My wife is a clueless Liberal that believes every word her particular echo chamber / biased opinion news outlet and social media opinion bubble allows her to hear and see and treats biased political opinions all like empirical fact that can not be disputed by anyone even with proof sowing that she is wrong , she just believes whatever the majority of her liberal social media followers think and votes the same exact way "propaganda driven social media influence" Intolerant Liberal hypocritical Bigots are the ones who think political views are reason enough to justify the hatred they accuse others of with no proof other than social media opinions and the number of likes they get for posting intolerant things and labeling others with different political views as the exact same thing they can't see in themselves doing to others Judging someones moral character and incorrectly treating them different because of it's just wrong to do to anyone My wife thought otherwise and started treating me in the same way others were treating Trump supporters across the country as her social media and Liberal News stations made this hostility socially acceptable and she is still oblivious to how biased and judgmental she acts over peoples political differences and thought Doxxing Republicans was them "them getting what they deserve"
Liberal's that vote Democrat on name alone are the people that hypocritically use political beliefs as a justifiable reason to ask questions like this and the ones that say someone else's political beliefs that are different than their own is more than enough reason to divorce or not date someone shows the kind of biased mentality and intolerant bigotry they have that they accuse others of without realizing they are even worse because they are blinded to the fact they are no different than who they hate and discriminate against for the same reasons they say are wrong for people to do
TO the Liberal female person that posted this Learn how to not use political bias to make sweeping statements about large populations you avoid and incorrectly label because it shows how hypocritically intolerant, judgmental and narrow minded your political beliefs are and paints a clear picture of who you are as a person by not recognizing the same things you claim others are guilty and are guilty of being yourself without even being aware of it
U r right! My husband is from Mexico but his best friend is this hillbilly Redneck who is his idol. This old guy is a conservative republican 100%. He's a funny guy, he's a Vietnam Vet, but views women as the underdog. He's also racist/prejudice and is nvr afraid to say what's on his mind. So.. his influence has contributed I think to my husband's controlling tactics.
It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. The same way religion isn't. The same way a star sign isn't. The same way nationality isn't. The same way race isn't. The same way a career isn't. Just because we don't agree on certain things doesn't mean we can't be together. What matters is that you share mutual respect for each other's perceptive on things.
If a political party and their viewpoints define who they are and what drives their personality, I wouldn't date them regardless if their party affiliation. I don't want a relationship with a person who is close minded and not willing to have a civil and logical discussion. by the way, I'm an independent moderate.
Honestly, with out extreme and divided the parties are, I'm not sure. It would still have to be with the right person.
I am of a group that one party seems to have issues with on a fundamental basis. That would serious conflict with my ability to be in a relationship with someone.
Not so much party (in my country there's more than 2) but I definitely couldn't date a person who's too liberal. It's not even just politics but broader worldview. I'm conservative and want a partner whose worldview alings with mine.
The main ones are Labour and Nationalist parties. Then there's the crazy Christian party, the almost green party, the sorta racist party and the actual liberal party, and the guy whose paying for boob jobs.
I am a conservative Republican on most topics and my spouse is not. We connect on our values and many of our views. Plus we are 100% respectful of each others beliefs ans wishes.

NO. The Dems have crossed the Rubicon with their commie antics, general sedition, and madness. It's too late for "bipartisan dating". I would consider dating someone of a certain political party only they immediately left said party and disavowed all of its crazy shenanigans like calling for coco shots for 6-month-olds, permanent masking of toddlers, ETC.
I can, so long as they don't make politics a huge focal point in the relationship. Hell, my girlfriend and I have different views, but we don't focus on them.
I’m a conservative Republican and won’t date anyone who isn’t the same political party as me. I find the left and Democrats are the only ones pushing this vaccine program
Politics don't even matter to me anymore, as long as they're not liberal. I'm not saying they can't be leftist. Just not liberal. Maybe other people are into it, just not me.
I can date outside if my party, but just depends on how extreme they are as well. I am registered for one, but look at all the pros and cons of the people who run.
@aphrodite801 I could never date someone who wasn't in the same political party as me because I want to date a like-minded woman. Thus, I will never date a woman who's a liberal.
I didn't vote on this poll. Personally, I think if politics is all her personality revolves around, I would steer far away from her even more than an ugly fat 1980s dodge caravan looking tramp
