Unvaccinated people are significantly more likely to spread the disease than vaccinated people in 4 of the 5 strains. So it matters because we live in a society. Same reason I don’t support drunk driving.

I don't care, and I don't know why it's so important to some folks either. The protection offered by the vaccines available in my country is not guaranteed because at least 6 people here, including a couple of doctors working in the hospitals, have gotten themselves fully vaccinated and afterwards died from the coronavirus.
No vaccine ever works 100% of the time. But without vaccines, odds are you would have died of measles before you were 20. Or crippled by polio. Now both those things can still happen, but it's SO rare that you probably haven't heard of anyone who has. But guess what? I've heard of plenty of people who died from covid. Some were relatives. None of that would be the case if we had herd immunity, but some pansies out there are too gullible and/or afraid to even wear a mask let alone get the vaccine. Most of the disinformation is being fed to them by foreign governments of all things, Russian bots on facebook and other places just putting fake information out there because at least half of the population is less than average intelligence. Seems to be working.
Because that is what the government psychopaths and mainstream media tell people to believe. However, only for COVID, not other vaccinations.
The truth is, if the COVID vaccination worked, there would be no reason for the vaccinated to fear the unvaccinated.
I never feared the unvaccinated or even getting covid, I worry about giving it to others who aren't as healthy as I am and who would die. Not everyone can get the vaccine, and even some who do will still get sick. That's how ALL vaccines have always worked. You realize they only count as "vaccinated deaths" 2 weeks after they get the second dose? Some people say well because of the variants they want everyone vaccinated but that still makes no sense because the situation remains the same. I happen to believe the shot is bad and does nothing to benefit anyone and they have no right to try to force it on others.

Violent crime rate has been increasing steadily since 2014 up by 13% in 2019. But the more likely factor in the dramatic increase in 2020 is social changes because of the pandemic not because of a vaccine that's just illogical. No vaccine is 100% effective at stopping the spread of viruses. The reason why you don't see viruses like polio is because majority of people are vaccinated for it. When unvaccinated and exposed to covid 19 your body has no protection barrier. It will take in all that viral load. Which will cause you to get incredibly sick and infectious. More virus in your body = more virus you can spread.
When vaccinated you have a few barriers, when taking in a large viral load it will be stopped by your bodies immune response at multiple points. If enough of the virus makes it through those barriers you can still get sick but its much less. Instead of 1000 viral load for example you have 300. Which also means you have less in your system to spread onto others yay.
Because you're more likely to catch and get seriously Ill when you are unvaccinated, the virus can mutate in your body. Which is how the vaccines become less and less effective and why we would need more and more boosters. Basically unvaccinated people are the ones ruining it for everyone else.

I’ll spell something out for you also…. when the virus “gets through” your shot as you’re claiming, you’ve helped weed out the viruses that are stopped by the immunity gained from the shots, and selecting for those who can avoid that immunity. So you’re, in fact, increasing the odds of a mutation that can evade the vaccine over someone who gets the virus without being vaccinated.

No it doesn't... A vaccine can be 90% effective (as the polio vaccine is at 2 doses) and be eradicated because of herd immunity. If 99/100 people are vaccinated it's incredibly unlikely that the 1 person would catch the virus.

As I said before if 99/100 people are vaccinated that 1 person is incredibly unlikely to get the virus. Theoretically people can still get polio, but it's unlikely as majority of people are vaccinated for it. It's like measles, MMR vaccine is 95% effective, it was almost eradicated with no cases happening in years but then a bunch of people decided to not get their kids vaccinated for it and we now have an outbreak.
So you derived you're percentage from an average. You also have to consider that the polio Vaccine is far different from what Moderna, Astra Zenica, and Pfizer are offering.
