LGBTQ+ people, are hetero-cis people that are supportive of your community members of your community or outside supporters?

So bassically this is a technicality. I am a hetero-cis woman and I consider myself a supporter or at least friendly to your cause and community. If I am ever asked if I am part of the LGBTQ+ community do I say:

Yes, I am and maybe add, that I am a cis-hetero women if it would be otherwise confusing.

No, I am not but supportive of their community.

Other. Please specify.

I actually have a question kinda like this. Mostly, I am curious if you can support people in the LGBTQ community, without supporting the movement itself? I know some parts of the movement get a bad wrap.

Well support the people on a personal level if you know them. Also if you feel like their movement is not worth supporting, talk to them on a non hateful and respectful level. Most "critique" is voiced as hate towards them, and I agree that they shouldn't be concerned with opinions of haters. So if you have constructive critique talk to them maybe you learn more about them and they will actually hear you.
