at risk, he doesn't get a vote. The choice belongs entirely to the person who is pregnant
I don’t think a man should decide if a woman should carry a child. That is a choice only a woman can make it’s her body!!
A woman shouldn't decide if a man pays child support for 18 years. It's his money!
I feel it should be a mutual design it's really important but to too, Frankly I couldn't get abortion so I use birth control and or condoms
Wow common sense! This is rare.
Right!
Girl gets final say but I think unless the guy was some rando nobody, they should talk about it. Tbh this should be a conversation before busting in the nana
A man should not have a say in the abortion decision, but he should have the choice to "financially abort" by walking away.
He should have an opinion but not the final decision.
Exactly, I think people are getting so worked up over the question that they are overlooking a big issue in it all.
"Who has to live with the choice?"
For a guy it just, "oh dodged that bullet," IF THEY WANTED the abortion to happen. While we have to live with the fact that part of us, our child is gone.
No matter what religious dogma you want to bring up or what concept of rights you follow that fact remains.
Exactly! And if only one person gets the final say why on earth should it be the mans decision! He should absolutely be entitled to voice his opinion on it but should he have the final choice? Absolutely not. The final choice should always come down to the person carrying the fetus.
Yeah, he can say what he thinks but, end of the day it's 100% her choice.
Absolutely!
Then he should be able to opt out for anything related to the baby, including child support.
Her body, her choice, her consequences.
Yes, and a woman get's no choice of whether he's fiscally responsible, since she can abort or unilaterally put to adoption, and therefore can chose to give away her rights and responsibilities.
it should always be her choice, her body her choice. the man has no right to what a woman wants to do with her body. even if it is his baby. the child is in the woman's body and the body of she must be for her to decide.
No, because the child is half his creation and the state will force him to pay for the child for the next 20 years, perhaps longer.
The guy should get a say but ultimately you are right, the final decision should be the woman's.
Well then the woman shouldn't be entitled to financial support from the dad, cause it's her choice not his right?
The lady has full say whether or not to get an abortion but at least get the man's opinion as part of the deciding factor. Plus, the guy should pay for it.
I agree. That is the present state of the law and is unlikely to change in the near future.
If he wants to keep the "baby", there should be a contract for that and the mother won't have anything to do with the "baby". The contract will make it HIS fetus but of course it's gonna cost. Otherwise, she'd be free to abort whenever she wants.
If a woman didn't want a man to have a say in his child, she shouldn't have risked getting pregnant, even if that risk is very small.
they'll never take responsibility for anything brother. It drives me nuts but I'm glad to hear more and more men saying the same thing. This is why I will never marry a western woman.
He should only get a say about keeping the baby.
Like if he wants to keep his child, she should respect that or else stop opening her legs for guys.
my wallet my choice, also the baby is a renter in the body so its not quite "her" body anymore at that point
No, he should have a choice. How would you feel if you wanted to have a baby and the other person decided "lol no I'm going to kill it instead fuck you"
Maybe this is a discussion to have early on in a relationship then, so you know you're on the same page when it comes to how an accidental pregnancy will be handled
@Inexpensivefurniture pointless discussion considering men have no say.
What I mean is, if you know you want any unplanned pregnancies to be carried to term, and your partner knows that if she becomes pregnant she will have an abortion, maybe you two aren't compatible and should find partners who want the same things you do
@Inexpensivefurniture what a great idea, now what about the women that lie.
Lying or not being sure what you want is a risk in any relationship
@Inexpensivefurniture cool, you said something completely redundant and avoided the point entirely.
The baby is half is property. If they divorced she wouldn't get all the property (well most of it) so why does she get to kill his half ownership?
Why are some of you women so eager to kill babies? You sound like fucking psychopaths the way you talk about it. There's people in prison I'd trust before some of you.
Yes, but at the same time the laws surounding his responsibility to provide need to change. Far too many women use pregnancy on purpose to trap a man.
I agree 100%! But depending on their relationship I do believe he should be able to voice his opinion or concerns 😊
I will agree I'd you also agree thst he isn't required to support it..
Your body your choice. His wallet his choice. Otherwise if you're in a committed relationship it should be a joint decision..
Utter stupid decision if implemented. Then otherwise also holds why on earth did u involve him had he not done that u would not be there carrying for 9months seems you are an underage
Generally, Until women gain the ability to replicate on their own without sperm, then no. The only exception is if the man is no longer a part of the picture.
So long as I can walk away and not have to pay you a cent? Fine by me.
I agree completely. Everyone want things to get better and improve then just mind your own business.
Yes, absolutely. The idea of anyone but the one carrying the baby getting a legal say in it, is insane.
If the man doesn't have the legal say on abortion then he should be able to opt out of child support for a child he didn't want.
Disagree. A man should have as much right as the mother who is carrying his son or daughter to protect it.
it’s a woman’s body it’s her choice, but it’s also my money my choice 🤷♂️ if i don’t want to support it i shouldn’t have to if she gets prego and keeps it against my will.
In that case we should have a financial choice in that i guess.
Nope totally disagree since it was his SPERM that got the woman pregnant so he deserves some rights
Should get a say but needs to be worked out together
If a father has no say in the abortion of his child, the mother should have no say if the father pays child support if he chooses not to.
We should at least be asked. Being given a chance to speak our mind about it would take away from any potential pain or anger after finding out.
No but he should be able to opt out of all responsibilies when the women decided to have it. Just like in the Netherlands.
That's a thing in The Netherlands?
Screw that. If the lady doesn't want to carry the little parasite inside her, she shall terminate it.
Only if you agree that women have no say on having their new born circumcised
agree , i am confirmed 110% infertile so there is no way i can get women pregnant ,
I agree. Men should have no say. Women should have no say either. Abortion should be illegal.
He shouldn't have to pay if you choose to kero the kid
More women have to learn that they will get pregnant from sex with no protection, it's not hard to understand.
they know, they just dont care.
Depends am I going to get a choice on weather or not I have to pay child support?
If they had sex they have to decide together if they keep it or not.
It is his baby too
Abortion is murder, and doing it against the wishes of the father is even more heinous.
Well, he kinda made it happen, so I think he should still be heard
But, also sometimes people are DASUHATETERU so, maybe. I don’t know
If he doesn't get a say in the decision about abortion, then he shouldn't have to pay if she decides to keep it.
I totally agree ! And men shouldn't be responsible in any way to that child ever , not financially ether.
I think his opinions matters as he also has some emotions attached and would want the best of his loved once
If the mother doesn't want the child the father should get a chance to raise it
Te man should have a say. After all it is his child also.
HAD MY EX TELLING ME HE WANT TWINS WITHOUT ASKING ME FIRST, SOUND CRAZY
He should have a say in it. In case she keeps it, he should provide for her and the baby.
and as you pointed out it's still technically his baby which he helped create. she didn't create it all on her own
if she doesn't want it then let him get full parental rights when the child is born
But what if she isn’t confortable carrying the baby for 9 months.
@Lyrem_ if she tried pulling that shit with me and my unborn child her ass would be either behind a court room being sued or at the bottom of an ocean with cement boots on
@Lyrem_ the only way i'd ever be ok with her not carrying the baby to term is if it endangered her life or she could die giving birth to that child. if it was any other reason her own selfish sick stupid reason for not wanting to keep the child then all hell would break loose with her
@Lyrem_ if she was raped or incest then she can have an abortion as well
Eh even if u were ro take her to court its HER right. Thats what the law says. Bc the law recognizes its her body.
Women have the right to get an abortion but men also have the right to their hard earn money not being taken away as well.
Well you allow a man to get you pregnant. 99% of women can get pregnant without a man
How do they do that exactly? A turkey baster and a bowl of cum? LOL

If she doesn't want him to have any say then she should sign away his responsibilities
