He would leave. The real question would be if he leaves graciously or is forced out by the military and secret service. Cuntamala Harris would take over, but even she could not legally protect an impeached president unwilling to leave office. If she tried to stop the military and secret service from removing Biden, she then could face impeachment herself and end up in the same boat as Biden. Once a president is impeached, they are no longer president and therefore no longer have authority over anyone.

The odds of Biden getting successfully removed through impeachment are slim, even if Republicans take back both chambers of Congress. The House can bring articles of impeachment before the Senate with a simple majority, but to be convicted of the impeachment the Senate must have 67 votes in favor of impeachment.

Simply put, not enough seats are up for reelection in the Senate this year that can realistically give the Senate 67 Republicans. They may be able to gain 60 seats (enough to break filibuster), but even that is a stretch. I do believe the Republicans WILL take back control of Congress, but I do not see them having more than 60 seats. That means 7 democrats would have to vote to convict.

Impeachment in the House isn't what would oust him- only conviction in the Senate would, and Democrats won't allow that to happen. If the party donors have decided Biden must go, they'll use the 25th Amendment instead (or maybe he just dies of "natural causes).

But Biden certainly deserves to be impeached for a lot of things, especially his administration's clandestine human trafficking.
