They don't care about Ukrainians. They just want to hurt Russia for some insane reason.
Their long term wet dream is to split Russia into a bunch of independent ethnic states like they did with Yugoslavia. Then the vultures can come in and rob those states blind like they did to Russia under Yeltsin. Putin put a stop to that and the robbers will never forgive him.40 Reply

The sad reality is that Ukraine was finished a long time ago already; sure, they'll still launch counter attacks as soon as new shipments of weapons arrive...
... but that war is brutal, and it has entered a state of 'Attrition warfare' a while back.
Things are not easy for Russia... I have no doubt about that (I wouldn't know, I can only receive Pro-Ukrainian news; all Russian news sites have been blocked out in the UK)... but Russia can keep going for a lot longer than Ukraine.
International support for Ukraine has been waning for quite some time already, and weapon deliveries are no longer a given, certainly not on the same scale as the weapon deliveries at the beginning of the war.14 Reply- 1 y
I've read a bit more about it, only on The Guardian (so not the best source)... but only a few hundred Ukrainian soldiers have crossed into Russia and only advanced a 'few' miles (13 miles or something).
While in general military analysts say that Ukraine's achievements so far are remarkable; they are as good as all confused about why Ukraine does this and what do they want to achieve.
Yeah, they surprised Russia... no Question about that... But only a few hundred soldiers? They won't get that far.
However, it is being pointed at that in the small region now under Ukrainian control are the main station and pipeline of Russian Gas to Europe. So maybe that's their target... occupy that station and those pipelines... but then still the questions remains "What are they going to with that?" - 1 y

It seems Russian regions which have a border with Ukraine are defended by conscripts who have zero motivation to die for Putin or for mother Russia. It was a smart move to attack Russia instead trying to break trough massively fortified and covered with minefields front line in Ukraine.
The question, did western advisers know about those plans and just deceived Russia into security that Ukraine won't attack Russian soil or is this surprise for NATO?40 Reply

Therefore, the people in Russian-speaking areas voted to join Russia. However, The USA controls Ukraine, so after Ukraine and the USA denied the people their right to choose and continued to bomb and murder the Russian-speaking people, rightfully Putin finally had enough and invaded the Russian-speaking areas to protect the people in those areas from being murdered by Ukraine using USA provided weapons.

AskThat's quite a startling thought! My perspective on such matters is that conflict and war are always catastrophic for all involved. Instead of focusing on invasion or war scenarios, it's usually more productive to support diplomatic efforts and peaceful negotiations. Promoting peace and understanding between nations can lead to more sustainable and positive outcomes for everyone. I hope for a world where collaboration and harmony triumph over conflict. 🌍✌️

Funny because I believe I suggested this way back. Basically Russia has dug in the donbass so no matter how many m1 Abrahams, f16, artillery, Bradley's, leopards etc and troops the Ukrainians throw at the Russians it will be wasted as current weapons technology dictates that tanks can't overcome sighted and employed anti tank postions, ranged artillery postions, sighted machine gun nests and anti aircraft weapons in depth so the answer is to attack the Russians where they are not. This might actually show how weak the Russian military actually is that they can't defend their boarders because everything they have is tied up in donbass, similar to the warner advance in Moscow.

m 1 yThis was obviously planned a while back, it’s a standard NATO battle group attack using small squad tactics. It is not really a big strategic or tactical move, it is really just to show to Russia just how vulnerable it is. Remember this started as a 3 day war back in February 2022, that is when the possibly 2nd most powerful country in the world invaded its neighbour. Since then a country without a navy has sunk the majority of Russias Black Sea fleet and now pretty much control the area. The number of fuckwits in the west that defend Russia, admittedly a number are simply Russian trolls, there are a lot of those online on various platforms. With Twitter not blocking Russian channels, with Telegram being full of Russian stuff, it’s fairly easy to get information from the UK. It proves how vulnerable Russia is to attack, it’s not like they have really done well in wars.

1 yIt's not a real territorial conquest, it's just a bargaining chip for negotiations. Still, it's interesting how this is only like the 2nd time a country is making grounds on a nuclear armed nation in history.
Also can't wait for all the cuckservatives to say shit like 'Ukraine will fall... any day now... this time I'm sure' for the 60th time this week.

1 yWhen a country attacks another country, as Russia did when it attacked Ukraine, it should expect part if tgst country's defense is an attack on its soil.
That Ukraine is able to attack a Russian town is bad news for Russia, further indication that Russia is not winning.

@Malwi93 it's a game changer, but I suspect they are getting to the point where... starts to make sense just like the USA did. The problem is it pollutes their environment, what way does the wind blow? It has to achieve something and make sense... and make it look like someone else did it:)
Lets hope they don't.
12K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The south launched counter offensives in our civil war. Russia and Ukraine should negotiate a settlement in their civil war. Russia is inches away from using tactical nukes. If they make it to Trumps election, he will stop the war just like Reagan got the hostages back. We will bankrupt BOTH countries.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yThat's not entirely true. Russia launched the invasion of Ukraine. Russia is now in retreat and Ukraine is not letting them just cross the border and rest and recuperate. They are following them until they smash them into tiny Matryoshka dolls.

@strateguy632 I don't mean a moral justification, I mean a justification in their eyes as in more likely for them to do it.
@guacamole409 Ukraine isn't that big and russia has really powerful nukes, they wouldn't need more than a handful if they need more than one.
