I think it's proof that the elites who control the mainstream media aren't even trying to propagandize effectively anymore. It legitimately hurts my head to see them make up something, the "Don't Say Gay" bill and then see these UTTER FUCKING RETARDS on social media and the Oscars, constantly saying "gay" as if that has anything to do with the bill or will change anything. This is like some shit out of The Office. Like when Michael Scott thinks just verbally shouting (declaring) "Bankruptcy!" will solve his problems. And unlike many things, this IS sheer stupidity because just saying "Gay! Gay! Gay!" literally does nothing. It's not even a good distraction.
But as for what the bill actually does? Yes, I am 100% for it. And I am a teacher myself, if it matters. I know parents (Korean parents, in particular) can sometimes be annoying, but this isn't one of those times. They have every right to not have sickos trying to brainwash their children under the age of 12 with LGBT indoctrination. I think these people are really going to out themselves as being predators and creeps.
There’s a big problem in that the language is vague, it’s not JUST for K-3 as they’re trying to say it is. I don’t think anyone is truly worried about K-3, it kind of just gives proponents of the bill a weird perceived “out” from the argument, like “bro, are you a pedophile? These are little kids!”
Here’s what the biggest issue is, in the literal language of the bill: it states that classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity is barred “in kindergarten through grade 3 OR IN A MANNER THAT IS NOT AGE APPROPRIATE OR DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE FOR STUDENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE STANDARDS.” That leaves endless leeway for any teacher or school adminstrator, K-12, to invoke this bill, simply because they personally have a problem with homosexuality, and you just can’t allow that. I’m sorry to inform anyone who believes otherwise, but people are just born gay, they don’t get coached into it, just lmfao if anyone believes that. So these kids will be gay no matter what your rules are about discussing or acknowledging it. And if you REALLY care about children, you should be all for fostering their development, because those gay children are going to have rough go of it if we treat them like they’re weird just because of their natural sexual orientation.
So don’t believe the hype that it’s “only K-3”, the language of the bill is very deliberately vague and will undoubtedly be abused by holy rollers who just have some weird disdain for homosexuality across the board.
I think it's funny that they've made it so vague so they can discriminate and it's back fired because now according to the bill you cannot refer to anyone by gendered terms so everyone is now they/them, you cannot talk about parents as "mum's" or "dad's" because those are gendered terms. You cannot talk about relationships because those reference a persons sexuality.
"A school district may not encourage discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in
primary grade levels or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students."
Very vague. What an individual thinks is appropriate varies person to person. I think it's appropriate for children to learn about sexuality and gender identity at a young age. The way I would teach that if I were a teacher may be against what a parent deems appropriate.
by the way republicans have introduced a bill in that essentially legalizes child marriages... yeah all this moralizing and shame tactics used by the right over the don't say gay bill is complete bullshit...

@Razp_Sorbet If you are in New Zealand you should stay out of our business.
Is this really a problem in Florida, or is this a solution looking for a problem? I don’t live in Florida.
Yes, it's a very serious and shockingly common thing across the country. Here in California, more than a dozen teachers have been fired in the last 3 years over these kinds of things, and usually it's because they were caught on video so they couldn't deny it.
A young girl who doesn't like the skirt she's wearing or wants to play softball with the boys (or whatever other excuse activist teachers can find), and the school will start teaching the kid that she (it's mostly girls, who are more impressionable) is transgender. They will give her a new name and teach her to use different pronouns, and even get her different clothes to wear at school. They sometimes go as far as discussing gender reassignment surgery and hormone therapy. IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!
And not only do they not involve the parents, they ACTIVELY hide this from them and deny they are doing it.
Most people are not paying attention to what these Trans activists are doing, and woke activists in general. But when parents DO find out - even parents who thought they were "allies" but had no idea how far they had gone, they lose their minds, and rightfully so. This is why parents have been taking over school boards all over the country and getting the activists thrown out.
It's not a bit of an exaggeration to say that these people are grooming kids - that's exactly what they doing. This bill prevents them from having these conversations with K through 3rd graders without involving the parents - but the activists are furious, because they ARE and want to CONTINUE to do this without involving the parents. Ask yourself why that is...

Democrats view public education as their best opportunity to indoctrinate our youth and this bill is intended to prevent that. I fully support this bill. Public education should be about academic learning, not social values.
I agree that social values shouldn't be indoctrinated, but I think we might be better off if our primary education system was more like Japan's. They are taught responsibility and the importance of moral values before they begin in academics. They way there won't be as many morally bankrupt people with power.
The media has been operating on the maxim of "if you tell a lie often enough, it starts to sound like the truth".
I'm on board with this bill completely. Personally, I wish DeSantis had gone further with it. But at least he's doing something to protect children.
There is nothing in the bill about "Don't Say Gay". That phrase was invented by liberals who want to attack the bill. All the bill does is restrict what teachers in public schools can teach about sexuality to young students, which many people think is a good thing... teaching sexuality should be left up to parents. Let teachers stick with the basic curriculum... reading, writing, math.
As I understand it from a gay guy, the bill doesn’t even mention the word gay anywhere. It was a way for people to create a reaction to try and kill the bill according to him. He supports it (oh no, how can that be some people say, lol) and so do I. Let kids be innocent, they believe in Santa and haven’t even been through puberty.
According to the bill you can't mention any sexuality or gendered terms. Meaning you can't talk about families, and you can't refer to kids by their pronouns. Books would have to be removed, curriculums completely redone, bathrooms would become genderless. It's everything they've been fighting against 🤣
@Razp_Sorbet it’s a law now. Have you read it?
@Razp_Sorbet Yes, yes. The passive aggressiveness of the far wacky left. It’s why you will be destroyed in the mid-term elections.
Sir I'm not American nor am I a part of the government. I won't be destroyed I'm anything.
@Razp_Sorbet well using gendered terms and teaching about them are very different. Also it doesn’t say you can’t call people by their terms, it says you can’t keep secrets from their parents or guardians
@OmegaSTC "A school district may not encourage discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in
primary grade levels or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students."
Discussion can be as simple as "miss teacher why does Sally have two mum's" as I said in my opinion comments what is considered appropriate varies person to person, family to family. It's way too vague. Some teachers are opting to go extra safe because they don't want their school district to be sued.
@Razp_Sorbet that’s not even talking about teachers. It’s saying it can’t be ordered by the school district
@Razp_Sorbet sheesh the district refers to those who the administration works for. So yes, the teachers work for the district, but there can’t be an over aching expectation by the district to make a teacher teach a certain way. It’s leaving it up to the teachers
Only the people opposed to it call it the don't say gay bill. The only logical reason I can see people who aren't the children's parents being opposed to it is if they want to have sex with children. It should be called the 'let them be kids' or the 'No sex in school' bill. What is one good thing that can come from teaching an elementary school kid about sex?
You mean the anti-groomer bill? Doesn’t go far enough. We need to protect our kids from these wicked predators who think they have a right to teach young impressionable children sexually explicit materials.
I think we need a full ban on LGBTQs. Exile them to Antarctica or some place even more isolated than that.
We certainly don't need the perverts grooming children to follow in their footsteps.
Yet another example of GOP lawmakers passing laws that pretend something bad is happening that isn't. Unfortunately it both works to get them votes and hurts children.
So they aren’t having drag queen story hour or teaching children about how sodomy is natural?
@True_Sage Do you think you're making some kind of point about anyone but yourself?
@True_Sage Strange, because it seems that you're just spouting a stream of baseless insults. Maybe you're not smart enough to tell the difference.
@True_Sage So, what exactly does that flag say to you? I think it says that I think invasions of democratic countries in my back yard are bad.
@True_Sage The Asov battalion is basically the same as the US militia.
The ousted president was amazingly corrupt (look up his palace), and ordered the killing of protesters. There have actually been proper elections since then. The biolabs are from the USSR, not new and Ukrainian, and Russia agreed not to invade Ukraine, which they promptly did in 2014.
It seems you'll believe anything you read on "truth" social.
The biolabs have been funded by the US.
How stupid are you to think it has something to do with the long dead USSR?
You don't even know anything about your own part of the world.
That's pretty bad - - - and your take on the Russia-leaning pres before 2014 is just propagandistic oversimplification.
He would have protected Ukraine from the incredible debt they gained under IMF. Ukraine will have their national resources stolen by bankers just like Boliva, Greece, etc. You don't know shit.
The bioweapons and biological agents developed there are new you idiot.
If it's completely old with old materials why would anyone be worried about Russia getting bio-agents they already had long ago? That wouldn't be valuable.
These are agents that would be useful to russia.
YOU believe anything. You're painfully naive. But what do you expect from another NPC bearing that lame old flag. Oh well. More of those nazis will be 6 feet under.
And yes. Asov is a Nazi battalion. You have no issue with that huh?
OK nazi lover.
I didn't know you guys were that slow you actually try to blame the Soviet Union for these continously maintained biolabs. It's not 50 year old viruses. Why would that be of heavy interest, a high security concern, and require much of their base material to be moved?
Seriously... where is your brain?
Anyway...
Point is Putin has every right to destroy Ukraine.
If it's fine for america to invade Iraq over WMD that didn't exist it's fine for Russia to attack over chemical weapons that DO exist. That you've admitted to, and we all know about. How you defend all that modified anthrax and etc and pretend they're 100% good guys is beyond me.
I wish Putin well destroying these biolabs, and exterminating the nazi Asov battallion among others. He is protecting his border from NATO aggression / expansionists. Go Putin.
this guys another troll... pay him no mind
I wish the governor in my state would have the courage to di this. Hopefully the next governor will do this.
I hate it. It's just a way for schools to have an excuse when a gay child is being bullied that the school doesn't help them
Absolutely nothing prevents the school from helping the child - they're just required to notify the parents under the new law. The activists want to be able to manipulate the kids WITHOUT contacting the parents, and in fact, concealing it from parents and directly denying that they're doing it.
The anti-grooming bill is perfect. The people upset about it are mad they can’t talk to 3 years olds about perversion.
Living on earth just becomes more annoying by the second
Any woman I meet who is offended by that bill will be exploited, manipulated, and psychologically abused until I get bored. Stupid sheep deserve to be treated like the mindless animals that they are
It should be 5th grade, not 3rd. "Gay" is nowhere in the bill.
Whew, I thought I was gonna have to claim I'm from another state real quick
Its the lefts woke attempt to stop child grooming. Good i don't want my child to be taught these sick ways of the lgbtq fucks.
I'm confused. I thought the left were against it?
I love it. Thank God for Desantis. He should run for president.
Their movement isn’t even about equality anymore it’s about recruiting
I haven't read the bill but if Republicans are promoting it it's garbage.
I support it. We shouldn’t be teaching gender ideology crap in schools
It is a wonderful Law! There is no need to pressure little kids about sex. Let them be kids!
You mean parental rights in education?
I say "gay as a $3 bill"
Should be mandatory on all 50 states
gay butt
Voted.
