Richards refuses, and Remington fires eight shots from his handgun at the man's back. Remington briefly pauses as Richards slumps forward in his wheelchair; the officer then fires a ninth shot. It's definitely messed up. Even if he did shoplift and brandish a knife that's NO EXCUSE to shoot a man in a wheelchair 9 TIMES. Like what? They could've easily just gone up to him and arrested him, what's he gonna do? Jump up and stab them? SMH. That cop definitely needs to be charged with murder. I'm not the type that believes all cops are bad but there's definitely more than a few bad apples. There's too many people with poor judgement and who are prejudiced on the force.

I haven't seen the video and I am always reluctant to judge a situation on the basis of limited information. However, if there is not more to the story, this sounds like murder.

None of that is a factor in why this cop pumped nine bullets into a disabled man.

It was murder. Plain and simple.
