Probably not. I did enjoy his movie " America: Imagine the world without her". And I agreed with most of what he said until he said America should have only 1 national language, English. I do think most people who a here legally do try to assimilate. And no other country that I know of has a national language. Why should America be like that?

I have zero problem with someone being proud of their heritage. I have a neighbor from Sweden and he has 3 flagpoles in front of his house and flies 3 flags. One is the flag of his homeland, one is the state flag and the 3rd is the star spangled banner. But he loves America and understands respectfully that it's our custom to fly the star spangled banner higher than all others because it denotes your allegiance to the United States. And that's what he does. He's also more knowledgable in our history, the constitution, etc. Than most born Americans I know.

Actually all countries have national languages - Albeit the term is used to designate any legal papers you need or anything government related - If I go and speak Italian in the usa it isn't a problem - But I'm still expected to be able to speak English like I don't get how you show up in a country and want to live and work there and have no idea how to speak - that's all that means
