Don't label me with your mindsets. That is a term you never ever needs to call me before I used it myself. Which I never will. My advice is to remove all labels when you speak to people and let them decide which they want to apply and from there decide if your willing to grant them the label.
It's not a term I use, but I don't particularly mind people using it to describe me. I find the whole concept of the word "cisgender" rather silly. Like, why do we need any word besides "normal" to describe someone who identifies with social constructs associated with the sexual anatomy they had at birth?

Because as a trans person if I call people who aren't trans normal I'm going to feel bad about myself. That makes sense right?
I get the logic, but why is "normal" something you would ever aspire to? Rather than encouraging you to be normal, I would rather encourage you to be you. What do you identify as?
Normal is something I aspire to be because I hate being trans, it ruined my life and I don't think I'll ever get to be happy like a cis woman. the more normal I appear to be the better I will be treated. I identify as a woman.
Calling them ciswomen isn't going to change the way you feel about yourself. You have to get to a place of self acceptance on your own. It's a tough road but it's one worth traveling.
Itās totally uncalled for. We are females and males. We do not need another name to define us, Trans people should just call themselves trans if thatās what they are.

I call myself trans and when I have to say someone isn't trans i say cis
I guess this term is mainly used by the LBGTQ community and it makes things a little easier for you guys when identifying someone. Itās not necessary for the majority of us straight people.
For the LBGTQ Community. Normal people do NOT label as such. If u were born a male (birth gender) and you are dating a male you are not heterosexual period. You are a male and will always be you can change your pronouns to she her etc you were not born a female so therefore you are not heterosexual.
Well that's simply not true lol. You can believe what you want though, and I'll continue believing what I want. I don't know how you expect me to call myself a woman and a gay man at the same time lmao.
Iām sorry but you are not a woman you are a Trans women to be correct. Youāre not gay because you are trans but you are in fact a male who dates males so you are definitely not heterosexual
Its a stupid term iām just a female lmao. I am not offended if someone calls me ācisā or even thinks im a guy I donāt care. But at the end of the day iām just a female/woman i am not gonna use other extra dumb terms that are created for god knows why. Reasons idc for. I am a female. I am a woman. Period.

Also to add on i see you telling other females its just a āfactā about you accept the label. You better respect our rejection of the labels cause we could both disrespect labels so if you want respect you have to accept other people donāt like this ālabelā and they donāt want it, again period.
Cis isn't needed because a real male or female doesn't need any prefix. The implication that they do is just a push to pretend that somehow transexuals are the same, but they're not. Maybe in 200 years there will be medical advances that allow a real sex change, but until that day, they do not exist. And even then, they will be artificial and will still need a prefix whereas real genders don't.
Nobody says cis makes anyone better or worse, but being trans doesn't turn you into the gender you imagine you want to be. In fact, you have no idea what it's like to be in the actual opposite sex's head. We're wired differently, you can see it on brain scans. Mens' brains are also about 10% larger, and we have areas focusing on different things. It's OK that we're different though.
You don't think like a woman either. Your ability to know how they feel is zero. They are different, their brains have different amounts of gray and white matter, different sizes for different structures, different hormones doing different things. You may be right that you don't think the same way as a typical man, that's obviously true, but you have zero idea how women feel so you can't possibly know if you feel like one. That'd be like saying you think like a parrot. How could you possibly know?
I know I think like a woman because I do. I would try to help you understand but I don't think you're interested in understanding me. Transphobes don't want to do anything but tell me I'm a man and I'm not entertaining them anymore. That being said you weren't disrespectful like other people you just want to make me uncomfortable by telling me I'm a man like transphobes.
But yeah I think and feel like a woman and I've been living as a girl for half my life (since 14) so I have a bunch of female experiences too.
I'm not being cruel to you I'm just telling you how most people who understand science believe. Transexuals are not the same, and I'm sorry this makes your life unhappy but it's true. You may really deep down think you know how biological women's minds work, but you literally have no way to possibly know. If you are a different gender than man, it's something other than woman. They are not the same as you are. You can never be one of them. But that doesn't mean you should decide you can't be happy. Odds are pretty good if you were born a woman, you would have found some other reason to be unhappy with yourself. That's the human condition. You are luckily living in a time where you can at least get cosmetic surgery done and maybe be able to pretend but that's all it really is. Because you can't know what a biological woman's life is like. I know the current trends are moving towards trying to tell everyone that transexuals are the same, but they're not and they shouldn't have to be. Why can't you be proud of who you really are? Until you choose to do that you'll never be happy, because no amount of pretending and comsetics will affect the way you judge yourself.
I'm not the same as a cis woman and I never said I was. But I am a woman. I'm not pretending anything. I'm me. Why are y'all like this? Like why are y'all so negative? Why do y'all talk down to us like you know me better than I do? I don't need cosmetic surgery, I transitioned as a child. "If I'm a different gender than man I'm not a woman" lol there's 2 genders.
Here I'm sick of y'all saying I'm a man pretending to be a woman. That's what insults me most. I'm just myself. Which is a woman. I don't do go out of my way to do anything just to pretend I'm a woman. I went out of my way to pretend to be a boy before I transitioned. But I don't go out of my way to be who I literally am.
You can't know what it's like to be a biological woman, it's physically impossible. It's not an insult, it's just a statement of fact. You may have a lot in common, but you're not the same. If someone were to tell you they're 100% sure they think the same way as a wolf, that doesn't mean they're right. They can't know what a wolf thinks like, can they? Your brain was developed and born with a certain amount of hormones and structures that are easy to identify even post-op, as not being the same as a female. That doesn't mean you're less of a person, you're not. But by insisting you are something doesn't make it true and it's only going to lead to a life of heartache if you try. If you choose to be a transexual female, then be one and be OK with the fact cis women are not the same. You don't get endless choices in the world, you can't choose to be tall and redheaded and blue eyed no matter how much you want, either, but people live with that all their lives. Maybe part of what makes you feel like you're not "the same" as everyone else, is your assumption that we don't all have the same kind of insecurities about things in our lives that aren't exactly the way we wish they were. EVERYONE in the world wishes something was a little different. But don't let yourself become depressed that you'll never be a cis female, because you'll just live a depressed life and nobody will give you a gold star at the end for your suffering. Try to find something about the real you that you like and want to improve. The transexual you if that's what you trully believe you are. But as long as you continue to believe you need to be the same as biological women to be valuable, you'll never be happy. You can't change who you are even with a new body. You have to choose happiness, because it doesn't happen for anyone automatically.
Let me ask a simple question, do you usually let people know you're not born female before flirting with them? If you do so and you don't feel like it's lying, keep in mind a lot of those guys still will. No good will come from a relationship that's not built on trust, and leaving something like that out is pretty crucial. Among other things, most guys want a family someday and they don't want to adopt. Granted, some women are also unable to have kids, but the responsible ones would also say so before beginning a relationship. There are just some things a straight man looks for in a woman that a transgender woman can never provide.
I literally never said I'm the exact same as a cis woman.
Most of what you're saying is factual but the fact that you feel the need to say it for no reason makes you an asshole and I'm not reading all that. You see how that makes sense right?
I don't flirt, but I'm not going to tell someone I'm trans the first conversation I have.
If you would actually like to speak with me you can do so in DM, you might be less condescending that way.
That's stupid 21st century liberal bullshit labels that are useless and redundant. I'm a man. A man is born with a dick. Every normal person knows this already, you don't have to put cis cisgender whatever the fuck that stupid bullshit is in front of it
Why canāt they just call us either a biological woman/man or just woman/man. Cis is just a term used by progressives and SJWs trying to demonize those who donāt identify as transgender or non-binary.

I'm neither progressive nor an SJW. I've never heard anyone use the word cis to demonize anyone. I don't like to use the term "biological" because it implies that you are superior to me because you're real while I'm like fake.
It certainly isn't an insult, so why would it bother me? There are so many new labels, who can keep up. I know who I am, people are just making up new terms to designate who I am.
"So many cis people have a problem with the word cis"
Yes, because it's used in a derogatory way by the LGBT zealots as if being cis was something terrible. Because the truth is that they hate people who aren't in their little cult, and cis people are what they hate the most. Mostly because we're the vast majority of the population, which annoys them absolutely.

What the fuck are you talking about? I have never used the word nor witnessed it being used in a derogatory manner. .
Y'all whine so much about a simple word imagine how y'all'd deal with actually being trans. Pitiful.
You want to know what people considered terrible? Wanting to be the opposite sex's. Now THAT gets you called derogatory shit.
Your whole rant makes no sense, but I guess that was to be expected. We'll talk when you'll find what's left of the clump of braincells you could call your brain. If there's anything left, which I'm not certain of.
What I think is ironic about this is that some people feel they have a right to create laws making it illegal to not refer to them by their "preferred pronoun", yet it is exactly those same people who make up terms like "cis" and and tell normal people they should like being called that. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I've never met a trans person who wants to make free speech illegal
Yeah if I was cis id probably hate LGBT people too. I'm conservative and Christian and disgusted by the left as much as the next person, I don't have many LGBT friends at all. But I'm also trans so when people talk as if I'm like that I have to speak up.
I don't mind it at all. Especially if it makes sense in the conversation. Where trans or other types are included and we're talking about it.
I don't feel the need to say cis woman/man every time though. Most often it's implied.

"Most often it's implied" I disagree but I see how you think that as a cis person. To me the word "woman" doesn't imply cis or trans because we're both women.
Wtf? So saying that i have xx chromosomes is offensive now? Its NOT superior! I was born as a female and you have transitioned to a female. You are a girl and im a girl as well.
Ok, so dont call me that. I honestly dont care. Look, im a firm believer in you can be whatever you want to be, but you are just being very irritating now. I have trans friends and im NOT transphobic. But how on earth is being born with XX chromosomes offensive?
The terms "biological" and "genetic" imply that you're more authentic, genuine, natural, real etc
If everyone talked like you then I might not have such a problem with those terms. But they remind me of why I've been treated horribly and will be until I die. Transphobes put such an emphasis on biology and chromosomes to justify being mean. Plus I can argue that im trans for biological reasons.
Look, im sorry that people treat you like you are not a human being with feelings. It must suck a lot. So *BIG HUGS* to you for being a strong person. I used biology to point out a mere fact. Why did you transition from a man to a woman? Because you felt like you born into a wrong body. You are comfortable being a woman. You WANTED to be a woman, and thats why you became a trans female. Nothing wrong with it. Do whatever makes you happy, but saying that biology is messed up, im sorry, but its best to end this conversation right here. Pointing out a fact is not offensive.
Thank you for your sweetness ā¤ļø But I'm not really offended by the terms "biological" or "genetic" just don't get why people get offended by cisgender and expect me to stop saying it and instead say terms I dislike.
Ans no, its just easier to say that you are trans instead of saying that others are cis. You get what i mean? This is a very sensitive subject and I know that trans people have been treated inhumane for years now. Stay strong. Just know that people are gonna say shit to you on the internet. I have faced racism on here and its terrible. But people won't mess with you irl because they know that they CANNOT get away with the shit they say/do to you. People are gonna be assholes on the internet because, well, anonymity allows them to do so. Dont take it to heart.
Don't really have a problem with the name itself... but the person uttering it is just announcing that they're one of those dumbfuck intersectional transgenderist feminists.

Wow way to stereotype. I'm a trans woman. I'm also conservative.
If you speak a different language than those you are trying to communicate with youāre not going to communicate very well. Itās common sense, but I guess you donāt have any of that.
It's fag slang. It's not what is in common usage in the English language to describe straight people. Itās like speaking ebonics. If you say dat bitch fly. Most people are going to be like, nah sheās standing on the ground and has no wings. Thatās why you talk like a fag and your shits all retarded, because you donāt know the difference.
It doesnāt matter what it means. If you want to communicate effectively with people, you have to speak their language. I can repeat this all day, but eventually youāll have to be moved to special education with the rest of the mentally handicapped.
Less than 1% of the population identifies as a transsexual. You are a linguistic minority. The overwhelming majority of people do not conform to the slang of you small social bubble. If you want to communicate effectively with everyone outside your safe space in a predominately English speaking country, then you need to speak common usage English. If you go to Germany, then try German. When in Rome... Don't speak fag.
See there you go talking like a fag again. You already said you were a transsexual man. If your culture continues down this path, in 20 years there will be groups of people that are trying to train the gay community how to speak proper English in order to land a job. They will be writing articles about how gay dialects hold the gay community back and leave them stranded in poverty. This is already a major issue in the Black community where parents failed to graduate from high school and do not speak proper English. As a result the children they raise, grow up in households that lead them away from a successful path in life.
Whatās even funnier is that you are offended by the word fag which is a direct reference to a man that behaves like a woman. Thus, fag is a very well crafted descriptor of you in the English language stretching all the way back to the 16th century. Then in the very next breath you call yourself a girl. Youāre retarded as hell.
I'm not pushing a label on you, you don't have to call yourself cis but it's what I'm going to call you. I'm not calling you something that implies superiority.
1. I'm white, not a person if color. 2. I'm not heterosexual. 3. Pretty sure I told that labels in general piss me off. 4. And now you're assuming shit about me again.
And now, you and I have a problem. You don't fuck with peoples boundaries.
Well I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you I just don't see why you gotta be so against transgender people. You're not transphobic but you still have a problem with everything we do
How about stop labeling people in general? It's unnecessary.
Also, you knew it pissed me off because I repeatedly told you as such. And double fuck you, because YET AGAIN, I don't have issues with trans people. I don't like people pushing their fucking labels on me, assuming shit about me and acting like total assholes. Like seriously, fuck you.
You and I now have a problem. Not because you're trans or other stupid shit you're going to keep assuming, but because you knowingly pushed my boundaries, and I will not tolerate that.
Want us to be good? Then you will apologize for pushing labels on me, and constantly assuming shit about me. If not, then consider yourself dropped. Like I said before, you get no second chances when you fuck with me.
I genuinely apologize for doing something you said you dislike. I just don't know what you expect me to say if I'm ever in a situation where I have to clarify that you're not transgender
I'm totally fine with it. It just means I'm not trans, which is true. I don't understand how you can get offended by it and then call you a snowflake while they're the ones who get offended by the word cis.
It's a made up word by the imaginary genders crowd. I don't mind since those brainlets are the only ones using the term actively, but I really pity the sorry lot for all the issues they got.

It certainly isn't an insult, so why would it bother me? There are so many new labels, who can keep up. I know who I am, people are just making up new terms to designate who I am.
Does it matter? Not one whit!
Seriously?

Yeah if I was cis id probably hate LGBT people too. I'm conservative and Christian and disgusted by the left as much as the next person, I don't have many LGBT friends at all. But I'm also trans so when people talk as if I'm like that I have to speak up.
Glad to hear you're not a leftist nutter. :)
I don't mind it at all.
Especially if it makes sense in the conversation. Where trans or other types are included and we're talking about it.
I don't feel the need to say cis woman/man every time though. Most often it's implied.
"Most often it's implied" I disagree but I see how you think that as a cis person. To me the word "woman" doesn't imply cis or trans because we're both women.
i am so tired of labels honestly- im just me thats it, i judge no one on their labels but dont label me
Its a strange word. Im a straight, biological female
You understand that I say cis instead of biological because the word biological implies you're superior, right?
I'm not calling you something that implies that I'm fake or fraudulent or artificial.
No problem, girly! šš
Just ignore the hatred and spread love ā¤
Ans no, its just easier to say that you are trans instead of saying that others are cis. You get what i mean? This is a very sensitive subject and I know that trans people have been treated inhumane for years now. Stay strong. Just know that people are gonna say shit to you on the internet. I have faced racism on here and its terrible. But people won't mess with you irl because they know that they CANNOT get away with the shit they say/do to you. People are gonna be assholes on the internet because, well, anonymity allows them to do so. Dont take it to heart.
Why is a word needed to describe real females... meaning women who were born with a vagina.
Why not use fake new term for fake females?
Don't really have a problem with the name itself... but the person uttering it is just announcing that they're one of those dumbfuck intersectional transgenderist feminists.
Wow way to stereotype. I'm a trans woman. I'm also conservative.
If you speak a different language than those you are trying to communicate with youāre not going to communicate very well. Itās common sense, but I guess you donāt have any of that.

Good thing cisgender is an English word
It's fag slang. It's not what is in common usage in the English language to describe straight people. Itās like speaking ebonics. If you say dat bitch fly. Most people are going to be like, nah sheās standing on the ground and has no wings. Thatās why you talk like a fag and your shits all retarded, because you donāt know the difference.
Plenty of cis people use the word. It's funny how you phones seem to think most people are as rude as you are.
And cis doesn't mean straight
It doesnāt matter what it means. If you want to communicate effectively with people, you have to speak their language. I can repeat this all day, but eventually youāll have to be moved to special education with the rest of the mentally handicapped.
Less than 1% of the population identifies as a transsexual. You are a linguistic minority. The overwhelming majority of people do not conform to the slang of you small social bubble. If you want to communicate effectively with everyone outside your safe space in a predominately English speaking country, then you need to speak common usage English. If you go to Germany, then try German. When in Rome... Don't speak fag.
Fag is a really mean word to call a girl like me!! š„ŗ
It's annoying. I hate it when people push labels on me. Of any kind.
It's just a word describing a fact about you.
Its a label, fact or not, it still is a label and I don't like labels being pushed on me.
I know it doesn't bother you Pam, but it annoys me.
I'm not pushing a label on you, you don't have to call yourself cis but it's what I'm going to call you. I'm not calling you something that implies superiority.
Doesn't matter in the least. Calling me any label without my permission, and assuming it's ok, is going to cause a problem
You're an American person of color heterosexual cisgender female woman adult literate English speaker and gagger.
Pretty sure the only label there that you have a problem with is the one that gives self respect to trans people
You're not transphobic but you still have a problem with everything we do
Like what should I say when I need to clarify that someone is not trans?
That's half an apology, and half-assed. I'm waiting.
I'm a straight woman, why do we need to confuse things?
I'm a straight woman. And I'm also transgender. Because sexuality and gender are entirely different.
@Asker Please get back on your meds!!!
I'm not a part of the imaginary genders crowd I'm a transsexual
