Driver had a cow because I took a right on red almost as soon as his light turned green?

I had started my right hand turn like 2 seconds before his light turned green so it was kind of too late to just nail the brakes. I mean sorry, how did I know your light was about to change, so thus driver holds his horn down for like the next quarter Mike, then brake checks me, practically stopping at the next intersectiin when the light was green and switches lanes every time I try to just get out of his lane. This happens all the time and all you have to do is stop for an extra second to let the person finish their right turn. I never make a big deal out of it when it happens to me. That dude just blew it way out of proportion. Opinions?

When you are turning on a red, you should not impede the traffic at all. Expecting the traffic to “stop for an extra second to let the person finish their right turn,” puts you in the wrong.
However, what followed that was uncalled for and childish.
The guy was obviously a moron, and a danger to others.

My wheels started turning before the other vehicles. I can't stop and be sticking out 2ft into the lane.

A red light means you stop at the line. If your light is red, then the other is either green or turning from one to the other. The only reason why you were in the intersection when the traffic started to flow the other way is because you were not paying attention, or you were rushing to get in front of the coming traffic.
There is not a scenario where you were in the right.

I am seeing more and more of this. I do not really like to drive around much on the weekends because of all the traffic and the jerks out there who think they are the center of the universe.
Someday I will just get fed up and you will see me on the 6 o'clock news
