I don’t believe Trump ever actually “supported” Putin, when he was president President, Trump was harder on Putin and the Russian economy than Obama. But I think Fmr President Trump knew how to make foreign A-holes believe he was on their side, when he wasn’t. Remember when Korea was launching missiles toward Japan, and the debacle over a mistaken incoming missile attack in Hawaii? He began “complimenting” Kim Jong Un, and they famously met. After that the missiles stopped! Here are just a few of the negative things Trump did against Russia, that REALLY hurt the Russian economy:
1) He got the country not just energy independent, but made us a NET exporter of energy! Deeply hurting Russia & its’ economy
2) some of the toughest sanctions in years have fallen on Russia’s elite under the Trump administration. Sanctions imposed over Russia’s invasion of Crimea in 2014 have not been lifted, Trump approved the sale of lethal weapons to Ukraine — something Barack Obama did not do — and he has ordered missiles fired at Syrian military sites, openly targeting strategic operations and allies of Russia.
3) following the poisoning of former KGB agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in the U. K., the Trump administration expelled 60 Russian diplomats from the U. S.
4) Trump got NATO countries to FINALLY start paying their 2% GDP dues which hurts Russia.
5) Trump worked out a deal to stop Germany from buying Russian Natural Gas, instead undercutting Russia, and closing their pipeline to Germany. A loss of hundreds of billions to Russia annually! Money they would have used to buy $ developer new weapons systems

Why do you think Trump supports Putin?

He says all the time that he admires his intelligence and recognizes that if he's not the president he's going to walk all over us. Which is exactly what happened when he left.

It's just hard for me to understand how someone who actually listens to what he says could think this. A much more understandable argument could be that he himself I'd being outsmarted and doesn't realize it. (which I don't really see a reason to believe that either)

Why to liberals have to incite fear and rage in everything they do. Start first by opening your eyes behind NPR.

1. Trump is not part of a Russian collusion. We spent millions of tax payer dollars trying to prove he was and no evidence was ever brought forward. The entire saga was brought about by a secret report that was funded by Hilary Clinton and given to the FBI.

2. The biggest mistake people make is when they underestimate your competition. Trump knew full well how powerful Putin had become after the fall of the Iron Curtain. He wanted to find a way to co-exist, not become part of Russia. Trump projected power in the face of Putin and Putin stayed put. If trump had been his ally, Putin certainly would have started this fight much sooner.

3. Our "educated" political scientists coming our of our over priced colleges do not have more wisdom than the average American who works for a living. That statement of uneducated is part of the class divide issue liberals have. If you do not subscribe to their point of view, you are to be cancelled from society. That is why Putin is in power, Russia has been one party system for decades, and nobody is allow to challenge the party.

In the end, the mental health issues belong to those who cannot reach across party lines to find ways to solve problems rather than ways to create fear, hate and divide in our country.
