That is a very complicated question.
A part of him is inside her.
Ideally they would discuss and arrive at a mutual decision.
The woman has to carry the burden and risk during pregnancy , but once the baby arrives in the world, it legally has two parents and they would both be responsible for caring, loving and supporting the child.
There are many situations where the guy should have no say, particularly if the woman has been raped.
I wish there were an easy answer to this. The important point is to avoid unwanted pregnancy in the first place where possible.

@Anonymous,
You could have used a condom. You could have pulled out. You could have had a hand job. You could have had a blowjob. You made a decision to stick your dick in her and cum in her pussy. I'd say you made your decision. Now man up and own it. Every decision comes with consequences. A man accepts accountability for his decisions. If you haven't learned that by age 36-45, you probably never will. - 9 mo
The time to choose is before you screws.

Anonymous(45 Plus)9 moHe should have a right. It’s his child too. If not then the man should be able to wipe his hands of the child if she keeps it but he doesn’t want it. No child support, no nothing. Thats like telling people they shouldn’t have a say in a lot of things because they don’t have said item, like guns, or pets, or cars, etc, etc. Women shouldn’t be allowed to vote for them because they could potentially vote a politician who will end up de dog men to war in a draft. Women don’t get drafted. A man should have every right to have a say in an abortion.

I don't have a yes or no answer. This is a complicated question. Many factors to consider. But men are most known, according to stats, to have a tendency to leave even if they wanted the child, and then the woman has the burden on her. And it's also not the man's body that has to suffer through pregnancy, and not to mention the pain and suffering during birth. And then the recovery process after your vagina got ripped open and still the man has no remorse and still want it to function after just two weeks. Maybe one day technology will allow a fetus transplant and then men who legit want the kid can carry the child and push the baby out through their d'ck to where it rips open and needs to be sawn shut again, and raise the child by himself.
Opinion Owner9 mo@CorneliaUSA women act as if they’re getting pregnant everyday of their life. A lot of them don’t even want kids. I think where a lot of women go wrong is having children for a man outside of wedlock. Maybe they should get married first then have a baby after a few years. Yes I get that some men will still leave, but a look women leave their family as well because they’re not happy, they’re bored. This isn’t a one way street.
- 9 mo
We are not pregnant all our life. But the DAMAGE does last for life. If oopsie outside of marriage, even if they are boyfriend and girlfriend, then she should do as she wishes. Inside of marriage - this has room for discussion but should have been discussed BEFORE marriage.
Opinion Owner9 mo@CorneliaUSA men destroy their bodies as well to provide the society we live in. Yes not all men do it just the same as all women don’t get pregnant or don’t want to get pregnant.
- 9 mo
Exactly how does getting a child destroy a man's body?
Opinion Owner9 mo@CorneliaUSA men destroy their bodies by building society. The heavy jobs, road work, construction, oil rigs, etc.
- 9 mo
You are comparing preaches and apples. We are talking about babies - not road work.
Opinion Owner9 mo@CorneliaUSA both require destroying one’s body.

9 moThe question of the century.
Did he help make it?
If you gave birth would he help support it?
If you abort would he help pay for the abortion?
If you answer yes to any of these questions than it’s my opinion he should have a say so on the matter.00 Reply - 853 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
m 9 moHe automatically has an opinion and a responsibility because a woman and a man were both there for this intercourse, they were both aware of the implications, both aware of a potential pregnancy.
But he can't constrain a woman to interrupt or not this pregnancy because he has no legitimate claims over her body as she's a person, not a property.
00 Reply No, her doesn't.
Depending on the situation (i. e. a couple in a relationship), then I believe he should at least be consulted, but the ultimate decision rests with the mother.
Her body, her choice.
If he wanted her to keep it, but she chooses not to, that's her decision. All he can do is choose how he reacts to that decision.
00 Reply- 1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
9 moLegally no. If they’re a couple, then I think he should have a say, but it’s still her decision in the end. If it’s just a hookup, then no, he shouldn’t have a say. Fortunately very few guys in the hookup scene want kids that way anyway.

9 moIf he wants a child and she doesn't, he can offer to take full custody of the child if she is willing to carry to term. If she isn't, he can wait till he gets a uterus and carry one to term on his own.

Anonymous(25-29)9 moif a man can't have a say in abortion, the woman can't have a say in child support
though it's not as if stating a man shouldn't have a say is gonna stop them from speaking their mind
how are the pro-aborts gonna force men to keep their mouth shut anyway? through physical force? lol good luck
seriously though, what are they gonna do about it?

9 moHe doesn't get a say but should probably at least inform him depending on if he is a genuinely good dude. i would find it pretty fucked up if she had the abortion without telling that good dude about it. If he's not a good dude and i a dead beat then she would be ok not telling him.
But ultimately she should always be the one to decide to keep it or not.
00 Reply 3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. A woman has several choices. Abortion, child support or not even telling the sperm donor. I am sure that carrying a fetus around for nine months isn’t the most fun.
A man doesn’t have any right by law. To tell the woman what to do. At this time. But he should have some. Since that fetus is half his!00 Reply
9 moHe sure must as it is his child as well. You can't kill a fetus just because it is "inconvenient" to you. And in general abortion is murder and must be only be examined as a choice if the pregnant is very sick due to pregnency and her life is at risk

10 Reply 1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No way. Her body her choice. Men already had their choice on if they wanted a kid when they decided not to pull out. That was the man's moment of his body his choice.

00 Reply Biologically, both people create a pregnancy — but when it comes to abortion, the woman carries the physical and emotional burden, so ultimately, the legal right rests with her.

9 moIf abortions are to be legal. he should have a say, because it's his baby too.
17 Reply- 9 mo
It's his baby when there is a baby, otherwise abortion and infanticide would not be different concepts
- 9 mo
@Maybe_Maybe_not Half the DNA that conceives that child is his, therefore it's his even before it's born. Doesn't matter what the law says, because laws are subject to change. Some states consider killing a pregnant woman a double homocide. Why? if they are different concepts.
The definition of murder is the killing of a human by another human, which also is applicable to abortion. The difference is, one is legal, and one is not. The suffix, "- cide", just means killings, and there are terms used for different types of killing, like infanticide, but they are all killing. Matricide vs Patricide, are literally the same thing. One is just killing of a mother, and the other a father, but when it comes to the killing part, there is no difference.
This kind of argument you are using is a mere cope, or justification for killing a human life before it's born. Easier to do if you can convince yourself killing them before they are born is different than when they are born. - 9 mo
I'm quite aware that you don't trust laws or ethics that do not fit your views. I'm the same. Just from the other side of the problem.
- 9 mo
@Maybe_Maybe_not Don't straw man what I said. I never said I don't trust laws or ethics. My trust, or lack thereof, of the law, is completely irrelevant to the point.
- 9 mo
All right, if laws are irrelevant, then there's still ethics, where do yours come from?
- 9 mo
@Maybe_Maybe_not Do you not know what a straw man argument is? because that is literally what you are doing. I never said laws are irrelevant.
