Also, this is a person who has given his life to public service for the past 40 years. He is one of the most renown experts in his field. He was one of the key people involved in developing treatments for HIV and AIDS. People today are living with it for 30 or 40 years in part because of his work. In the 80's, they had a year maybe 6-12 months to live after a diagnosis.
He's worked for 7 U. S. Presidents from both parties. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by a Republican. Yet somehow, cause he wouldn't echo the lies and propaganda of Donald Trump, he has become a villain to the millions of brainwashed, mindless morons who consider Trump their savoir. It's truly bizarre. At 80 years old, he certainly doesn't need to put up with this crap. And if you're concerned about his salary, he certainly could have made many millions had he gone into the private sector as chief scientist for a major drug company who would have given anything to have someone of his standing working for them. For someone who is one of the top people in his field in the world, $434,000 is chump change.
Also, let's remember, if people have issues with the vaccines, if people feel they are some sort of poison or designed to control you, the person who will tell you without hesitation he was the one responsible for their creation is none other than Donald Trump.
I'm neutral on him because though he made quiet a lot of mistakes he's a scientist. Their method of working is try and error. I don't see any country that handled Covid perfectly well. Plus being a Christian I'm called to honour elder people and not harm them. It's not my job to judge.
I know but whereas in other situations I´m not really sure if I had better than he did in handling Covid because in such situations regularly there is no right way. Whereas in every day life it´s easier to say I would do better or worse.
Of course it takes time to develop knowledge. But he never said, 'we don't know the answer.' No, he always made up an answer and when it was proven wrong, he never apologized or explained. Do you remember him telling us we didn't need to wear masks, then admittig that was a lie that he told only because he didn't want us to buy all the available masks and have none for healthcare workers? Then he told us that we needed to wear a mask. Then he told us that we needed to wear a double mask. Then the studies shwed that masks were extremely ineffective in slowing the spread of the virus.
Right wings are always mad when scientists disagree with them. It’s funny to see them so triggered by someone with a real education that doesn’t back down to any of their non sense. Talking scientific data to a conservative is like talking to a wall or teaching calculus to someone that has a lower IQ than their shoe size. It simply can’t be done. Anyone who disagrees and tries to oust him really just screams how hard headed they are with science and any education for that matter.
Honestly Fauci deserves credit for doing what his job and having a high education that backs it.

Interesting. Trump was president and it would have been his administration to use those tax dollars to create it. Why would he want to do that? Why would he want to have his people go to all that trouble, either working with the Chinese as partners to spread it or hide it from the Chinese and spread it in China so the world would blame China not the U. S., do all that and then claim it wasn't serious and would just go away in a month of two because he realized it could hurt his re-election chances? Perhaps you can explain to me what his logic would have been in using tax dollars to do that?

Also, you claim the vaccines are "poison". It was Trump who drove the creation of the vaccines. He worked with the drug companies to create them. It was his administration that approved people taking the vaccines and said they were safe. All that was done while he was president and he'll be the first to take credit for them being created. If you believe the vaccines are poison, do you think Donald Trump should also be tried for crimes against humanity. They're HIS vaccines after all, aren't they?

@Daniela1982 And just FYI, when structural weight bearing steel columns melt at extremely high temperatures and can no longer support the weight they was designed to bear, the effect of them melting and how a building would fall is pretty much identical to what the effect would be if those same structural steel columns were imploded and effectively disintegrated by explosives. From your writing skills, you are clearly very well educated and an extremely smart person. It's been a great experience going back and forth with someone like you, pointing out repeatedly that the very things you claim to have issue with, creating Covid, vaccines being poison all happened under and by the administration of Donald Trump and/or Donald Trump directly and then watching you work mightily to create a rationale to blame it all on Biden and claim instead it's all Biden's fault. I think he has provided a very valuable service to his country. I'd add that he did not have to do so. At his age and given what I assume is a healthy nest egg, he could have just said, "I'm too old for this sh! t" and walked away. But he didn't. And he has had to put up with a LOT of crap from the alt-right for doing his job, following the science and doing his best to stem the pandemic.
