Do you agree that nerds who were bullied get the last laugh and not their bullies, since the nerds usually get great jobs, etc?

The bullies made fun of them, etc making the nerds feel like shit but the nerds are the ones who usually get the last laugh, since they are the ones who usually end up happier with better careers, etc than their bullies.

It assumes the bullied are bullied for being smart and so will do well in life, when thats not really the case. I was bullied and I'm a dumb ass, and a lot of people who I know that where badly bullied have some kind of learning disability and are defiantly doing badly later in life.
Also most people who where bullied in school have been left with some mental scaring which, yeah, doesn't help with success

I never though of nerd as implying smart but fair enough, I don't think it changes my answer tho. Factors like wealth and background will effect your success more than being smart unfortunately. Its also not helped that careers for life don't really exist anymore, so it might be true for a few months but it won't always be true, life just isn't that linear unfortunately

No Karma doesn't exist, not really. Some people who where bullied will do well in life, some won't. But there is nothing that makes good things happen to good people and no metric to even judge what doing well in life really means. All we can do is fine are own happiness doing what makes us happy

Sounds like some kind of revenge fantasy to me. Sometimes bad people do well. I know very smart guys with good jobs who don’t have much luck with the ladies. Those types try to chat my girl up bragging about all of that stuff and she laughs about their efforts.

I was one of the nerds also in school also. But I didn’t get bullied either because I boxed from the age of about 8 so I could also fight.

You were clearly a former bully and it shows how you said how your wife laughs at them, etc. The way you responded shows it. You keep saying it won't happen. I am saying if it does happen and at times I did hear it happen, when a nerd ends up being their boss or successful and the bully ends up being a drug addict or whatever, and the nerd ended up getting their revenge that way. I heard real cases like that. I wonder what you would think if you heard of real stories of where nerds got their revenge? You probably would still defend the bully cause you are one.

Well, I'd point you to dictionary definitions but in essence a description is merely explaining the situation. A defense is trying to get people to agree the situation should remain as it is.

Indeed, if one is aiming to change a situation they very first step is to understand it. To that end, for practical purposes, a description is more an offense than a defense.
