No I don't think it'll protect Taiwan - The steps China is taking are close to any country that is looking to expand - Even like nazi Germany - Think of Taiwan to China and the USA as a supposed Poland to nazi Germany and the allies - They were supposed to do something - They didn't do shit - Unless the USA at some point is actually looking forward to war - Which it isn't - They'd use china attacking Taiwan as an alibi to start a war.. But I ultimately see none of this happening - It'll just continuously keep on being an economic war where china keeps going up while the usa and Europe are on the decline
@jaybee281 Okkkay... BUT If it enabled/ encouraged China to occupy Taiwan then China will try to occupy Indian Regions as well, China claims on Indian Regions in Himalaya
Yea that would be fucked up - But I think India is really getting better everyday as a nation and military wise - So I think Indians would put up a much bigger fight than what China would actually try to go for - While Taiwan can't do that at all and it's just a small pawn in the grand scheme of things - I genuinely see China having all out war with India as a bad move for them - Then again there is Pakistan on the other side - So let's hope the USA and others actually do something about it when the time comes
@jaybee281 I Hope Situation will be in Control, I don't think Why People/ Countries are So Much Greedy and Ambitious? China is Already a HUGE country and what it will do after occupying small Taiwan and Occupying Indian Himalayan Regions 🙄🙄
Now Indian Has deployed its Fastest Cruise Missile Brahmos and Russian S400 System On its Border with China
As they should - Because China doesn't care so it's the best thing to do - And honestly all countries at their best would act like China - Also If you look into chinese presence in Africa - You'd realize they're already ahead of the game - They basically own Africa - It's a new form of colonization I say
No I don’t fear China do you think China can handle handle our fighter pilots?
Hmm... China is a Threat for Taiwan in South China sea and China is biggest Threat for India in Indian Ocean, USA has Currently 10 Aircraft Carriers operational but China has built its Navy very vast and it has 380 warships which is Largest in world in 2021 !
Quantity Always beats quality, Always. We were able to get air superiority against the Germans because we were producing airplanes faster than you can say cat in the hat. Soviet soldiers who were carrying shovels and rakes overwhelmed German soldiers who had machine gun with sheer numbers. We will lose our air superiority, because Chinese airplanes and other military equipment will overwhelm our high tech airplanes and everything else. There are so many examples from history where quality always loses to quantity. Best known examples are, Romans vs Barbarians, Spartans vs Persians and of course Soviets vs Germans
@GreenLanternI0I I disagree here bulk food is quantity small quality meals are better
@GreenLanternI0I I think you are right to an extent... however, im not sure if you are 100% correct
FOR EXAMPLE..
The Spartans did lost the battle to the Persians, but the Greeks won the war.. and would control Persia for centuries.
The Barbarians did eventually overcome the Romans after centuries of conflicts (and many lost wars), but that was also due to the Romans allowing the Barbarians among their ranks...
and the Soviets did eventually overcome the Germans... largely due to mismanagement, micromanagement, and a multifronted war
I mean look at the last time China and the USA fought
it was a stalemate, and very clearly the Chinese had the numerical advantage.
@PeterQuillsAlive You have fair points there.
@GreenLanternI0I
I think there are more complexities to a conflict between China and the USA than just numbers
it could be a player...
But if there is a weakness in the USA
its will, political leadership, and political division.
If China were to win a conflict against the USA
I think its less to do with a numerical military advantage
and more to do with internal struggles of the USA
That being said, I think the USA has the military capabilities to DEFEAT China
However, I will also agree that at this point in time China is very easily the biggest competitor of the USA
perhaps even on a military level (though Russia would also be within that argument)
@PeterQuillsAlive @GreenLanternI0I @Iron_Man Lamo, USA need a Strong President like Jinping or Barak Obama, I doubt Biden can handle Precarious Situation !!!
@Iron_Man You mean to him?
upload.wikimedia.org/.../George-W-Bush.jpeg
@priyakigaandme I agree, Biden has shown he is incapable of handling much of anything..
even Democrats and CNN struggle to support him all the time now
@PeterQuillsAlive Hmmm... Yes EVERONE know, Do you think George Bush was better President of USA in Recent 15 Years?
@priyakigaandme I think it is hard to judge due to the degradation of American society over that time.
We have political become weaker over time due to cultural movements
But in a way, yes Bush was stronger and more capable.

China by itself can’t. Currently there isn’t a single country in the world that can take on the US one on one.
@hafinjun I don’t know who @Glasgow55 is talking to.
In a conventional war, the US would annihilate the Chinese military. That's not to say that it wouldn't come at a cost - the US would certainly take losses. But, for example, China doesn't have a single operational fixed-wing carrier. The US has 11 carrier groups. Conventionally, the main threat would be submarine attacks, but the US has the means to deal with them as well. China has 66 submarines, with more than half of them being old Russian diesel boats or Chinese copies - but they do have a small number of nuke boats and some ballistic missile subs - those would be the primary threat, and they would be the primary targets of the US Navy. If the US can eliminate the nuclear-powered subs, China would be nearly defenseless on the ocean.
From a strictly military viewpoint, the big problem with China is that they have nukes (nuclear bombs/missile warheads - including sub-launched missiles). I'd say that the US is less prepared than China to lose cities to nuke attacks.
But perhaps even the bigger threat than that is that we've stupidly allowed ourselves to become incredibly reliant on China, even for strategically important things like computer chips. In a war with China, 2/3 of the items in our stores would disappear, and would stay gone for YEARS. Not only would you not be able to buy a TV, computer, smartphone, or other electronic device, you also wouldn't be able to buy an appliance - no refrigerators, no freezers, no ovens, no microwaves, no dishwashers, etc. It's all made in China.
And forget about cars - half of the parts in the car you drive were manufactured in China. Those would disappear overnight, and it would be years before factories would be set up somewhere else and start filling parts orders.
Make no mistake: this would also be devastating to China, because THEY depend so heavily on the US dollar, and without trillions of dollars a year pouring into China, their financial markets would collapse. That's really the main thing keeping them from getting frisky. Xi isn't concerned with the deaths of a couple hundred million Chinese - he's concerned that he wouldn't be able to buy a decent car to drive, or have a decent meal, much less maintain control over so many people who depend on him financially once the money went away.
But, if we're strictly talking about conventional forces, the US would quickly have complete air superiority and would sink every ship that got out of visual range of the Chinese coast.
The US should not fear China. The United States spent $778.0 billion on its military in 2020; China spent $252.0 billion. To put this another way: 39% of all global military spending was spent by the United States. The United States' military is still clearly above China's military in nearly every way except manpower; they have nothing to fear.
However, the great difficulty of militaries has always been projection. It's one thing to have a massive military at home; but can you project that military power overseas?
The United States has the benefit of having allies in South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, all of whom would lend military bases to American fighter jets should America need it in a war. But America would still face the problem of logistics: how difficult would it be to supply a major military campaign halfway across the globe?
For China, the problem of logistics is easy: it borders the South China Sea. It doesn't need to project its power because we're talking about a place that directly borders China. China would be able to employ its full military strength in a conflict in the South China Sea. Because of this, it's fair to suggest China would be able to hold its own against America in the South China Sea.
However, a war between the United States and China would not be limited to a South China Sea theatre. China knows that they would need to invade America itself if America was going to make any serious concessions in a peace treaty. If you thought America has problems with power projection, China's problems are far worse. China has no allies near America; China has no hope of sustaining the logistics necessary to mount an amphibious assault of America's Pacific coast.
For that reason, you're going to see an uneasy truce in the South China Sea. China knows it cannot defeat America, and America knows a conflict with China would cause massive casualties. That's essentially unwinnable for both powers. They're going to shout bad things at each other while doing the minimum necessary to avoid war.
I believe the United States has the strength to defeat the Chinese in a war.
However, the issue today is the United States lacks the will to pursue such an outcome.
We only have to look at Afghanistan to see that reality.
The Afghan Government and Military (ANDSF) controlled the war from 2014-2021, and were given only limited supported by the United States, while those resources continued to dwindle over the years
For example, the United States military manpower in Afghanistan in 2010 was 100,000
however, in 2014 it was 14,000.. and by 2020 it was 2,000.
This soldiers were largely used for logistics, and American casualties were very minor over those years.
It was for all purposes an Afghan led war
However, it was also clear the Afghan Government and Military were horribly corrupt and inept. They slowly lost ground to the Taliban over the years...
Once the United States removed all of its resources...
it only took 2 weeks for the ANDSF and Afghan Government to collapse
Did it have to happen? No.
The United States could have kept a small contingent of soldiers to prevent any collapse.
However, the United States simply lack any interest or will to do that...
due to a mix of political divide, and new social/cultural standards.
What was a perfectly acceptable situation in 2020.. that required very little in the ways of cost or blood by the USA
became a horrible political disaster in 2021.
When it comes to Taiwan
I have no doubt of the Taiwanese Governments abilities to fight.. it is clearly unified, professional, and has the will
HOWEVER!
I doubt the United States has the will to fight the Chinese today...
there is too much cultural/societal decay
I will Reply to you after some time
So to answer it simply
I think the United States has the abilities to defeat any opponent on the field.
The United States military is the most powerful and capable force on the planet
However, I believe the United States lacks the political will to go to war with China
with the current administration, and cultural/societal realities..
its like the United States will avoid war
and be more likely to surrender Taiwan to the Chinese (if it comes to that)
than to go to war with China over it
AT BEST
The United States will put sanctions on China, or try to use an international body to threaten China
However, I doubt it will use its military power...
Its the reason why nations like China and Russia have become more aggressive in recent months
they recognize that American leadership is poor, and there is no will to be aggressive against our opponents.
Do you know why German High Tech tanks during WWII that were way ahead of their times, were not able to stop Soviet weak and extremely low quality tanks? because of QUANTITY!
Do you know why German soldiers who had automatic rifles with high capacity magazines were not able to stop Soviet soldiers who were carrying shovels and rakes? because of QUANTITY!
China WILL win a war against United States for 2 simple reasons.
1. QUANTITY of Every military equipment and raw human power (soldiers)
2. For decades they were bribing the most important and top end people, we are talking about generals, scientists, politicians etc... with A LOT of money and letting these very important and top people do things to boys and young girls that will get them Death Sentence in a Nano-second if public ever finds out. So when, not if, but when time comes, China will ask nicely and politely those top and very important people to open the doors for Chines military and guess what, they will not be able to say no.
Given we has a 1978 agreement with Taiwan that if China attacked them then we would defend there, Honestly if China attacked between now and the 2022 election there’s a good shot we wouldn’t defend them, Of course democratic are going to get a huge spanking in the midterms Democratic have lost there popularity with there radicalness, So likely joe Biden will get impeached and removed from office just like the tried to do with trump, Democratic started with game and it will back fire. When that happens and a republicans is put in charge of the White House then we would go and defend Taiwan, The issue right now is Biden but yes we are willing to start ww3 over Taiwan’s independence and if we don’t frankly we should be isolated from the rest of the world and no one trust us to uphold our promises ever again they should loose faith in the USD and bankrupt the United States and not allow it’s people to leave the United States until the government is no more and a new one is out back in its place
The US doesn't fear china in any way. Plus, China would have some obstacles in its way. I don't know the exact location of it, however, there is a US Carrier Group in the area between or near the between areas of Taiwan and China, to prevent China even getting to Taiwan.
With Taiwan being an Island, even despite it not being to far away from China or land connected to China. China would only be able to reach Taiwan through Sea or Air and guess what? The US currently has the more Technological advanced Navy and Air Force in the World, and both US Air Force and US Navy are heavily considered to best in the world.
To put some numbers in there for you.
The US Air Force currently has the most Aircraft in the world at 13,000 total. This is 4x more than what China has which is currently 3,000 total Aircraft. China is also in 2nd in the world for the most Aircraft. The US Navy currently has the most Aircraft Carriers in the world, at 11 total Aircraft Carriers. China currently only has 2 Aircraft Carriers. Also, Chinas carriers are still living in the 80s, their carriers are still powered by Oil-fired Boilers and carry only 24 aircraft, to where all 11 of the US carriers are 40 years ahead of Chinas 2, and currently, All 11 US carriers are Nuclear Powered, giving them a longer run time, less need to refuel, and at minimum the US carriers will carry 60 Aircrafts, some ships carry more.
So, does the US fear China, "currently", NO. However, China has a goal of becoming a modern military by 2027. They also increased their Defense budget by 6%. While even their new budget of $252 Billion is no where close to the US budget of $778 Billion, China is 2nd behind the US for most money spent on its Military, and is catching up fast to where the US currently sits today, which can cause problems later
Matthew 24:1-15 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

It's an important chapter about the future, I suggest reading the whole of it.
The USA would spank China so hard it's not even funny. China has no combat experience. Americans are the best warriors int he world. It would be like pulling some random soy boy off the street and putting them in the ring with a world champion boxer and saying let's get it on!
@BeMuse US didn't win a Single war in History !!! USA lost in Cuba, Vietnam and Afghanistan and China is too Powerful for USA, Also Now USA is not as Strong as it used to be 20-25 Years Ago !!!
https://youtu.be/j-88SXkG46w
The USA has won all rounds of combat we have ever engage in. Misunderstand that to your own peril. We are an extremely dominate fighting force. We are not an expansionist empire though. We have no intention of permanently occupying territory. What the USA generally does is install more favorable local governments and central banks that make trade conditions more favorable for the time that we need them. If you control the money, then you control the people... America is the world largest economy which proves our efforts have been very successful. We maintain trade routes, we establish military outposts that allow us to protect free trade, our corporations establish business in pretty much every country, and we earn interest on foreign aid and development projects. Physically occupying territory is unproductive in the long run. It is just something that is done temporarily to change the dynamics of a situation. We maintain the strongest military because it gives us power projection and maintains the USD as the world reserve currency… We have the ability to reach out and touch anyone, anywhere, at anytime. We can fight two major wars anywhere in the world in different theaters without any issues. If you think America has ever lost, you’re a fool.
@priyakigaandme
Please learn history?
to be more specific
American Revolutionary War = American Victory
Native American Conflicts (which which there were 40+) = American Victory in nearly all of them
Quasi War = American Victory
Barbary Wars (2 of them) = American Victory
War of 1812 = Stalemate
Mexican American War = American Victory
Texas Revolution = American Victory (though we don't necessarily need to count this one due to Texas not being part of the USA at the time, but its central to Texan history)
Civil War = Union Victory (Northern vs Southern War, where the Northern forces won.. . once again we don't need to count this one.. but the conflict makes up over 50%+ of all American military deaths in all wars combined... the bloodiest war by far)
Spanish American War = American Victory
Banana Wars (several Latin American conflicts) = American Victory
Philippine American War = American Victory
World War 1 = American Victory
World War 2 = American Victory
Korean War = Stalemate (agreed armistice)
Vietnam War = Political Defeat, The South Vietnamese government (and ARVN, the military wing) collapsed 2 years after the last American soldiers withdrew in 1973 (the collapse was in 1975, the USA decided not to intervene and help and instead evacuated its embassy)
Dominican Civil War = American Victory
Korean Border conflicts of the 60s = American Victory
Mexican Border conflicts of the 1910s = American Victory
Grenada Conflict = American Victory
@priyakigaandme
Libyan conflicts of the 1980s = American Victory
Libya War of 2011 = American Victory
Iranian Boat War of 1980s (known as Tanker War) = American Victory
Panama Conflict = American Victory
Gulf War = American Victory
Serbian Conflicts = American led victories
Somalian Conflicts = UN led failures to bring stability (There was limited success, but considering a stable Somalian government was central.. the ultimate objective failed)
Iraq War = Military victories with questionable political results, IE; Defeat of Iraqi forces led by Saddam, Defeat of Insurgents (through military means, or political), and a Strengthened Iraqi Government. However, many would question if it was worth it (where the main "question" comes).
ISIS conflict = American victory
Afghanistan = Political disaster. This was largely due to the ANDSF taking complete control of security in 2014. The United States only played a minor role in the conflict over the past 7 years.
The ANDSF collapsed quickly when all American support was removed.
The Afghan Government collapsed as well
Though ultimately not a "USA Defeat", it is clearly a political disaster
due to Afghan government corruption, ineptness, and lack of American interest in the conflict.
@priyakigaandme
Furthermore the United States never fought a war against Cuba
The only time the United States military fought in Cuba was to support Cuban Rebels against the Spanish Empire.. in the Spanish American War of 1898
What you are probably think of is when the United States supported and funded Cuban Exiles
and CIA trained forces known as "Brigade 2506" who were all Cubans
invaded Cuba and failed.. due to the USA not willing to get militarily involved
Learn History
your lack of knowledge on these topics makes you seem kinda dumb
@priyakigaandme
The only times the United States suffered "defeats" in war...
were during conflicts the USA was no longer a major party, or actively heavily engaged
but instead, where another party was the main force.
For example,
in Vietnam... the ARVN were the combatting force against the NVA from 1973-75 without any sort of American support outside of $$. The disaster ensued due to a lack of American military involvement, a cutting of funds in congress, and the Case Church Amendment which prohibited American forces from returning too Indochina without Congressional aid
When the ARVN began to lose the war, there was no support in Congress for an American return to the conflict
Instead, Congress only allowed the USA military to evacuate its embassies
a political disaster to be sure
In regards to Afghanistan,
the United States combat mission ended in 2014 (the same applies to your country).
The ANDSF took up all responsibilities of the war, but still relied heavily on Western logistics and support.
Just like with ARVN in South Vietnam.. a mix of corruption, ineptness, and reliance made the ANDSF an incapable force
HOWEVER, it was even worse than that...
the ARVN lasted 2 years by itself
the ANDSF lasted only about 2 weeks.
immediately when the USA logistical forces removed themselves (be it the small contingent of 2,000 USA soldiers, and contractors).. the ANDSF began to lose major ground (which they had been slowly losing over 7 years without any major USA military support)
Once again, like in Vietnam
there was not much USA interest in the conflict
and instead of aiding the ANDSF
the USA and its allies decided to remove its embassies
once again, a political disaster to be sure
@priyakigaandme However, that being said
the United States has never suffered an actual defeat similar to that of Russia in WW1, or Japan/Germany in WW2, Iraq armed forces of 1991/2003, or the British in the American Revolutionary War.
the disasters of the USA have always been at a point when USA involvement was small, minor, and allied parties had control of the conflict.
Its better to say that at times the USA fails at nation building, or picking the right sides in a conflict.
@priyakigaandme
The point is you NEED to actually try learning about the things you want to talk about
You sound terribly misinformed about Historical topics
likely copying some nonsense from a reddit post
without ever attempting to look up its validity
It sounds great to someone who holds a grudge, or some Anti-USA perspective
However it makes little sense for a Superpower to never win a "Single war in history!"
Just something people who hate AMERICA say..
as opposed to those who are actually informed on the reality the USA is one of the most successful military powers in history.
TRY RESEARCHING NEXT TIME
it will prevent you from looking so foolish in these posts
@BeMuse
You are also 100% correct
there is no example in American History of the United States military being defeated in a conflict.
Its why most people like @priyakigaandme have to rewrite history to make it appear as if "THE USA military ran away"
because the only conflicts they can name either have no USA military involvement (like Cuba), or were political disasters years after the USA military missions ended (Afghanistan/Vietnam).
Its why when you talk with them
most of them can't answer any specific questions about the wars
they often know little to nothing about them.
its a sad reality
but most people know little to nothing about history.
It depends on who is in power. If the current Administration is in power when China makes its move, I think they will threaten and publicly shame, but pull back the military and not do anything to protect Taiwan or any of the other countries in the area.
I don’t think it’s worth any government fearing anyone otherwise anxiety would last a lifetime for every presidential power. I mean there are constant talks of war, it’s an ongoing topic between countries were there should be talks of emergency environmental discussions.
Two big powers using modern day missiles and warfare will be catastrophically devastating to every living thing on this planet. Let’s pray that everyone has some awareness of the global fatalities, which we would probably never recover from.
The US doesn't fear China.
US politicians fear LOSING power to china. They like being the only super power in the world and being able to take unilateral actions anywhere they want. Now that China has similar influence to the US our politicians are facing push back, and they don't like that.
They will do anything to delegitimize china.
That's why US politicians backed the idiotic theory covid was a lab created virus when all the scientists said it evolved naturally. Had china created a virus to "weaken" to US they wouldn't release it on there own population. That's bioweapons 101
There really isn't an argument whether it was created in a lab anymore. The argument is who funded it and who had knowledge it was happening.
I think they fear China's intentions if they come to power, rather than fear China being a successful Country that does well for its people.
China has a international reputation for brutally quashing any dissent from citizens or lesser nations, they don't tolerate any questioning of their authority or actions. They aren't elected by the people, their leadership is from a small group of Elite people. They censor Internet etc too.
The West has serious political flaws too, but at the press are free to publish scandals or corruption, that is not the case in China, Russia and others.
I think the USA, China and others need to stop trying to run the world, focus on their own regions.
If they're smart, they both fear each other. If Xi is smart, he'll leverage the PR gain from retaking Hong Kong and NOT do something as stupid as pushing for Taiwan. Some saber-rattling in the region is inevitable, but a shooting war would be devastating for both sides, and I think that everyone involved knows it.
Actually, if Xi was REALLY smart, he'd leave it at rattling and start investing into improving the internal infrastructure of China; that population bomb is going to cause them HUGE problems, and attracting immigrants could help offset that. A grab for Taiwan would produce nothing but corpses, and at best, a wasted, bombed-out hunk of rock. Hardly the kind of legacy you want to leave for your administration- let alone your empire.
china isn't dangerous because they are powerful, they are dangerous because they are weak and they know it.
they might try to grab taiwan before their economy collapses but they know a collapse is coming.
they have the lowest birth rate, they don't have any more young people coming in, their navy can't secure their resources abroad and so they will run out of food and energy and already are
their economy is built on debt to make growth, not actual growth
did you know One China Policy?
https://youtu.be/nrgYMFOMZMY
that doesn't respond to anything i said
America cannot beat Vietnam they cannot beat China lol.
Not that I think china would actually start anything anyway, there is no need the risk when they are thriving. And then if China did start anything it would not be just USA it would have to worry about since pretty much all countries would just start a war on china. China allies don't really exist.
And the world vs china yeah china loses.
The US has already lost this conflict.
The reason is that it's not only about China, the US and Western Europe would fight in 3 fronts: 1) the South Asian Sea, against China. 2) Eastern Europe, against Russia. 3) The Middle East, against Iran. If a war erupts in one of those regions, the other two will follow them.
At the best case scenario, the US and its serfs in Europe will quit after paying a huge economic toll, experiencing a huge loss of life and getting its aircraft carriers sank.
At worst case scenario, the North Hemisphere would cease to exist due to nuclear fallout.
The only way to avoid these scenarios is through diplomacy, but we have an actual idiot like Antony Blinken as Sec of State and Americans are seemingly becoming suicidal to the point of not caring about the consequences of such a war.
There's a bit of an irony of imperalism, to grow a countries influence also requires the economy to grow. And often time economies don't expand well. Just look at what happened to the Romans. Anyone who's smart would know that if the US has worse tactics than just out right war. Conflict with the US would be an apsolute horrible idea.
Particularly if the US resorts to like ecological warfare. Something that most countries assume is the US has only guns. What's to say if someone smuggled a giant load of gmo mosquitoes into the center of bejing. O. O the one thing more scary than getting shot XD.
haha.. i don't wanna talk about it, to be precise i hate to seeing war. in the past is enough, no more.
@Super-Sam Yes She was Alive and here 12 hours Ago
What you seem to be forgetting is that the USA has stuff like this at it's disposalhttps://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiYiL-wwvz0AhUsQEEAHWnaAJUQFnoECBwQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FFairchild_Republic_A-10_Thunderbolt_II&usg=AOvVaw3JByw_TPWHzqCXG5JNcL2i
Yes because china is trying to take over everything.
Quite Ture
Both have access to nuclear weapons, therefore neither will force the others' hand.
@BipBipLeddus In That Region Everyone has Nuclear weapons, Russia, China, North Korea, India and Pakistan have Nukes and they all are neighbors to each other !!!
No. Their economy is a paper tiger because they destroyed most of their farmland to build ghost cities. They need to import food. America is the biggest producer of food.
Unless nuclear water is on the table, we can win without firing a shot or putting a pair of boots on the ground. It’ll hurt us too, but it’ll destroy China.
USA is like the old Soviet Union - out of date and out of touch.
The world is about collaboration, not superpowers, these days.
The USA is stuck in the bad old days of one country telling all others how to run.
As for war. The USA has lost more than it's won. Vietnam and Afghanistan showed that hardware doesn't mean much difference on the field if the political setup isn't right.
The USA can defeat China in a war quite easily, especially if the USA doesn't try to avoid killing civilians since other countries like to use their own citizens as human shields against us. BUT, right now we have a very weak, anti American president and I doubt that Biden would actually go to war over Taiwan. The democrats make too much money from China so they won't go to war with them.
It would never happen. Not between two countries that need each other.
its Called Need he Power for dominance the Region/ World, You Forgot was happened in WW1 & WW2
Assuming both countries didn’t learn from those mistakes.
China is the front end of all your wal mart capitalist super cheapo supply chains. No capitalist in their right mind will support war with their bread and butter. Unless you're so consumed with us vs them ideology that you might as well be self lobotomized.
I don't know if we can take china, but whether we do we don't the war with them would be horrible in my opinion and that's before it goes nuclear
@hafinjun So far what I think, Chinese President Xi Jinping want to EXTEND CHINA and he wants to include Taiwan, Philippines and Indian Ladhak and Arunachal Pradesh of India in Greater China/ One China initiative !

Right now so many countries have been infiltrated by agents I am not worried about which country is governing, only whether or not the leaders of that country fear their own people and are not corrupt.
Most Americans can find China on a map. It's where cheaply made disposable stuff like comes from till Walmart moves to a cheaper place..
We can win but it's not worth it due to the loss of life.
Where have you been for the last past two and a half months we've been in a cyber War air-to-air missile with China trying to bomb Guam and tried to take it over we've been shooting missiles back and forth each other for two and a half months
I don't know. It depends on them. Anyone can win. Depends on the strategy they will use. And the leadership.
@blueazure So far leadership is Concerned then Certainly Chinese President Xi Jinping is Ahead than to US President Biden !!!
I think the more important question here is "What would this do to White male/Chinese female relations?" There's something more important at risk here guys, lets all just calm down.
Sorry man, I'm not qualified to answer such questions.
I’ve never been more certain of America losing another war unless it was against China
Hmmm
The US doesn't fear China as much as China doesn't fear the US.
But both countries know they cannot go to war directly with each other and that they must use other smaller countries to fight for them.
Our current admiration and military leadership has no will to do this. They are too obsessed with unisex bathrooms and "woke" politics. We are fukked. We are going to have to rely on Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Vietnam.
I highly doubt that these two countries would go to war. Considering the fact that the US already is in debt to China.
Furthermore, the US Army doesn't have the numbers that the Chinese do. However, what they may lack in numbers [US] they have more power.
For the matter of the South China Sea, many countries are involved and it is a very strategic area where there are many parties that want a piece of that cake.
The U. S. will beat China down like the suckas they are. The U. S. military isn't to be played with.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Lol !!! I am from India and We have friendship but You don't know the True Potential of New China, in Last 20 Years China has New Technologies and weapons and in last 20 Years US didn't do much to Modernize its Defense Sector !!
https://youtu.be/j-88SXkG46w
Doesn't matter. The U. S. military and overall skill men and women are far superior to the Chinese.
The Chinese have magic Kung - Fu powers. They will use these powers to win.
Joe won't let us fight China, they're his good buddies!! He's just gonna open the doors and LET them in to take over the country!!
China is your Next Boss
Very likely!!
This administration does. I see most of the world is scared to death of China. I don't know why. If they all ganged up on them, they couldn't fight everyone.
Yes, the US could take china, specially since the whole world would gladly help.
Considering most us weapons are Chinese made. I wouldn't
It really depends. With the president we have right now I'm not sure he'd stand up to anyone.
As for being afraid of China. War with China is just bad business. Things would have to deteriorate a lot more than they are now.
Whatever happens we know the world crisis will get worse with each passing day
It's up to us to be kind to one another to make what is coming bearable.
I don't know and I'm not interested in any kind of war
I don't think the US fear China however wisely approach with caution as opposed to going straight to war
I know one some years ago who went to the Army and in basics he was train to fight 6 Chinese
I'm not sure with the current administration and the direction our country has gone in the last 30 years... it's very sad and very scary.
@priyakigaandme If there was a war between US & China, then we're doomed.
@Shiningtempest Not Sure about US but China will Surely Go Ahead for a WAR !!! if Not with US then with India, India have Nukes like between 150-200 warhead but I think Considering China India should Test Hydrogen Bomb !!!
The US would lose to anyone with Biden in charge
^ I commented about this same this
I believe the USA has the strength and capabilities to win any conflict
HOWEVER...
we lack the political leadership and will
Biden is clearly inept
@PeterQuillsAlive Do You think Biden is Much weaker than the Trump?
@priyakigaandme
I greatly disliked Trump.
However, I also believe Biden is far weaker
@PeterQuillsAlive I Think Indian PM Modi is much stronger than the Biden, India bought S400 Missile defense System From Russia but Biden is too weak to put Sanctions on India like Trump had imposed on Turkey !!!
@priyakigaandme I do agree
the current Administration the USA is the weakest in a long time.. if not EVER.
@PeterQuillsAlive Yes Political weakness is bigger weakness than the Military Weakness
@priyakigaandme
Yes I believe the USA military can beat anyone
Political/Social/Cultural weakness is the Achilles Heel of the USA
it fears its own people, than any other country. trust me on this
It's not China vs the U. S.. It's China vs the world.
China and the US can wipe each other out many times over, which is why there won't be a war.
I personally believe we could but we would suffer high casualties.
Nope china will win they control everything
So you will bet for China?
Fear probably not. War guarantee nuclear holocaust.
Nothing is going to happen between the superpowers
USA is No longer a Super Power Now !!! Currently No Country has status of SUPER POWER !!!
@priyakigaandme that is quite far from the truth
clearly the 2 most powerful nations on the planet are China and the United States.
@PeterQuillsAlive I would not count out Russia. But I would certainly put them behind US and China.
@PeterQuillsAlive Yes #No1 USA #No2 China #3 Russia #4 India but does US still a SUPER POWER?
@josephinelcajon
Yes you are correct
However, I think the most important distinction is how we define "Superpower"
Militarily, I would argue USA, China, Russia are the big 3.. no doubt about it.
However, there is more involved than just that
Take economic reach for example
Cleary China and the USA has the largest reach...
Russia simply isn't to that level (though its clearly a top 15 Economy)
@priyakigaandme Yes, the United States is clearly still a superpower.
This was also true during the Cold War, when the USA and USSR were fighting for supremacy.
I would argue at this point in time we are seeing the beginnings of a new "Cold War" style conflict between the USA and China.
India and Russia are powerful in their own ways
but lack the reach and relevance of China and USA
@PeterQuillsAlive See what happens in Next 5 Years !!! China will out dollar from the world Market and then US will become like what USSR had become in 1991
The entire world has taken a step back/down. We have lost a lot in credit rating, Our Afghanistan exit, The pandemic, The civil unrest including the capital incident. So much more! We are divided and divided we fall!
@priyakigaandme Perhaps? We don't know
Many things will have to happen for that to become a reality
However, I will say right now the BIGGEST opponent of the USA.. is the USA itself
the division within the nation.. the cultural/societal decay.. etc
@josephinelcajon precisely my point
and it has less to do with American physical weakness, and more to do with American lack of will.
Afghanistan for example, was 100% avoidable..
but a mix of Afghan corruption/ineptness.. and lack of American commitment and interest... and American political division led to the collapse.
The Taliban were weaker than the ANDSF
but the ANDSF were simply unwilling to fight.. after months of not receiving pay...
It would have been simple to take more control over the conflict, instead of allowing the Afghan Government to continue its control (just like with ANDSF payrolls.. where there was a clear problem)..
However, it just wasn't an interest in the USA
@josephinelcajon Furthermore, I will add this...
Given what we know about the ANDSF, and Afghan Government..
its drug abuse, corruption, ethnic struggles... etc
its impressive that 2,000 American soldiers were enough to prevent the collapse
its impressive that any sort of American footprint prevented the Taliban from considering taking over... and the Afghan Government from going into complete collapse
to me its a sign of American strength
BUT the Exit, and the lack of USA commitment (the Taliban clearly broke the peace many times.. and USA politicians did nothing)... is a sign of lack of American will.
That is something we see played over and over again in the USA on every topic
from crime, to racial tensions, to media bias, to various industries...
