we definitely should cut the bullshit of finding racism where there is none. It's not because of racism that less Asians are NFL linebackers or that less blacks are nuclear engineers. There are genetic differences between races, that's why they are different colors, hair textures, eye shape, etc.
Race is a 19th century pseudo-scientific theory to define humans by physical appearance. It is a defunct concept yet a widely followed construct. It is a convenient way to divide people into tribes that are easier to control by the political overseer class. There is one race, Homo sapiens.
There is a little scientific difference but it's mainly health related, as different races are more prone to certain diseases. Other than that, yes. There's no point to have race in any other context because all people really use it for anymore is an excuse to control others.
I personally would say yes, up to an extent. Nowadays when I look at people, I don’t even notice what “race” they are. People are people. We are all human beings from the same race, and I find labelling someone as one race or the other is pointless.
Perhaps you meant you wish the US was an ethnostate rather than globally, but we were all the same colour to begin with. We all adapted to our local climates.
Skin tone appears to evolve in response to heat and UV. White skin is an adaptation to cold climates with little sunlight, allowing more absorbtion of vitamin D.
As for the native Americans, they're brown skinned, not black. America is also a very large place, some areas it will make sense to have dark skin, some areas it will make sense to have light skin.
There is nothing wrong with identifying people by race or culture as long as it’s not objectively abusive. How else would we describe a person in a crowd?
Yeah, cause races are biologically different. Even if you wanna bullshit that the 'social construct' of race wasn't a thing at the time, which is also wrong, different races existed back then as well. Different races didn't just pop into existence 500 years ago. It's stupid to say that there are no biological differences between a European and an African, an Asian and a native American.
No, we use race to describe the difference in the way certain people look from others or even psychological differences. What is wrong with recognizing difference?
There is scientific difference. And how would you go about dropping it? I agree it shouldn't be a FACTOR in your daily life, beliefs, or ideas, but at the end of the day, if you have eyes, you brain will compartmentalize without your control.
Well that depends on what you mean. The idea that race has any factual basis should be dropped. But there’s still discriminations and social impact because of these ideas and they should be acknowledged.

We are all the same race, just different ethnicities.
Right! And different histories, which we can appreciate. But current marking white, black, etc seems meaningless.
Probably not until we have true equality of opportunity.
You are correct. I do think we can stop asking for race on job apps but also give back to communities hurt by racism.
There are a few scientific differences, but otherwise, yes, it should be dropped.
Race is nothing
We are all humans
We all bleed red
Is that a haiku?
I just wish we were all the same color to begin with. Life sure would have been a lot easier in the USA 🇺🇸☮️
Maybe…or people with flatter chins would be singled out..,

@Nomoturtle that would be thousands of years. I’m not sure how skin tone evolves anyway. Cuz Native Americans are darker.

Cheers
Yes it pisses me off that you can't do anything without being called a fucking raciest, I drink liberal tears for breakfeast
I still get drunk from right wing tears over 2020
Of course there are scientific differences, how do you think they know the race of a person who's been dead for thousands of years?
Oh? There were races in roman times?

I am also not a race supremacist. I believe there are good and beautiful looking people in every race.
every difference is environmental, not genetic in race, right?
No one alive today is a pure anything. Race is being used against us to divide us. That doesn't mean that races should not exist.
Exactly there are some people that are pure one race though.

Wow 46 and 46 for yes and no
I think yes there only 1 race on earth the human race all lives matter
Yes. There is 1 race. The human race. Alternatively, ethnicity is fine and should be recognized
other than country of origin I don't see a ethnicity as anything else.
There are clear difference between races. Athletics is a good place which displays these difference and well our eyes. Lol
At the end of the day, even though we come from different races , we are equal as humans.
Couldn't be said much better than what Lilanony has said!
