America is among the worst countries in the world. Not only is it something like 20th in the democracy index, but it imprisons more of it's population than North Korea and China put together, kills more civilians of other countries than any terror group and has among the most unequal societies around.
It's basically a crime, posing as a country.

They advertise it more than any other country so the people in the US (where i have lived all my life) truly believe that even though the majority of them haven't even traveled to any other states in their own county. They think they live in a free country, and they claim to be # 1 in most things. Just imagine, a baseball team here wins the final game and they are referred to as the World Champs! Same for Football! It is an illusion they have and the average "redneck American" thinks that the US soldiers are overseas to "defend freedom" LOL by killing lots of civilians! Look what they did in Iraq, Libya, and so on.
Whether or not you are “free” is debatable. But isn’t it ironic the so called “liberals” that supposedly want freedom for everyone favor free speech restrictions, censorship, mandates, don’t want parents teaching their kids, etc.
“ Google the “Lauden county” incident. This school was trying to be progressive by allowing boys who identify as girls use the girls bathrooms/lockerrooms. Sure enough there was a sexual assault incident and the school tried to COVER IT UP. When the victim’s father attended the school board meeting an activist said “his daughter is lying” and they said there are “no known incidents of sexual assault”’. He was rightfully furious and they ended up arresting him and trying to make him into the bad guy.
If you can’t acknowledge this then YOU are the lunatic. We now have school administrations who are covering sexual assaults just to protect their trans student policies. ”
It used to be a free country before we ended up with a new administration in the white house. We will never be free again like we used to be. It is really sad. We had a great country until January 2021. Now, it's a piece of shit and depressing!

As someone who lives in Iraq, you guys in the U. S are more free than you think. Here in Iraq, I can't say anything publicly about religion without consequences. You guys have the freedom to say whatever you want and the importance of that can't be overstated.

It is very apparent that we are less free than we grew up thinking we were… we were sold on a lie.
Or our country fundamentally changed. I look around and can even feel it in the air that we aren’t in the same country as we were, even 2 years ago.
Compared to others... yes. Do we have areas that need improvement? Absolutely, especially now that the left is trying to censor anything that doesn’t fit their agenda.
Honestly to me freedom is more of a point of view rather than we’re actually free. Real freedom to me anyway would mean lack of rules, society as a whole would be gone and it would be everyone for themselves. The U. S in terms of freedom is more so more options to choose from. Other countries like African countries do not have nearly as many options as we have today. So yea
It used to be free, but now our freedoms are being taken away… we don’t even have freedom of speech anymore… & they’re trying to take away our right to bear arms. It’s sad… the criminals have more rights than the law abiding citizens right now.
Less so, as our freedoms become more and more limited by the corrupt in the house & senate who only care about themselves and their financial doners instead of doing their damn job of making the country habitable and stable for all, regardless of financial worth.
I think America is a country myself and many others have fought for and even given there life for this country to be free. With that said since COVID hit I think that has changed somewhat, with the limitations people might be confusing health restrictions and freedom. The country is more confusing than it was before 2008 but a lot of things have changed.
Sadly USA has no great freedom beyond any other country , every country has laws and regulation , its talked about a lot , but its no different from anywhere else.. Other than wayyyyy too many unnecessary guns..
I think it's kinda the same as other countries. I think when they say America is a free country, they mean geopolitically. America is free to shit on other countries, exploit them and basically do what it wants as the global dominating country.
They're considered mostly free according to freedom index my country is currently the most free with a score or 8.88 on human freedom and the usa is 8.46 which is not in the top 10.
Actually after talk to somebody from your country I found out some eye-opening information that weed is more legal over here in the states that it is over there by you even Europe it's not legal most parts of the European continent I found that very strange again with the parallel analysis a very few places guns are legal extremely very few we're not perfect here in America we have police brutality but we have the right to replace an even kick out the government if we need to you guys don't have that right you barely even have the right for medical marijuana I understand you want to carry the labor narrative but I've learned to look at the bigger picture and when I found was quite shocking after talking to a NZ I ask myself the other day why is weed more legal over here as opposed to over there you don't have freedom when your Prime Minister can shut down dissent on the other side that's not Freedom that's 1984.
I was trying to respect your confidentiality but that's okay that's your choice I know about referendum we have the same problem here in the South it took awhile to legalize medical marijuana here
Taxation is always slavery which is the opposite of freedom. Not not mention all the other rules and regulations. But at least the slaves still get to own firearms, until the Stockholm syndrome kicks up a notch and they're willing to give them up.

What does freedom mean to you? Freedom from what?
No one is completely free, ever. If you live in a country like the US, you get a lot that you may take for granted. None of it is free. But you are as free as you can get and still live in a society with all its benefits.
Every country is free. They just don't know it, so the appearance of things suggest that they are not. That's a really deep statement. I'd be surprised if anyone understand it.
being able to complain that you have no freedom 24/7, 365 days of the year, on all and every platform out there... is the most ironic sign that you have quite much freedom

Supercutebutt has her head up her ass.
This is the response I wanted to give her:

In terms of other First World countries it is 17th in the global freedom index.

Yeah but no one cares about New Zealand except the UK. But that can be good too, as the less attention you draw the better off you are.
@Daniela1982 irrelevant
U have NO right to bear arms (weapons), U have to BEG the police for a permit so does the press, thats NOT freedom, that's mercantilism.
en.wikipedia.org/.../Right_to_keep_and_bear_arms
So is your razzberry sorbet.
^^^^^ but this is her post so it relevant to her!
@yofuknutz having the right to carry a weapon ≠ freedom. This isn't the old west.
Yes it is it's unfortunate that your country has brainwashed you very unfortunate but that's what happens when you elect a female
Jealous much
You couldn't pay me enough I used to have respect for your country until she got elected now I feel sorry for your country
@yofuknutz mm sure sure

@yofuknutz you literally talked to me about that. I told you it was a referendum... The people of the country voted no to legalizing weed.
I was trying to respect your confidentiality but that's okay that's your choice I know about referendum we have the same problem here in the South it took awhile to legalize medical marijuana here
@yofuknutz medical marijuana is legal here. This was about recreational.
As well as here in the South but it wasn't easy
en.wikipedia.org/.../...nabis_by_U.S._jurisdiction
Closest state that is recreational legal is Virginia it's a day's drive from my house

It's not that American gives it people more freedom than any other country in the world
But it is a free country compared to China and Saudi Arabia
