Racism is a 19th century pseudoscience that classifies humans by physical characteristics. We are all humans, Homo sapiens. We started in small groups or tribes. It is in our psychology to be tribal. Most differences are cultural or religious. But racism is a huge business that brings in multi millions and it is not going away as long as there is money to be made.

I mean all you needed to do is be observant and pay attention. When immigrants from Mexico was in the front lines I personally saw some of my coworkers being treated terribly and called horrible names. When COVID-19 was in full force I saw and heard the way that people talked about people from Asia. When people were protesting for racial equality I heard the way some of my own family talked about people of color.

Still the highest rate of black employment so yes they were the happiest back then. This stuff is way blown out of proportion if you actually talk to people around that time. Blacks and whites got along just fine.

Rosa Parks became a symbol of the civil rights movement because she refused to give up her seat on a bus that’s it and she became an icon. Have you ever seen roots? Or 12 years a slave? I’m sure there were slave owners who took good care of the slaves but they were still enslaved bought and forced to work against their will.
