Everyone talks about the government dictating the mandate to the people but the reason we had a revolution is so people can have a say in what the government does. You want a country where the government doesn't listen to the masses you can go to China (where they let a few people engage in wet markets and put the rest of the population at risk in doing so).

My problem is why only the covid vaccine, and literally no other vaccine? Why only mandate a vaccine for a disease that has a %99 survivability when we have time proven effective vaccines for diseases that are drastically more deadly? And why mandate a vaccine that isn't really a vaccine, as it neither prevents you from getting or transmitting covid?
The covid vaccines are vaccines, they stimulate your immune system to be able to recognise the virus, and they reduce your chances of getting ill or dying from the virus by an order of magnitude. Yes, it's still possible to pass it on during your (shorter and less dangerous) period of infection, which is why the CDC recommends vaccinated people still wear masks in crowded places.
In my state, you cannot go to public school without the CDC recommended vaccine schedule, including the HPV (in my opinion Fake) at age 12. That's called a mandate. Nearly all private schools here follow the state guidelines (which are the CDC guidelines). Religious exemptions are no longer allowed (squashed about 5 years ago), so the state is effectively mandating vaccines.
Sure, there's one loophole - you can homeschool. But that's discriminatory because many kids are mentally challenged and incapable of being homeschooled because they cannot pass the exams to pass.
My point is that MMR and other vaccines have been mandated for decades in many states.

Calling it "published", when it's just been put online is a bit of a stretch, usually there's a peer review process.

Except she ignores her other stated aim of a vaccine: "To protect the vaccinated person against the illness."
She also says: "Under Delta, natural immunity is much more protective than vaccination." which is all very well, except she's just finished telling us that being vaccinated isn't protection against infection, so getting infected while vaccinated would presumably provide that wonderful "natural immunity" she talks about, just with a lower risk of dying.
If 90% of people dying in car accidents were wearing their seatbelts, it doesn't mean seatbelts don't work.
Covid has an over %99 survivability, that means that any increase in survivability is negligible at best, and because of covids almost perfect survivability there's no way to prove that any individual who was vaccinated, caught covid and survived wouldn't have survived without the vaccine.
Of the US cases that have come to a conclusion (death or recovery), 2% have died.
The Delta variant is more transmissable, and more deadly than Alpha.

My purpose was to prove that mandating covid vaccines is pointless because they're ineffective. If you want to take the vaccine, be my guest. But mandating it is stupid. If covid was more deadly, like virtually any number of other diseases, then mandating a vaccine would make more sense.
Like I said, it's not over 99%, and when you're talking about hundreds of millions of people, you're talking about millions of deaths. And that is a bad thing.
Like I said, I am by no means saying you shouldn't take it. Just that mandating it is stupid as the difference between cases amongst vaccinated and unvaccinated is virtually the same.
