The "smartest" people are always the dumbest. Marx is no exception.
His ideas are absolutely evil.

I disagree with his ideas. Bt I also understand that his ideas of communism - in theory - vary widely from how "communism" has been practiced around the world. In practice, "communism" is a code name for totalitarianism and that is not what Marx espoused.
I wish i could say that i was surprised to see so many with a negative view of Marx considering that we now live in a time where it is pretty obvious that you can count on one hand the amount of generations of humans we have left before machines are more capable than humans in every respect.
So clearly the capitalist systems we have been using and their associated societies cannot exist for very much longer and if we dont develop a suitable replacement its going to get very ugly and a lot of extremely darkside shit is going to happen.
Now Marx no doubt has many failings and you are never going to be able to dictate a one size fits all which works perfectly for everyone, which is one of the core arguments for capitalism. But he is clearly right about some things and they are real problems, so even if you dont like his solutions, the problems exist regardless.
Just another idiot in a long line of utopian philosophers. Also none of the communist countries ever achieved his communist state. Really, closer to his socialist state which was supposed to eventually become communist.
Neutral for now, only because I don't know much about him. But I definitely do have a negative opinion on modern day Marxism (aka Social Justice and Critical Race Theory).
it is an economic model that in theory, sounds good. But it is diametrically opposite of human nature and will corrupted by evil people for selfish reasons and will always fail in a real world scenario.
I believe he was a man who had a great idea but did not notice how people would abuse it.
He wasn't a bad man, and he didn't have a bad vision, but it just couldn't work out with how our morality works these days.
Overwhelmingly negative. I can't think of a single nice thing that I could ever say about him. He was just an awful person all round, and just think of how much better the world would now be if he had never existed.
The truth is he was like many other 19th century hucksters who tried to develop an all-encompassing "ism". And for someone who proclaimed has Atheism his writings are peppered with Jewish rabbinical mysticism.
Negative. The guy had a bowl of cereal in his head.
Took a philosophy class of Marxist concepts.
Took me 30 credit hours of economics to comprehend his concepts.
Negative, but still you should not ignore him. It’s very good to know and study him and his tactics.
Negative. I'd probably be shot because of him if he was in charge. Why? Because I own my land.
He was a racist who called the Polish and Jews subhumans.
Positive, for communists, Negative for Imperialists
he's history to me...
Do you see his right hand? Do your research on this hand gesture
Neutral. He had good and bad ideas.
He's delusional.
He is a misunderstood lunatic
