It's a myriad of things. It started with the defunding and shutting down of "involuntary" mental health facilities that began in the 1970s in the United States. Just about all of them were gone by the mid 1990s. So it's no surprise that Columbine happened in 1999, and it's gotten progressively worse since then. Now you also have the increasing "allure" of the copycat effect the more it happens, and the addition of social media. Nearly two years of pandemic shutdown didn't help either.
are you sure they are going up? or just hyped more? If they are going up, my answer is that we now have lots of people who were raised by a single parent that are now single parents themselves, Since they never learned a lot of critical things they have zero chance of teaching them to their kids so their kids are fucked
because who is going to provide a positive male/female role model and how is the child going to see how two people compromise and make things work? How is this boy going to learn how to change a tire (be masculine) and who is going to help the girl with "girl stuff" competently? They don't learn to cope and worse yet if both parents are trying to be the child's "friend" to win favor by being lenient they won't have any emotional armor to deal with other people who aren't in the world for the sole purpose of pleasing them.
Society has become week or the person due to Society and take the easy option. Back in the earlier days no one would just shoot for no real reason. Fuck I've had access to guns and been in a fight but there was no way I'll go and shoot anyone even though you briefly think it
None of those three options. It’s how easy it is to get guns. Mental health is a factor but it doesn’t help when shooters with how simple it is to get a gun.
I tackled someone who the Police were chasing before. At the time I never knew he was being chased, I only forced him down to the ground because I saw him push an elderly lady over.
People's other means of being heard are taken away. We need more speech and more accountability so these kinds of crazy last resort efforts are prevented.
My guess is right wingers thought their magical thinking was on the cusp of being relevant and are now going bonkers over the loss of just one election taking that all away from them.
Insecurity is already pretty general by default. It is up to each of us to figure out how to cope. Clearly, some manage better than others and those who manage poorly tend to lash out. That's not really a generalization so much as a studied cause and effect.
I think it’s a combination of a lot of things, probably. People are living less peaceful and simple lives than they used to. Plus the covid thing that we had to live through
There are a great number of mass killing sprees that don’t get talked about on national or international news media. Typically most only get talked about on local or alternative news media if at all.

Why is single parenting so evil?

It's not actually easy to get a gun.
@ImNoSith it actually is. At least in texas.

you're like 40 still acting like an emo moron. You resent right wungers because they represent the father figure you never had. Cuck
In real life I'm just irritated that right wingers work so hard to make their insecurity everyone else's problem.
Sounds like you and the rest of the LGBT mafia. But don't generalize others right? Fgt

Nah things are more peaceful.
My guess, as probably many have already state, is purely hate. There is so much hate and almost no reason to be compassionate towards your opposition.
There is a lot of angst all around world coming out of a pandemic. Or hopefully coming out of it.
The US had to make up for lost time what with the pandemic closing everything for a year.

All the white supremacist mass shooters have literally admitted it’s from racism. Not sure why this is a question?…
Stress, hopelessness, lack of purpose, unresolved anger
Uncorrected bad behavior as children.
Biden /Democratic Party way of running the country and making life miserable for everyone. That will cause many people to shoot other people.
It's only in America because for some reason this nation holds their gun hobby more sacred than human life.
Cuck
Mass shootings (4 or more victims by definition) happen more often in low income urban settings.
Unfortunately the media does not want to deal with those who commit the most mass shootings in fear of being called racist.
Fox"news" Q-anon nutjobs and Tukkker Comrad Carlson..
Hatred can only lead them to death they're too stupid to care about the world they really want the world to come to an end
Illegal immigration.
In my country we have few immigrants and cities are super safe. You can be a woman and walk the city in the night and nothing's gonna happen to you.
