Why only two options to choose from? I believe his army will get bogged down, it will drag on for weeks and then months, and either it will turn into another disaster like Afghanistan or the people of Russia will finally have enough of it all and remove that creep from office.

That is the West's story. Ukraine wouldn't be doing so well and putting barriers in their streets. Also , their President wouldn't be begging for help if they had Russia on the run.
