I understand the outrage over Russia invading Ukraine, but where is the outrage over Yemen?

As I type this, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are bombing innocent civilians in Yemen again. The bombings in Yemen have been going on for years with the support of US/UK and not one bit of outrage.

Here in the US, and I suspect over most of the western world, the furor around this invasion is serving a second purpose: allowing a transition from the "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Covid paranoia the media has been screaming about for the past two years. No one will admit they were wrong, or that they exaggerated; they'll just quietly sweep it under the rug and move on to the next crisis: Ukraine, and possibly an incipient World War 3, in this case.
