Why do you perceive everyone driving faster than you as an idiot and those who are quicker than you as a moron when?

Because if I'm already going 5-10 over the limit, they're going way too fast. And it's not the driving fast in itself, it's when they weave in and out, cut people off, drive too fast for conditions that makes me think they're an idiot and because it can cause accidents and cost people their lives... Last Thursday on the way to work there was a semi truck on fire on the freeway, why? He was going too fast and hit the overpass bridge, got ejected from his truck (which means he most likely wasn't wearing seat belt)
And same day, on way home from work, look in rear view mirror and there's a pick up truck spinning like crazy, he must of spun around 5-7 times till he got his truck facing right direction but his tail end hit the concrete divider. How that didn't cause a pile up, it's a miracle because this was during rush hour traffic... Both of these accidents were avoidable if people would slow tf down and realize they're not the only people on the road...

Assuming that they are going past me at a significantly different speed then, and because I usually drive at or close to the speed limit, yes in that case they are an idiot. Speed limits are there for a reason. I have seen too many accidents caused by excessive speed to not think of them as idiots. This is especially true for areas where the limit is 40 mph or lower. I used to be an instructor for an advanced motorcycle group, the general rule was that when you have good good visibility and weather you obey limits up to 40, at 50 you do can do 55, at 60 you can do 70, at 70 you can do 85. You never go above those limits. I also think people who don't keep to the slow lane when on multi lane roads (left in the UK, right in the EU and US) are also idiots.

I don’t mind them going faster than me. The speed limit is set for the vehicles of highest risk. If a vehicle can safely drive at higher speeds and there are no animals or obstacles, typically not an issue. Highways without intersections during non traffic hours would be safest. I see issues with pedestrian safety if the driver does not assess that. The other issues are wild animals that can go through the windshield if the driver can't react in time

i dont perceive either of those things. The only people i think are idiots are people who drive slow in the left lane, people who keep switching lanes to not let you pass ( i believe these people mentally challenged) and people who signal at the last second. Several other things that make a person a terrible driver but those are just a few things.

Nah speed = aggression or impatience.
Erratic driving is the real problem. Expecting others to conform around them instead of them falling in line to the rules of the road, and common sense.
I don't care about slow that much if I can move past them.

The drivers that tailgate and cut people off are the idiots. Speed alone doesn't cause collisions, it is following too close, cutting people off, and not paying attention (usually while on a phone) that causes most collisions.

If I'm driving the limit, and I see someone racing by me, I just think to myself, better him than me, as far as a speeding ticket goes.
