Pro choice people, when does the unborn turn from a parasite to a human being?

I just want to know when to let my pro choice partner know that I'm pregnant.
I don't want my baby which is a blessing to me to be viewed as a non human being by his/her daddy.

In my opinion a baby inside you is defined as human the instant you want to define it that way. This goes for absolutely everyone, but has a threshold, after a baby can survive outside the womb, for which all are human regardless of how the woman defines it.

But none of this alters the fact that there are no circumstances where anyone has then right to commandeer your body for their own survival. This protects you from rich people snatching you off the street if they need new lungs or whatever. No exception is to be made even if the beneficiary is a baby.

Its a very loaded question for me. I have always stood by women and men for the choice. So it makes me pro choice. But i believe life starts at conception.

The dilemma with your SO, has to be talked about. He is pro choice as you say, there is no knowing when he believes it changes till you ask. Based on my view and most laws, its a spread from conception to 5 months.

Another thing i will say is that if he is pro choice, you waiting till after that perceived change if taking away his side of the choice.

As i always say the choice is yours to do with what you want. But if he is pro choice i believe he would want the choice himself. If you take the choice away from him you might lose him based on that alone.

He might surprise you whether good or bad.

When I ask them on which day it becomes a human being they get confused as they know one day before the day they set up would change the whole essence of the unborn.

Exactly. You can't pin them down on that because even they don't know. The vast majority of them simply parrot what they've heard. Many simply accept, what others who hold similar views, tell them without looking into why they think that way. Hit them with serious critical thinking on the subject, and they start flip flopping.

You're correct - it benefits them. It's a convenient way to get out of responsibility. There are multiple reasons we've all heard about why a woman "can't" be pregnant (I can't afford it, I don't have time for a baby, etc...). Ultimately it boils down to selfishness and complete irresponsibility on their part.

If ya don't wanna be pregnant, don't have unprotected sex. Preferably, don't have sex until you're married! There are about a dozen different ways to PREVENT pregnancy. Abortion is, in my opinion, THE worst way to deal with an unwanted pregnancy.

I don't believe it's ever a parasite, parasites aren't essential for a species.

But I believe it becomes a citizen with rights after is viable outside the mother, which is around 5 months but it's not a time thing, but a developmental thing, so it's different for any given baby.
