They are mainly for the bankers to siphon off wealth from the people... The word's currency system is centered around debt based money. Financing both sides of a war creates debt on both sides for the bankers to leech off. They print the money out of thin air by punching a few zeros into a computer, and you pay interest on it so that bankers can live in luxury without actually having to work for anything. Debt doubles every 8.8 years on average based on the future promise of the economy growing exponentially. The economy doesn't even come close to growing exponentially though. The economy is intimately tied to energy consumption in a linear function. Thus to compensate for this mathematical incongruence the economy should crash in an attempt to correct itself to a healthy state, but bankers hate losing money and seeing huge corrections in their stock portfolios so they turn on the juice and print like crazy and as a result inflation hits ordinary people really hard. I bet you're feeling the sting of inflation right now at the pump, at the grocery store, etc. That's how the world really works. If you want to solve your war problem, you have to solve your banking problem.
Just the people that make weapons and politicians. The rest of us all lose, some more than others. And it is usually the gift that keeps on giving. I was in Home Depot over the summer and a disabled VietNam war vet in a wheelchair could not get into the men's room. I lifted him out of the chair and helped him. He was probably wounded more than 50 years ago.

The people that make the guns and missiles and ammunition and all the things that are necessary for war benefit monetarily. In the US, these are the same people that "buy" politicians who then do their bidding and create wars as necessary for profits.
This is actually a good question, see where the incentives are. I'm not sure
Nato, the US government, us arms industry, US corporations with jntrests in Ukraine, US oil/gas companies
No one. "When you really think of it, nobody wins a war."
Politicians, bankers, generals, and military arms manufacturers benefit from war.
Unless you are killing horrible people then no one.
This is what happens when no one reads Mark Twain.
