No. The government has no business between what couple in a relationship decide to do.
Oh so you support gay couples than too? That’s great!
They can do whatever they wanna do, just not be recognized as husband and wife.
@Subarugirl You remind me of Kathy Newman. She was putting words in Jordan Peterson’s mouth the same way and she nearly lost her job for it.
But you just said that the government has no business between what couples in a relationship decide to do? So witch is it? You mean just when it comes to heterosexual couples?
Gay people can't produce children at all.
Yes I seen it where women would pinned baby on the wrong person.
Of course, women are against it because it would expose their cheating.
Yes, make it the law, so problems never arise later down the track.
It shouldn't be mandated but it should be readily accessible and commonplace.
I know everything SHOULD be voluntary. We should have the choice of weather or not anything is in our life.
I think if the guy isn’t sure he should get a paternity test before he signs the birth certificate
What you don't understand is that the problem arises when he is sure that he's the father and gets a nasty surprise later on when it's too late to do anything about the problem.
Yes. Especially since paternity fraud is getting worse
They should have DNA test for both parents in case. 23 and me caused divorces they should have made business with divorce lawyers to make the most money
government is enough of are stuff don't need to add more
The fact that this is even a question, seems to be reason enough to have them
Not really, unless there are extenuating circumstances that call for it.
No, that’s ridiculous. It should be an option, as is. There’s no good reason for it to be mandatory. That’s an invasion of our private lives.
Yes but only if child support is involved, and the mother or father is questioning the child support claiming the child support isn't theirs.
Notice more woman say no then yes. If you aren't cheating , why would you say no? Hmmmm
far far more people than you think have the wrong father
Yes, The government needs more control over our lives.
Most average and below average men are raising another man's kids
Who pays for it? It's would be a big expense
Paternity tests cost like 100 bucks
3.6 million babies born in US. $360million you need to find to finance your idea. You gunna pay more tax?
And how much do you think it costs to have a baby?
Not as much as you may think if you're prepared to take hand me downs, and look out for sales. Buying items at full price can be very expensive.
I had a DNA test for my first, so I could sure, but I paid for it. I'm not against testing, but the state shouldn't be paying.
The average cost to have a baby in the united states is over ten thousand dollars. The state doesn't cover labor and delivery costs, so what makes you think that they are gonna cover a paternity test, that is up to the parent to pay. You're the only ones that said anything about having the state pay.
Who's going to pay? You want it mandatory, someone had had cover it, are you charging mothers then? What if the first test comes back negative, do you keep charging them?
No it be for the man signing the birth certificate.
So a woman tests 3 guys for paternity, and the one signing birth certificate pays for all 3?
No the man who wants to sign the birth certificate would have to get a paternity test before signing it
Sounds like a good idea
Yes. Only cheaters wouldn't support that.
No, government is to much in our life enough
that is a terrible idea
Why is it a terrible idea?
It automatically creates the idea that the wife cheated on her husband or the girlfriend cheated on her boyfriend
No it doesn’t, that would only be the case if the paternity of the child was in question.
than what paternity are you talking about if it’s not who the father is?
So you don’t think that the man signing away 18 years of his life away to being a father should be fully informed on the paramagnetic of the child in question?
Paramagnetic?

@Subarugirl you ask some interesting questions
Agree. Its invasive and none of anybody's buisness
I agree with you @Lisaf7ffhfh
Who is going to get the 600 dollar bill
Makes sense as part of the process
No, respect people their privacy
Only if there is an issue or question.
Only for known whores 🤪
Wow mabe so on the vote
what for?
Why?
Why should it be?
Why shouldn’t it? The woman giving birth is obviously the mother why should the male do the minimum?
@Subarugirl You'd think the child would at least have the right to know who their parents are.
No. Why?
yes, if in doubt
Oh yes in my opinion
What would it hurt?
