The idea of individual responsibility is really unacceptable to those on the far left. Being able to do whatever you want and not being held accountable is a siren's song when you are 18-21 years old.
Unless you were raised by my parents. Growing up they wouldn’t even let me relax on the TV for five minutes. LOL
Its because the real morons here are the men who think women are capable of being responsible. Generally they aren't. Most women behave like children with some maturing in their 50s and 60s when they have no sexual value anymore. The muslims do have that right with how they treat their women. They protect them and discipline them and lead them to being good wives and mothers. Same as American Christians used to do not even 100 years ago. Give children the freedoms of an adult and this is what you get.
This the problem with pro-lifers. You guys automatically assume women get abortions because they were being "irresponsible." A woman can take all the precautions in the world to prevent getting pregnant but can still get pregnant anyway. Birth control can fail and it does. This shows how ignorant you guys really are. Also, a woman who gets raped and gets pregnant should always have the right to an abortion. It's not her fault and she wasn't being irresponsible.
How about the problem with pro-choice supporters?
Many characterize those who are pro-life as wanting to take away a woman’s freedom, independent, and body autonomy.
Many characterize every single pro-life supporter as unreasonable religious people.
Don’t you think, there’s a lot of things that both sides have said about the other that aren’t necessarily true, reasonable, or fair?
This is the problem with the anti-abortion movement. I can't support a movement that wants to take away a woman's body autonomy. I also can't respect people who want to take away this right from women. I'm sorry. I'm okay with people who don't support or disapprove of abortion but I'm really not okay with people who want to ban or take away this choice.
If pro-life people didn't try to ban and at least allow women the right to choose then I can hear out your arguments. I'd be willing to listen to what you have to say. I also think pro-lifers should focus on reducing abortion but not 100% banning it. Banning anything doesn't work. Look how prohibition turned out. Plus, I've come to not trust pro-lifers because I find plenty who are extremely judgmental and have self-righteous attitudes.
This is why I tend to think very negatively of them. There are also some who are so bad that they want to punish the healthcare professionals who perform abortions like sentencing them to life in prison or giving them the death penalty. Also, some could even care less if a woman gets harmed or killed for having an abortion. I've come across so many of these people on here.
I know not all pro-life people are bad but there are plenty who are horrible people. I can respect other people's opinions and beliefs as long as they don't force their beliefs on other people. This is what a lot of pro-lifers do. Many people dislike militant vegans and religious zealots for the same reason. I know I'm not alone in how I feel and I know there are many pro-choice people who feel the same way I do, including the men.
I also know that not all pro-lifers are religious just like there are pro-choice people who aren't atheists. A lot of pro-choice people say that pro-lifers don't really care about babies once they're born and that they only care before they're born. I don't think that's true with every pro-lifer but it seems that way with a lot of them. So I guess that's another misconception about pro-lifers that you may consider unreasonable or unfair. Sorry for the long rant. I'm just trying to address your questions.
I suppose the men getting pissed about it are also upset that they have to be sexually responsible?
Sorry, I didn't answer the question, no I'm not pissed because I've always been sexually responsible, but I work in healthcare so from a medical standpoint I worry about the implications of this.
Yes some of them are. Because there are stupid men out their that will say or do anything to not wear a condom even if they know the woman they are with isn't using any form of contraception. Also given that it takes a man and woman to create a child preventing a unwanted is the responsibility of both. Yet these are men who are very quick to push all of the responsibility onto women. So if abortion is not allowed outside of circumstances such as rape it will force men to be more responsible as well. No more "Well she can always get a abortion" as a excuse for being stupid about sex on their end as well.

100% of unwanted pregnancies are caused by men being sexually irresponsible.
It’s women’s own body no?
There are many cases where pregnancy can occur without the consent of a woman. There are no cases where pregnancy can occur without the full intention of the man. Well, maybe weird Viagra in the water b. s. but I mean in real life. It is >slightly< more pleasurable to ejaculate without a condom. Taking that slightly more pleasure in exchange for risking the heath, welfare, safety, and social status of the woman is a shitty thing to do and, more importantly, absolutely the man's doing.
We’re not talking about rape or nonconsensual means.
If a woman says she rather have a condom on her man, her man refuses, and she’s like “oh okay, sure why not.“
Women have to enforce whatever preferences or rules they have.
They can’t let men walk all over them.
If she says no and sticks to that.
Whatever a man does after is his fault and can be considered rape.
If a woman is just lazy and doesn’t care.
Then…. She’s lazy and doesn’t care.
As the late Patrice O’ Neal has said
“Safe sex is a woman’s responsibility.”
You know men.
Men will have sex anywhere, anytime, and any condition lol.
They’ll listen, but a woman has to set boundaries.
Yeah, cause sexual abuse and rape is women's fault, of course! 🙄
@Cubus
Yes, I’ve seen and heard this as well.
Less than 1% of abortions are done due to a woman being a survivor of rape.
There is a lot of women irresponsibility & unaccountability when it comes to sex. Also, this can be said for men too.
You cannot control another person’s behavior.
You can have more control over your actions though.
As a woman, it should be up to you to choose your partners carefully, not have sex too soon, have protected sex, don’t do a lot of hard drugs, don’t hang around people who may be poor role models, etc.
I can say the same for men, but women can become pregnant, aren’t as physically strong as men, etc.
These can make women more victims of violence or if they are experiencing violence—less of a chance that they come out alive from this or suffer great bodily harm/injury.
If a woman leaves herself vulnerable to rape and abuse she doesn’t bear any responsibility? Not saying I don’t sympathize with her but at the end of the day, there were still things most rape victims could have done differently to prevent the rape
@WhiteBoyChill she doesn't deserve an intellectual response.
@lofii Of course it is, it is always the rapists fault. Getting drunk is not a license to rape someone... this is why rapists should be executed. Someone who thinks, she's drunk its her fault if I fuck her, not mine... doesn't ever deserve to live life again after they take it from someone.
@WhiteBoyChill Your talking about the rape culture right there, its partially her fault for doing or not doing something. Just like when people say, if they see a naked girl walking by them, she obviously wants to have sex, so lets have sex... what they don't know is she just escaped from a rapist who stripped her and took her cloths.
It is NEVER the victims fault, she never asks for it and it is 100% always the attackers fault and the attacker should be executed to prevent it from ever happening again.
@Aerissa_Jade I don’t understand. If some girl gets drunk at a bar and goes over to some stranger guy’s house for the night, she couldn’t have done anything differently?
@WhiteBoyChill A drunk person cannot legally consent, but I also took it to mean she got drunk and was like that girl in the alley being raped by that guy that made the news... while she was unconscious.
You know she is passed out, so have sex with her.
@Aerissa_Jade The point I’m trying to make is that women should know its unsafe to get drunk around strangers
@WhiteBoyChill right, so your solution is to limit people rather than make it safer for them to have fun? It's not the women's fault that some men are predators and can't keep it in their pants.
The hell you talking about? I’m just saying women need to act more responsibly when they’re in public
You’re acting as though this is a one way street. Why don’t women have to do their part in making themselves safer?
The victim bears some responsibility for leaving themselves vulnerable to the aggressor
She really is not wrong about this. I heard today that the CDC is all in on latex underwear to stop STDs. They say that teens are being too careless about having sex. It is ridiculous.
So damn true.
But some people can't stand it.
I can agree with this meme to a certain extent because in other cases such as rape or incest, you can't say it's all mental negligence
This is just what they consider an exciting weekend...
Yes, abortion must be illegal in absolutely ALL cases, the irresponsibility of these women must not be pandered or tolerated, women must be controlled to prevent them from being promiscuous.
Wow dude, are you the freaking ass Taliban
Exactly.
You are a freaking loser, get a life
😂😂😂 cry cuck cry.
Well I am not the one who agrees with the Taliban
That's why I say it, idiot.😂
Roe vs Wade is here to stay and people need to get out of other people lives
Responsibility is not continuing an unwanted pregnancy. I can't imagine being stuck with that.
I prefer the abolishment of child support but yes I agree.
Of course she's right lmao.
Nope.
To you, everything I have to say on this topic is invalid because I’m a man.
Now, I know you don’t agree with what the woman has said above, but I just want to say that what she’s said and what I’ve said on this topic have been identical.
Well on this topic it is valid because it has nothing to do with you or your body
No, I don't. Forced pregnancy is torture.
I agree with it.
yup, she's right.
100% agree with her.
