If you had your doctor or lawyer sporting tattoo's would you still want that doctor to treat you or the lawyer to represent you?

You may not think anything of it, but what about further down the line when the lawyer has tattoos on the places where the judge and the jury will see them? It might influence your case and not in your favor. Think about it.

I AM a lawyer, I practice in a fairly conservative part of Florida, and I don't know of ANY lawyer who has tattoos that are visible when they are wearing their working attire.

I think not. It would be unprofessional to have visible tattoos if you are going to represent somebody in court or are going to operate on a patient.

I definitely do not want an attorney sporting tattoos representing me in a court of law. I wouldn't care of my doctor has a tattoo, but I might start searching for a new doc if the tattoo is a snake slithering through the eye sockets of a skull or something else along those lines.

I would not mind. As long as their tattoos don’t represent something harmful, I don’t care, I don’t judge.


If their ratings are good and they are known to be a great lawyer or doctor, then I trust that they are good. Tattoos don’t immediate someone a bad person, or bad at their profession, but of course people judge a book by its cover.

Tattoos mean nothing towards a person's ability to competently or compassionately perform their job. I have zero issue with anyone with tattoos in these positions.
