No. There's already tons of women in politics. The problem is, most of them are insufferable. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, all of them are garbage human beings. When someone presents a woman of quality, I'll consider her.
Here in Finland we had Tarja Halonen as our president for 12 years. She was this country's mother figure. In America, Hillary won the popular vote, which means wven USA was willing to give a woman a chance that the electorals in power, ignored.
I voted for her Tarja here in Finland.

In India we did have female prime minister, Indra Gandhi. And everyone in India ( including all the Indian women ) knows she was a disaster!
She imposed emergency in the country for valid reason but to remain in power she did so terrible things to our country.
Men: do you feel discomfort in the thought of a possible female president if another woman ran for president?
My answer is yes in India we did not have a good experience with a female prime minister. Whereas we majority of Indians are very happy with our current prime minister Narendra Modi.
1. Indira Gandhi was insecured & was highly ambitious, who in her quest for political supremacy has erased the value of an institution & encouraged sycophancy to give her self comfort. 2. India is paying price all of her acts in destroying all independent institutions. 3. She set precedent where sycophants are given positions of authority in return to absolute slavism and this continues even today i. e. 50 years hence. 4. She may be a HE in political she's / Political Transgenders., in that process country got degraded & suffered 5. The Simla Agreement is a poorly draft document, when it was in position of strength, India should have exerted more & occupied entire Pakistan permanently or put some strict controls that USA imposed on Japan post WW-II. 6. Her ambition to become Prime Minister made way for Russia to kill / assassinate Lal Bahadur Sastri & make to top of the ladder. 7. She had her share of failed love affairs which gave her split personality 8. She could not reconcile that her son Sanjay Gandhi blackmailing on her love affairs that she got him killed… she was cold & colder than than the ice itself.
My disgust for this republican (ideological not political party) goes beyond whether the reigning puppet is a man or woman. This system is so decrepit I really couldn't care less who is the face of it. My biggest complaint would be that people would think it's special that a woman could be as soulless as a man in order to ascend to the office.
If presidents had real power, I would be opposed to woman being president. However, it doesn't make any difference, because president must obey our masters. Since, our masters own the money, mainstream media, the FBI, the CIA, and sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc., It is impossible to get elected president and live if you don't obey our masters. That is why, other than a few show items, what Trump did was the same as what Hillary would have done.
I find this funny as shit Everyone check out the great job Kamala Harris is doing My question Is by fluke of nature a woman is president? Will she ever admit to mistake? Let's face it Harris the bar for women to be president And it's been set awful low
I dont have any problem with a woman president... I would have a big problem with Kamala Harris specifically though. Not just ANY woman (or man) should be president. It has to be the right person for the job and Kamala ain't it.

Not at all. As soon as there is a female candidate who is more qualified than the opposing male candidates, I will vote for her in a heartbeat, without hesitation. Unfortunately, that has not happened yet.
But if the next female candidate is another dishonest piece of human garbage like Hilary Clinton, I won't vote for her, and it won't be because of sexism.
Yes, but that's only because there's very few national-level female politicians I would consider for the role. Hell, there's very few *male* politicians I would vote for. As a side note, I don't believe in democracy; I want our next leader to be a man and woman of great will who'll take the seat of power by might and lead the country with justice, fairness, and wisdom.
Sex & gender doesn't matter as long as they are competent, have a history of helping people on poverty & low-class level, progressive, knowledgeable what their job is, is against corruption in government, has great negotiation skills, and is upfront and honest with the people instead of lying through their teeth.
From what I have seen from women in power. It is very bad. Women think based on their emotions. It's best to have Men in power so they can make the right choices in order to protect the people. Women would not like all world war rape victims they would accept it and so will the populations.
Honestly, I don't think most women have the natural traits to be in certain leadership roles, and the presidency is one of them. Women are too emotional and that tends to get in the way of making logical decisions. This isn't a put down of women. Women are better than men at some things and vice versa. We compliment each other.
Hey dude not to be rude or anything but I’m curious as to why you think emotions inhibit logical decisions. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Emotions are an important part of being human and is rather have a president who can be led by both. Compassion, regret, loyalty, etc. are all led by emotions and I wouldn’t want someone leading the country who doesn’t understand those things. Besides, the pattern I see in male presidents is not that they’re not “too emotional” it’s just that those emotions are fear anger and defensiveness, as is prevalent in a lot of men because those are the more “masculine” feelings. Emotions don’t usually inhibit logical thinking. And since we’ve never had a female president, who knows if she might be better than a lot of the other ones. There have been a lot of amazing female leaders throughout history.
I privilege competence over all, I don't care about gender, normally. Except that today, you never know if she earned her place, or got it because it's cool to have a woman in power. Did people vote for her because she's a woman, or because she's good?
The best presidents have all been men. But we can easily say that because ONLY men have been president. There have also been a lot of really terrible presidents that were men. I think it is time to let a woman have a try.

I get really tired of all this crap about accomplishments based on Race and gender. It gets predictable and boring! I base my vote on the person NOT what is between their legs or the color of their skin. People really need to STOP this bullshit! It's divisive and as I said boring!
I have no problem with a woman as president as long as she isn't a megalomaniacal, mass murdering, psychopathic mob boss. (Guess who I am referring to.)
I actually supported the Tulsi Gabbard campaign and contributed money.

No. Because a couple reasons. For starters a woman will never get elected anytime soon. But that's not why it doesn't bother me. The woman that does eventually get elected is so far from a woman it isn't funny. I mean look at Hillary. And she couldn't even a human internet meme like Trump. Biden had no personality at all and even he was able to beat Trump.

If she's good, I'd say HELL yes to a woman president.
People didn't support Hillary because she was such a terrible candidate she made fucking TRUMP seem like a good idea. And to be sure, he's a terrible fucking idea. SUCH a bad idea, in fact, that HE made an old dude with dementia who likely won't get out of his first term without literally shitting himself in public seem like a good idea.
THAT'S how bad an idea Hillary was. Not because she was a woman--because she sucked shit.

@update: the voting percentages look pretty much identical with and without the women's votes.
If anything, it looks like chicks hate the idea of a chick president more than the guys do. Huh! It's almost like that's the complete opposite of the idiotic narrative you usually hear! What do you know?

I don't think someones gender matters for the presidency.
I think what matters is the quality. At this point Hillary is super currupt. Harris is absolutely nuts.
Who else is there? AOC? She's terrible flat out lies every two seconds and is basically a socialist/marxist extremist... so no good there.
Give the USA a quality candidate and they will win an election, it's that simple... But so far that hasn't happened as far as females go.

Not really, there are been tons of shitty dudes in the front, heck one is right now. So can't say men are doing fine either.
Hopefully they pick a good one or women will never hear the end of it.
Though have to say, leadership isn't naturally a feminine quality, so women in power tend to over lead/micromanage and such. But time will tell.
