Did you ever had people avoid you because of your origin?

It happens to me a lot that some heavy number of people avoid me because I‘m British and they think because of that I have a superiority complex, am extremely arrogant, or do like gen X British stuff?

I thought the world loves British people? Lol.

No, not really. I'm from Connecticut but really nothing about how I look, walk or talk is leftist in any way, it's obvious that I'm conservative and that only scares the right people off
