Where I live, the average driver...

• Randomly uses turn signals every 3rd to 10th turn.
• Cannot merge.
• Has no idea how to use an on ramp or off ramp.
• Is driving distracted 50% of the time with a cheeseburger or phone in one hand.
• Thinks bald tires are OK in snow and ice because "I got all wheel drive".
• Panics when there is even a slight bend in the road.
• Rides their brakes constantly going downhill.
• Slows to a crawl at night or in the rain.
• Sits at green lights.
• Plugs the left lane going 30 mph slower than traffic.

None of that requires a PhD. Just a modest amount of attention and a basic understanding of how roads and cars are meant to work. So yeah, get on the roads here and witness just how stupid the average person really is.
