Weapon laws, pregnancy laws, equality laws. Alll that seems to an outsider as if america is trying to evolve to a state of medieval age they never had. Guns instead of swords, laws against it instead of no medical possibility but in the end it seems the same.
Explain how any of that is an advancement instead of a step backwards. Also some americans want autocracy similar to kings or other rulers. (Trump)

New York tried to violate people’s rights and discriminate against groups of people. Thus they were struck down for violating the law.

The tenth amendment is also pretty clear:

Roe v. Wade was a tyrannical overstep by the federal government. Those actions were criminal actions that violated the law. You sound pretty uneducated. At least you’re getting educated on the law. You are for education aren’t you? That's a positive right?

Wait the right to your own body decisions while it doesn't harm another person is a right that is beeing taken away. I always say, never take a sword to a gunfight. One of the main purposes of government is to keep citizens safe. The recent Administration is either unable or unwilling to do this. We have eliminated cash bail, do not prosecute many crimes, ignored immigration laws, defunded the police and other policies that are detrimental to American citizens. Why is it a surprise when people are exercising their 2nd amendment rights and arm themselves for protection from these policies.

Then why is it that most people on the pro gun side are not concerned about free healthcare, better education, less risk of dying in pregnancy, better social care? That would help much more people to keep safe and healthy than guns, which are literally there to hurt or kill people.

I purchase a handgun ans a shotgun recently. I went for firearms training for a couple of weeks. I did not want ro do this but felt that the cops would not be able to keep my family safe. I was freaked out about this even though I keep them locked in a safe. After the training I feel a lot safer now. As far as free healthcare , better education or better social care, I doubt that any of that will protect me from a junkie looking to steal my big screen TV.

guns cannot solve all problems and I have taken great pains to use these weapons safely and store them safely as well. I have talked with other people at the range and they are not what I expected. There were nobody there that I would classify as a gun nut. mot people had similar sentiment as me. They were disillusioned by the government and wanted an extra level of protection.
