I don't understand the transgender community. I am aware that it will never go away. I won't tell a trans person that I don't believe them to their face. I understand everything but transgender; gay, lesbian, bi, etc.

I am a woman, and I am aware of that, but I do not base my identity on that fact. It is not what drives me through the day. I seldom think about the fact that I'm a woman. I'm a woman, but I don't see how my life would differ if I were a man. I don't know how people are fighting for equality between men and women, fighting for men and women to be the same in some capacity, and at the same time, think transgender is logical. What is such a change compared to the gender assigned at birth? If you are trans, please explain this to me. I would love to understand, but as of this point, I don't.

I can't in good conscience support it. It's not because I want those with gender dysphoria to suffer, it's because the last thing you want to do for people who have such a condition is to affirm them.

You wouldn't want to tell a man who thinks he is a woman that he is indeed a woman and vice versa any more so than telling and anorexic that they are indeed fat or a schizophrenic that the voices they hear are from God and that they must be obeyed.

Considering that putting people who have this condition through countless surgeries and we don't see any significant change in their overall happiness in life should be telling us that we should probably try something else. Instead of considering that, our culture just says that it's because people don't accept them. It's one possibility but I strongly doubt that it applies to all or even most cases.

People end their own lives for a variety of reasons such as loss of sense of purpose and fear that their existence brings nothing but pain to those around them. Social rejection could fall in either of those but I'd imagine it would have to be pretty serious for one to consider suicide, which is the only upside to the community. It provides companionship for those who are victims of bad psychological and medical practices that are more or less irreversible whether they realize it or not.

Either way, I don't think this trend has much longer to live. I am willing to bet that the vast majority of those who undergo these surgeries don't actually have the condition and are doing it because it makes them stand out, costing them their ability to reproduce. Soon, more people who are against transitioning will outnumber those who transition due to the willful ending of the bloodlines of those who transition.

No because I have a different definition of identity since to me there is no identity besides my body. Like I could leave my body and not die I would lose a big part of my identity as well. For me there was never a question if I could be something else than a guy though I have klinefelter meaning my genetic code is XXY. Like I get that there are people that really have a hard time figuring who they are. But at least as far as I know that´s a small minority. I don´t think that arguing there are a 100 genders will ever help anyone but instead create only even more confusion.
From my point of view it´s getting especially confusing when people use gender and sexual orientation like synonyms. I fear like there will never be an answer or a solution to that because people get so confused that will spend their whole life orientating everything around that.

No, you right that trans are obsessed with gender, a "transman" could easily been a tomboy, also "transwomen" are ruining female sports, men born stronger than women, it's nature.

I don't support it but I don't stand in the way of it unless I feel transgender rights infringe on womens/mens rights. (I don't believe transgender people are the gender they'd prefer to be). They less so infringe on men's rights but they heavily infringe on women's rights which I believe is wrong. The majority should not have to confirm to the minority
