Anonymous(18-24)+1 yHmm. If only there existed some form of birth control besides killing the baby while still in the womb. LOL
This is NOT the middle ages. If a woman wants to prevent pregnancy, they have the option of all kinds of birth control. They could take birth control pills which are very effective, or an even better option is the depo shot, which is like 99.9% effective. I am a woman and I take depo shots, plus I also insist that the guy wear a condom, just for STD protection. The depo shot plus condoms, means I do not ever have to worry about getting pregnant. Women today have complete control over when they get pregnant.. There are other options, such as morning-after remedies. If a woman gets pregnant, it is because she made that choice.
Also, these women bitching about abortion "rights" all have one thing in common.. the never get an early abortion, they wait until the get the big belly bump, apparently to show the world they are aborting the kid. I think some of them get a perverse thrill out of knowing the baby is fully formed and moving around, kicking, before they go to a clinic and the abortion "doctor" stabs the unborn baby with a hollow needle and vacuums out it's guts. All of these women are pushing for laws that allow abortions up to the moment of birth! WTF!
No, I am not some religious nut. I am definitely not Christian. I just think that mothers murdering their babies are sick fu@ks.
I hope men go on a sex strike and refuse to have sex with these crazy, radical progressive whores21 Reply- +1 y

+1 yThis idea had been tried before and failed back before Colonial times when entire populations of women would withhold sex to protest a war. Men are not as desperate for children as women overall. Also, you forget that a woman was part of the majority decision and that there are plenty of women who are not brainwashed to believe that banning abortion is an attack on the rights of women.
In ANY other circumstance outside of abortion, most people would agree that an individual's rights are not allowed to affect others. For example, a man has a right to get drunk but he DOES NOT have the right to DRIVE while drunk because if he does then his actions could kill someone who chose not to drink and drive. Same with abortion. A woman's choice ends when her choice affects the ability of a defenseless baby to live or die.
When it comes to firearms, it is generally agreed that owning a gun is not a crime but robbing a bank and putting lives and money in danger is. Same with abortion. Anyone getting an abortion is putting a baby in danger.
See the pattern here? Abortion is no different than any other right/lack of. It has nothing to do with feminist bullshit about patriarchy. It has to do with law and order and the fact that an individual's rights are not allowed to interfere with the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of another.
Finally, the Supreme Court DID NOT ban abortion. They just said it is not part of the Constitution and is not the business of the federal government. The states get to decide. If you LOVE murdering children and calling it abortion, move to a state that still allows it.30 Reply
1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. lol 🤣 HELL to the NO!!! This is a perfect example of not understanding how the other side thinks… and voluntarily jumping exactly where we want you. THANK YOU! Remember the traditional stance… of NO PREMARITAL-SEX?
Abstinence, responsibility, careful choice of sexual-partners, discipline, and self-restraint is EXACTLY what conservative-leaning people have been teaching. Please, DO this! You may not initially "enjoy" it, but you will soon see and recognize the benefits we've long been teaching.
Avoid unwanted pregnancies FOR FREE!!! (Yes, FREE BIRTH-CONTROL was in your control since the very beginning! Can you believe it?) Worry no more about birth-control expenses, pregnancy-threats, paternity-issues, S. T. D.'s, being used for sex by someone who doesn't really care about you, increasing fuck-boys in your area with simultaneous husband-material men falling, potentials for brutal rape from shady one-night-stand guys, etc. You have more time to work on yourself, learn skills, earn more money, rest, relax, recharge, etc.
And the social benefits are there, too: How exactly do you expect to give the "You're so awesome, the world needs more of you"-reward to men you actually hope/wish the built-in sentiment would never actually do… and not think this will incentivize more of these people to multiply (by birth and/or learning from the examples of others)? And not think this rise of hook-up culture won't hijack or heavily-influence the culture of men in your society?10 Reply
+1 yIf women - and men - would have responsible sex, then Roe Vs. Wade would not be an issue. If you don't want a kid take the necessary precautions. And none of this "Nothing is 100% effective. If you both use precautions - condom and the pill - it would be pretty darn close to 100%. The pull out method is not much better than no birth control at all. It's merely whether you feel lucky or not. Using an abortion as your form of birth control is ludicrous.

Do you realize that abortion is now up to the states? That's the way it should have been all along. The federal government wasn't meant to do anything but protect our borders, and they failed at that.

Why do people think the sky is falling? Order some pills online. The next thing that needs to go is the department of education. What a huge waste of money. States can figure this out without the help of grandma vodka. (Pelosi)

I'm just saying that I don't know why people are making such a big deal out of this supreme court decision. Look at all the idiots on this site that think abortions are now illegal. They're not.
So you listen to MSNBC or CNN? With abolishing Roe V Wade abortions aren't illegal and the only thing it changed is states will decide and it won't be Federal law. This is how it should have been in 1973.

I wish. But yea they don't know anything
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt might change things, but it won’t happen for several reasons.
Not all women feel as strongly as you do about abortion. Some are pro-life. Some will be a little bit pissed off but not as much as you are. None of those women are going to go on a sex strike.
Women want sex as much as men do. Horny women aren’t going to decide not to have sex. A lot of the time the reason women get pregnant accidentally is because they’re impulsive and they end up having unprotected sex.
It also makes no senseThe kinds of men who are most likely to support a ban on abortion are right wing men, and they’re more likely to be with a right wing woman who most likely agrees. The kinds of men who are most likely to be pro-choice are liberal men, who are most likely to be with liberal women. So it would be liberal women having sex strikes, denying sex to men who already agree with them, while right wing men will still be getting laid.20 Reply691 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Sex strike and when he wants something let him give you oral! Dont do something that you dont like but the reason seems good enough. Let them sue you on surpreme court for sex. (Or better not they could decide guys have a right to assault and rape you legally if you deny them sex, with how their brain function works that could become a real danger) Better even put them in chastity so they know how it is not deciding over your own body. At least for the guys that support that decision. Make a law that the court members have to be follow with that too. Give them what they deserve and nothing else!

Yeah patch and pill hormonal overdose allways good. You know that not all can use hormonal birth controles. At least not without side effects. Yes prefarably to an unwanted child but still. There are other methods non hormomal IUDs but if you use one kind of birthcontrole (not condoms they are quite unsafe compared to others) you should be able to rely on the last way out if something does goes wrong. Nearly 100% is not = 100%.
- +1 y
There are non hormonal pills and yes patches don’t cause side effects. And sure yeah nearly 100% isn’t 100% Ik that. But life ain’t safe. I could say I’m 100% sure I won’t get shot by a lunatic with a gun, but that’s false it’s close to 100% but there’s a chance that I’ll be in a casket with bullet holes. Life isn’t safe it’s not 100% safe but guess what? Life has never been 100% safe

1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The main reason women want abortions available is so they can be promiscuous. So are you threatening to start acting the way people that are pro-life want you to act? Good, then they get both things they want. Stop killing healthy kids and stop whoring around.
And the promiscuous men will need to stop whoring around too because of possible child support.
This decision will have good effects on people's actions/morals. :)30 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yA sex strike would obviate the need for an abortion, so that's probably what you should have been doing all along.
Here's the problem with your "logic". There are actually more women than men who are pro-life, so there are plenty of women who won't feel the need to participate in your strike. Those women are already more appealing to good men as it is, and your strike would only make them that much more appealing than you. So unless you are or plan to become a lesbian, in the end you're hurting yourself more than anyone else.
My wife is pro-life, and I'm pretty sure she will prefer to celebrate tonight with some great sex rather than a strike. She's a good woman. Maybe you should try to be too.

@Jamie05rhs I've told you this before. When I got pregnant at 17 neither my husband or parents financially supported me or my son while I was pregnant and the first year of his life. I had to figure out a way to support us without having a job. Just because my husband supports us now does not mean he always did that. I should have gotten a abortion but couldn't bring myself to that but I don't blame anyone that does choose that cause having a child is not easy.

@Apple1996 no I don't know you but I know the things you said. You don't know right from wrong. You don't think there is right and wrong.
So besides it being illegal what stops you from killing someone? - +1 y
@Whatever2929292 i just have no reason to kill but really nothing is stopping me or anyone else from killing. The fact that it is illegal just makes it more fun for those that actually like it cause they want to be seen as bad/get the negative attention. It's a matter of perspective. Our society thinks it completely right for killing someone if it's in self defense. But bad for someone to kill for fun. I personally don't fall into either of those it's just not me I don't even kill/eat animals cause there is no point to do that. Not that it's wrong just something that I see as pointless.

@Apple1996 so you think murder should be legal then? At least people can get justice. So you don't understand anything. You have no morals. Yet you claim to be a Christian

- +1 y
@Whatever2929292 I don't care what's legal or illegal not really up to me. And even tho I'm Christian I also don't believe in heaven/hell same as I don't believe in right/wrong. Prob why I feel that way.
No I don't personally care about abortions. For other women's sake yes but I'd never get one I love having kids - +1 y

Lol yeah, I get it isn't feasible but it's the idea. If it was to happen, men would change their tune very quickly
+1 yI think abstinence is the pro-life evangelical dream scenario 😂

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yAbortions are still an option. All the SCOTUS ruling means is that abortion is up to the individual states to decide.
🤷♂️23 Reply- +1 y
Yeah. Its also the implications of the ruling that are frightening.
Opinion Owner+1 yWhat implications? That states can decide for themselves?
It just means there will be medical tourism like there already is. People will just travel to another state to have an abortion if the one they are in makes it illegal.- +1 y
The implications that of this can be overturned then other things can be overturned such as gay rights. That is what Justice Thomas suggests the court should reconsider.
It implies that legal precedent no longer matters and we can just over turn anything based off how it's interpreted by that city l court

20 ReplyI am grateful to live in a country where abortion is safe and legal and is essential healthcare. But yes some sort of strike will go on and I fully support it
