First there's no federal funding for abortions, so let's stop with the whole notion that taxpayers are paying for anyone to get an abortion.
Second if it's not federally funded, who pays for it? Usually it's paid out of pocket, by the patient.
Third, if you have a penis, your opinion doesn't really matter.
That you think it does, is the whole reason why so many women are upset over this. It's not because ¾ of the women in the country are looking to get an abortion, it's that the federal government (mostly white men) shouldn't have that much control over every women's body.
What's more, the Republicans have spent the last 50 years pushing this agenda. All three of the justices appointed by Trump lied under oath that they would respect the well established ruling of Roe v Wade. There is so much other shit wrong with this country that needs to be addressed but they have no solution for anything, and refuse to pass any attempt to resolve any of those issues.
The rest of the world sees this as us falling from the moral high ground that we think we're on.
This is just the beginning of it, they will try to take every liberty they can from everyone of us. You're OK with this one but wait until they get to one that matters to you, that affects your life directly. Wait until that happens, and because of what they will have taken by then, even if people want to agree with you there will be nothing anyone can do about it.
They might as well just reversed women's suffrage.
Can I just ask you a question with your theory being right. Why are more than 100 girls more likely to use birth control, than 136 abortions? Girls are not stupid or uninformed unless they are underage? In the case of Underage it is Statutorily Rape and charge every single one of those bastards, Governors, Congressmen and Senators you all must be Incredibly proud of every Statutory Rape You've ever gotten away with? Considering we spend about 500000 times as much for military (it's 100% of our debt) then abortion, this is a massively silly argument.

Birth control might not prevent every pregnancy even when used properly. But it is a good start.
